CHAPTER THREE Mira's Identity

Mira, a very beautiful and passionate maiden with divine endowment. She was the most beautiful amongst all the maidens in Crums.
Everyone loved her not because of her beauty alone but because of her kindness and the love she radiated.
She really took after her parents and never for once did she contradict all the morals that her parents inculcated in her.
She had them all at the tips of her fingers and displayed them whenever need be.
The ease at which she does certain things with great prowess always left many wishing that they are like her or that her parents were alive to see what they begot.
She was really a true replica of her parents.
She radiated goodness to all not minding who the being was or whatever that may come out of it.
She had the most beautiful tail which glittered like the noon sun even without polishing it.
Her hair was so long and soft.
It was dark and lovely with few golden strands located around the left side of her head.
Her lips were so soft with red shimmers like that of a red bonnet pepper and her eyes were clear like that of a child's.
Male and female got attracted to her. The old ones and the younger ones were not left out, too.
Her smile was second to none. The way she smiled, showing her perfect dentition made people love her the most.
She was just a beauty goddess radiating beauty in all the spheres of Crum.
She lived in the empress's abode.
Mira's father died when he visited the surface for sightseeing and to feel the ecstatic nature of the surface.
He hid himself behind a rock at a corner of the blue sea that fateful day after he had swam for long.
He was just trying to rest a little before going to his favorite spot where he normally stays whenever he comes to the surface but unfortunately for him, a big boat was sailing by.
As he was trying to dodge from the boat, it hit his tail.
The boat was carrying fishermen who came to fish.
Without wasting time, the fishermen threw their net in his direction because they thought that it was a big fish.
The fishing net caught hold of him.
It was really unfortunate that he could not escape from the net.
As they dragged their net, it was such a heavy one.
It was really heavier than usual which made them anxious to know exactly the type of fish that their fishing net caught.
This made them increase the pace and force with which they dragged the fishing net.
When they finally dragged out the net.
They were amazed at the creature they saw.
Goosebumps were scattered all over their skin.
The fear in them got them screaming - monster!!
They screamed on top of their voices for help.
Their screams attracted a good number of people.
They all ran out from where they were relaxing and having fun to help the fishermen only for them to see the monster that they caught.
They quickly rolled the boat to the dry land.
They began to hit him with all manner of hard objects - woods, tree branches, planks, stones and shoes.
Their noise drew the attention of others who were not aware of what was happening.
They all gathered and continued hitting him. Some females amongst them used the hill of their shoes.
Some where taking photos and videos of him with their smartphones.
It was only a few people that felt pity for him but they could not help the matter. Instead, they stayed far away, crying.
They kept hitting him until he started bleeding.
They didn't stop until they made sure that he was dead.
Then, they gathered all manner of things that can easily catch fire around him and made the fire that got his dead body burnt to ashes.
The whole of that day passed and they neither saw the greenlight of Mira's father nor his whereabouts.
This got her mother panicking.
It was on the third day of his disappearance that the news got to Sibraa.
Sibraa related the news to the then empress.
He told the empress that it was at the cause of him swimming around the blue sea that something caught hold of him and killed him, eating his body up.
This left Mira without a father for a while before she became an orphan.
The disappearance of Mira's father left her mother so lonely.
She tried to fill up the vacuum that her father left but all to no avail.
It took her months to become a little stronger again.
Nothing ever gave her joy anymore.
Not even her sister, Lulu.
Lulu was not even helping matters at all.
She kept frustrating her sister by saying that she was the one who killed her husband.
All this ill treatment got really hard on her and she decided to leave the empire to a place where she could find peace.
