"Are you two on honey moon?." Sara asked. "Yes." I replied shyly. "Awwn. Congratulations. Cheers to our newly married couple." Sara shouted and everyone surprisedly started clapping for us.
After the dinner, Rowan led me out of the restaurant. He took me out on a stroll outside. My stomach ached badly at how much i ate Guacamole. "Are you okay?" He asked. I nodded. "You're not. You ate like there's no tomorrow" He teased and i laughed. We walked for awhile until we could'nt go any further. We sat on the soft grass. "You know, i've never grown so much attached to anyone since the last two years." He said. I nodded not knowing exactly where he was taking the conversation to. "I find it hard to believe" I mumbled to him. "Aubrey" I look at him. "I want to know you more, Aub"
"Really?"
"Yes. I want to know how you grew up. I want to know how and what went through your life. I want to know...."
"Ssssssshhhh" I placed my index finger to his mouth. He stared at me like a child who was caught up in an act. I laughed lightly.
"I grew up without a dad. It was really hard for my mom. Especially when i was little, no one to help her. She contributed to who i am today"
"How old?,"
"You were a toddler. Six months?"
"A year and then" He was quite a good guesser. "That's so young."
"Yes. It had been really hard until i was old enough to work. Then you came into my life"
He chuckled, as i remembered how we met. "Any boyfriends?" He asked quickly. "Boyfriends ain't my problem. Infact i have no male friends. " He raised his brows. "I take it that you've not been intimate with any"
"The kiss at the wedding was my first" He raised his brows. "I'm happy to know that I'm your first" He said lowly. "What did you say?" I asked. "I said nothing"
"You said something" I taunted. "I didn't" He avoided my gaze embarrassedly. "No, you did. Don't dare lie to me" I started laughing non stop. I can't believe Rowan could behave this childish. "Are you shy to say it?" I asked eyeing him closely. "Say what?"
"Never mind" I blurted and got up. "What is it?, where are you going?"
"Look,you keep saying things and denying it. It just makes the evening boring" He got up too.
"So where are you going?" He asked. "To our suite"
As i made to go, he grabbed me closer. He was really close and the atmosphere tensed, I shut my eyes close. "You're so beautiful." He mumbled into my ear. He bit my ear lobe and i moaned. Not loud though, just muffled it out. "I love you, Aubrey, deeply"
And so, he kissed me.
We were back at our suite kissing intensively. He removed his jacket and threw it on the floor. He grabbed my waist and pushed me forward, he looked at me, his eye's full of affection and mixed with lust. His beautiful eyes was so lovely and cute, i could stare all day but that's for another day, this moment was intense, at a time, i became confused. How on earth did he ever fell inlove?, and again, it was question for another day. He pushed me gently on the bed, he got into the bed, took my lips again and began kissing me.
"You're so beautiful, Aubrey." He kept ringing it into my ear. I swallowed a lump down my throat and looked at him right at his eyes. "Do you want me to go intimate tonight?" I asked. He raised his brow and smiled. He placed his soft hand at my right cheek. "Baby, do whatever you want"
"I don't want it" I said bluntly, honest.
"What?" I almost laughed at his changed expression. "I seriously don't want to go intimate yet" He wasn't smiling, but he didn't frown. His expression was totally blank. "Anything you want, baby."
There was silence. The room was quiet and Rowan was looking at me. "Why are you looking at me?" I asked him. "I can't stop staring at the beauty in front of me. You're so adorable"
"That's cute. Tell me, have you had sex with someone else?"
"Yes."He frowned "Anna" I twitch my face at the mention of that Anna. What she did to Rowan was totally uncalled for, if she had ended the relationship right away before the wedding, Rowan wouldn't had been embarrassed, she even added salt to the injury by stealing from him. Fuck her!!.
I layed down as Rowan cuddled me, we both lost in thought. He was thinking and i was thinking and only i knows what i was thinking about. I wish i could just magically slide into the brain and see what he had in mind. "Rowan" I called lowly. There was silence. "Rowan" I repeated and there was no response. I slowly got up from the bed and shifted towards him, that was when i knew that Rowan had been sleeping quietly beside me. I moved down and slowly took off his shoes. I went back into his arms and slept off.
I woke up and didn't find Rowan anywhere on the bed. The door of the bathroom opened and i quickly shut my eyes closed. I heard footsteps approached the bed, he sat down on the bed. "You were so beautiful while you were asleep. I know you are awake." I snapped my eyes open and hit him with the pillow. He laughed. "How did you know?" I asked. "I guessed"
"Ha-ha. Thanks for letting me sleep this much"
"You're welcome dearie. Hop to the bathroom and I'll be back shortly" He left before i said stop. He was always fast. I smiled and left the bed.
Downstairs with Rowan and a table set in between. A flower was on the table and we were having a mexico breakfast. "I ordered this since you seem to love Mexico meals a lot"
"That's so fantastic. The meal's great"
"Good morning" A female voice said behind and we looked to find Sara on a similar dress with mine. A flashlight went through us and we all turned to see Saeed with a camera. He smiled and took more of it before sitting.
"How are the couple doing?" He asked shaking Rowan's outstretched hand. "Well. Join us for breakfast" He urged them as we smiled. "You look beautiful in your dress " I complimented. "Same do you" She sat beside me.
"So you both. Are you here for honey moon?" Rowan asked and Sara laughed. "I and my husband has been married for three years now. " I raised my brows. " We just came to celebrate our anniversary together"
"Happy anniversary" I said to them. "Thank you"
A plate of Enchilades was served for them and we all began eating.
"Zoe called in the morning" Rowan announced. "Really?, that's very nice of them to call"
"She was very happy and she wishes you well. You were fast asleep so i couldn't wake you."
"Thanks babe. I needed the sleep anyway."
"Anything for you. This is the list of what we're going to do . Zoe sent it"
