After the long bath, Anna had taken mostly all of my stuff and scrubbed the soap on my back, then bubbles were released making it more relaxing. When I was finished preparing to sleep, Anna left and I nodded hesitantly. 
    
    I feel oddly uncertain. My guts are telling me about danger that I am not aware of. Anna left and I couldn't shut my eyes. I feel like something might happen and it won't make me sleep.
    
    It's in the residence, no, I am in my own residence which is one of the highly secured mansions in the capital but it doesn't mean the security is safe, all the time. 
    
    I tried shrugging my head but the feeling just kept on getting stronger and stronger.  Like it's about to explode and that made me jump off the bed turning against an unknown presence that opened my balcony window. 
    
    Sharp eyes, hidden underneath a rob, dark appearance, hidden compartments, daggers and poisons. The smell of rotten blood, instinct and a rat. This man an assassin? He almost put holes into my body. 
    
    "A child, can dodge my daggers? No, a girl can dodge it, " he said but with a cold breath that made me flinch. I knew it, my guts don't lie and I don't often feel this kind of in-danger presence. 
    
    I stood up straight and smiled. "This is the Crambell mansion, how dare you enter the room of a lady without permission! " He snorted and laughed before he looked at me. 
    
    "So, this is that trashy brat, Marline wants me to get rid off? Haha, so interesting, " I closed the distance on purpose but what surprised me is the fact that he disclosed the name of his contractor is such immature thinking of a novice assassin. 
    
    "This is too bothersome, " I commented and tilted my fingers. "Your assassin are you not? What do you want from me, explain!?" 
    
    "Nothing, milady, but your head! Everyone wants you dead nowadays, hahahaha, this is so much fun, " this man is a lunatic, I'm sure of that but lunatics are of course people that I wish to slit their throats off. 
    
    I guess I can say, I'm screwed? Nah, father is just behind the other chamber, I just need to get there or I'll shoot fire here— no, the house will burn and it's dangerous for me. 
    
    I can't use my magic now. 
    
    "That's a shame, " I said and immediately opened the door which he couldn't open first because of how fast I was.
    
    Then I ran towards the next door but the assassin was just behind me, luckily I was able to dodge most of his attacks and blindly pushed towards the door that leads to my father. If I remember, father has collections of weapons around his chambers, it will be fine to enter now. 
    
    When I entered, I was startled. Instead of my father, I was welcomed by an empty room, no weapons, no furniture, only an empty room. "Stop moving little brat! " It can't be, I went in the wrong direction! 
    
    The assassin throws knives at me and I dodge it. There's no weapon— wait, there is a weapon, I grabbed one of the fallen knives and prepared for a counterattack. 
    
    The assassin fell on my bait and immediately swayed my body. Jumping into one side after another,  blocking all knives thrown at me and I attacked but he was good with close combat as well! 
    
    The sword is nowhere to be found. I'm using knives and martial arts all together to enhance my close combat skills. "Damn, you! " I got the upper hand on our battle and stepped on his toes as hard as I could before kicking his knee. 
    
    Then I retreated to dodge him once more. We clash blades again and again, but since he was probably injured in his foot, he had a hard time getting up on his own. "A woman, can fight? " Since earlier, he kept bubbling to himself and he even missed his shots. 
    
    Like a drunkard. 
    
    "Know your place!" I said coldly and struck him in the chest, then his blood poured all over me and his blood tainted most of my nightgown. I swept my face but the blood only spread further. 
    
    I threw the knife and smelt the blood but I couldn't care less. To be frank, I should go wash now, the noise here might have gotten attention from the patrols and guards nearby.

    Morning arises, and my face aches. My eyes had painted black lines, and my head was shaking in disappointment. I haven't slept so I have dark circles around my eyes. I'm also tired and my back is stiff from what happened last night. 
    
    Knights and patrols heard the commotion and I ended up sneaking like a spy. I burned my nightgown and cleansed most of the blood on the floor using magic, I didn't have time to scrub it myself.
    
    Now, I feel so tired that I have to stay inside my bedroom. Most of my classes would start between 9 o'clock till afternoon, and I promised to meet Lucia in the afternoon for her subject. She will also attend most of my classes with me so it's fine, but I was a little bit sleepy the whole hour. 
    
    "Did something happen?" Anna asked, but I couldn't tell her that an assassin came trying to kill me, still who would want to kill me? And who is this Marline that the assassin bragged about?
    
    I shake my head. "I couldn't sleep yesterday, I feel like something happened, " I snored and let out a growling sound. Anna was silent, hearing that made her look at me in horror. 
    
    She's sharp, see? "Don't tell me? " I smiled and laughed at the same time. "No, it's not what you think, a rat came barging into my room so I had to get rid of it, " she brushes my hair as she continues looking at me with a sharp look. 
    
    "A rat? " She probably already knows. I snored and stretched my hands down and up, before looking at the mirror with my tired face. I want to sleep. 
    
    "I am certain that milady is really tired, " I look at her. 
    
    "Of course! I really work hard! " I bragged and smiled. I feel much better after that assassination attempt yesterday. Though, I really need more time to sleep nowadays that I am in Seira's body. Usually, I don't sleep well at night so I'm quite strong when it comes to not sleeping at all. 
    
    That's different in Seira's body. She cannot handle it. "By the way, did father go? " I ask, since it has been awhile since I last saw my father, I grew doted on his presence. 
    
    "He left early, because of the commotion yesterday night, he had worked hard to submit an overall investigation about yesterday, and he went hunting down the assassins contractor, " she looked at me and her eyes met mine, before I knew, she was looking at me sharply so I had to look away. 
    
    "The increase of assassins trying to sneak into the mansion has gone worse, this is the 2nd time they barged in but this is the 1st time, milord is finding the one who killed the assassin, " once again with her sharp eyes, the hell! Stop looking like I was a problem. 
    
    "So, as for Milady's protection, Sain and Dores will be your bodyguard for the whole year, " bodyguard? Right, two assassination in a just few week, ever since I became Seira, I've only encounter danger of those who seek Seira's life. 
    
    I heard she did nothing but because they had to bring down my father, the only thing they can touch is the dotted daughter, Seira. This is probably about politics again, not like I care but sometimes politics make people go senile. 
    
    It's stupid and crazy.

    It's been a few months since I became Seira, about 4 months now. The marquess residence had become silent, since I come often in the district area to investigate the one who cause so many assassination attempt on me. 
    
    I stirred out all of the problems regardlessly. The mystery about this woman called Marline. The district area— no, in the eternal district area of the capital, the most rural and close to the outskirts is where the regular base quarters of the knights lay. 
    
    It is where the 6th army division had been placed. We went there often to find as much information as we could, and even infiltrated fathers investigation to find a few clues. Finally, assassinations has rapidly kept on appearing on my door and I had to lead them away to avoid getting suspected by father. 
    
    Many things happen too, I personally became the swordsman teacher of the entire Crambell army, in secret. Lucia has progressed her knowledge but it is still imperfect, Anastasia would often study with Lucia but enjoy her time with me. 
    
    She doesn't mention Ulysses anymore. Other than that, it was a peaceful month and I became 11 this year.
