"Yes. She is my girlfriend." Hyuk Soo tightened his grip on So Eun's hand. She is speechless.
    Min Hee was just staring, disbelieving. Hyuk Soo becomes more aggressive. He wraps his hand around So Eun's waist, increasing their intimacy. Min Hee gave up. She turned around and walked away.
    Hyuk Soo keeps hugging So Eun until Min Hee disappears. So Eun doesn't know how to respond. She isn't really sure what this is supposed to mean. So she keeps silent.
    "Let's go," Hyuk Soo led the way, smiling. She just follows him without any other questions.
    She is confused. Are they really in a relationship now or is this just any other show he puts on to push away any unwanted girl who approaches him? She wants to ask him, but her pride doesn't allow her to. What if this is his only other show? Isn't it going to be really embarrassing to ask him? She doesn't let her heart be flattered and just goes with the flow. She doesn't want to put her hopes up. They are just friends. She assumed
    Hyuk Soo is not really sure why, So Eun keeps silent. He tries to start a conversation.
   "Your act is really great," he praised her on the stage. It is not an empty word; she is really good at acting. It is a matter of fact. But he failed to make the mood better. She only gave a short answer of thanks. They awkwardly walk together in silence.
at Kim Young Kwang's house
   Min Hee is frustrated. She never thought that Hyuk Soo would push her away just like that. He changes. She made that mistake and he never acted cold or distant before. She thought he would open his hand and welcome her again, forgiving her. But he rejects her for another woman. She is heartbroken. She does really like him. After her breakup with In Sung, she realized that the one she likes the most is none other than Hyuk Soo.
   She tries to soothe her heart by opening the fridge door and taking a sip of soju. At that time, Young Kwang has just entered the kitchen. He asks his sister about what frustrated her.
    "Do you know the girl who came to the premiere with Hyuk Soo?" She asks her little brother.
   "So Eun-ie?" The way he addressed her name shows that he has a close relationship with her, which is unpredictable for Min Hee. He took a glass of orange juice and was about to take a sip of the cold drink.
   "She is dating Hyuk Soo," she informed Young Kwang. He freezes. His glass is stopped in mid-air. His mind is clouded. He doesn't know what to think. His very actions are not realized by the sister. She is busy with her own thoughts while enjoying the sour soju. The sibling is silenced by their own breakdown.
Next day in front of University
     So Eun ran fastly toward the gate. She had just gotten a text from Young Kwang, who informed her that he was here. And he does. She can see his car parked on the side road. When he recognized her, he opened his window and waved at her. He told her to come in.
    On their lunch break, Young Kwang takes So Eun to have lunch together. They go to a local private restaurant and enjoy a tasty meal. So Eun is excited to eat. She is starving.
   "Is it tasty?" Young Kwang laughs when he sees how enthusiastic she is. She smiled brightly and continued savoring her food.
   "So Eun-ah...Can I ask you a question?" Young Kwang sounds serious, but he maintains his warm smile on his lips. So Eun allowed him to ask.
    "Do you really date Hyuk Soo?" He asked her carefully. So Eun, staring at him, put her spoon down and sighed.
    "It's only an act." She gives her answer and explains her circumstances. She tells him every detail about her relationship with Hyuk Soo and how everything started. She comes to the conclusion that Hyuk Soo only did what he usually did, pretending that they were dating.
    "Thanks God, I'm relieved." Young Kwang smiles brightly at her. She is puzzled and asks him why.
    "Actually, I didn't plan to tell you like this. But well, I like you. In a romantic way. "Young Kwang confesses to her shyly." His bright face is kind of red. So Eun is taken aback by his sudden confession. She is coughing a lot. Young Kwang gives her water quickly. And apologize to her for shocking her like this.
    "Are you... serious?" So Eun asks timidly, her cheeks reddening. She doesn't predict this at all. The top model, Young Kwang, would make a confession like this. He answered her brightly, nodding confidentally.
   "You see, I won't push you to give me an answer soon. Relax. And take your time." He tries to be considerate of her, which is very kind of him.
   "Why don't we try to go on a date to identify your feelings toward me. If you are ready, we can start dating. Isn't it sound okay for you?" He tries to persuade her carefully without ignoring her inner feelings. She may feel some discomfort with his confession, and he is really trying to understand her shoes.
   His kind consideration touched her heart. She can't reject him at all. So she agreed to go for a date with him this weekend.
   After finishing their lunch, Young Kwang drops So Eun at her campus, and he decides to visit his stoic best friend. Hyuk Soo was busy organizing a shelf book when he arrived. He keeps smiling happily at Hyuk Soo, which is very annoying, but Hyuk Soo can't help but smile too.
   "Why are you so happy?" Hyuk Soo is curious. But Young Kwang even asked him to guess.
   "You win a lot." He guessed carelessly. Young Kwang shook his head.
    "I'm going on a date with So Eun," he announced. This very answer freezes Hyuk Soo. His face became serious.
    "She is my girlfriend though," he says coldly. Young Kwang is confused with his swift mood but decides to take it easy.
   "She told me everything though, it's only an act." Young Kwang repeats the explanation given by So Eun to Hyuk Soo. He could only hear each story from Young Kwang silently, his heart feeling heavy. He was rejected behind his back by the girl he cheered for. She doesn't take him seriously at all.
    He sighed heavily. He was assuming that his friend, like him, has feelings for So Eun. But it seems that Hyuk Soo didn't relay his feelings properly.
    "You do like her too, don't you?" Young Kwang confirmed with his friend. Hyuk Soo is silent, doesn't have the strength to answer. He is heartbroken. Young Kwang sighed deeply, taping his hand on Hyuk Soo's shoulder.
   "You need to tell her properly then. But.... Just because you are my best friend doesn't mean that I will give up on her easily. Let's play fair and square," Young Kwang comforts Hyuk Soo before he leaves.
   Hyuk Soo doesn't know what to think or what to do. He thought he had been relaying his feelings to So Eun properly, but he hadn't. He even figures out that his best friend has feelings towards the girl he likes. And she undirectly rejects him in front of his rival while agreeing to go on a date with Young Kwang. Does he even have a chance? He really has no idea.
