"No, it can't be true. Aunt Emily is too nice, she and my were in good terms when she was alive, why then will she want to kill her?" I asked no one in particular. All eyes in the room rested on me as they waited for my reaction. "I don't think she's the one" I shrugged and they murmured in distaste, Daisy rolled her eyes, "you can't be serious now Mr Rolland, what other proof do you need to see?" She asked frustratedly. "Boss, I think Melly is right, after all this time, we finally found a trail. Are you saying we should forfeit everything we've worked for without a single investigation at least?" Kelvin asked in desperation.
I thought for a while before an evil smirk rose to my lips, "I've got the perfect plan for this" I said and they sighed in relief I think. Come to think of it, how do I put this amazing plan of mine into action?, "Come with me Mel" I said, dragging Melly out of the ward.
Unknown POV
"Boss, code red!"I yelled from my sitting position, pushing my hand inside my hair. "Calm down Romeo and tell me what's amiss" the man from the other line tried to sooth me. "They found out boss, they are planning to investigate madam Emily" I explained and the line went dead for a while. "Who's in charge of this investigation?" He asked after a while, "I don't know yet" I answered. "Find out who is bringing them information and do something about it, I don't care whoever it may be" he gritted, "sure thing boss" I replied, a devilish grin on my face.
"The assistant is really a good tool to use to get to Rolland, we will keep her. Tell the boys to return to the hideout" he said, more like ordered, "yes boss", "and try to get close to that assistant of his, she may be willing to share one or two things she learnt about Rolland and how far they will go in finding out the truth that was long buried" he said and I smiled, "of course, fortunately I and Amelia are quite close, getting her to talk to me won't be a problem at all" I said with a proud smile. "I trust you Romeo and I promise to reward you handsomely. If this operation is successful, I will give you one of Stones company to handle" he said and I fist pumped into the air, "I won't let you down Boss".
The line went dead, I began to arrange the tactics I would use in bringing Rolland down.
Rolland
Once we were outside the ward and away from the peering eyes of our friends, I gave Melly a deep kiss on the lips and smiled brightly at her, "you're so wise Mel, whoever called you naive must be stupid" I said breathlessly and she giggled. I found myself smiling too, she's just too cute.
"I just need the perfect plan. Don't blame me, I don't think aunt Emily has a hand in my mom's death but on a second thought, her children detests me. I'm coming up with something and you're fully needed to make this a reality" I explained, my hands cupping her small face. "Any thing for your happiness Boss, I'm willing to help you" she answered and my heart leapt for joy. I never knew feeling butterflies in the stomach was true, her words felt comforting and encouraging. I could not resist slipping my arms around her and pressing her small frame to my body.

We were currently sitting in the hospital room where Felix was receiving treatment. Kelvin stood in front of us trying to explain whatever plan he devised. Melly sat close to me, fondling or do I say, playing with my fingers. She had a playful smile on her small face and I chuckled softly, it was obvious that we were oblivious of whatever Kelvin was saying because we kept playing like kids. She had an incoming call all of a sudden and excused herself to answer it. From the corner of my eyes, I was able to detect the caller which was her mom. Don't blame me, I'm trying to protect what's mine.

She sent a text message to me telling me that she had to leave. I realized that it was getting late and Mrs Susan must be worried about her child's whereabouts. Daisy gave Steven a light peck and waved us goodbye before going out of the ward as well. I made a quick note to text the plan to them as soon we were done.
Amelia
I stretched lazily on my bed, Daisy was beside me, doing the same. My phone beeped, I picked it up and smirked at the plan the boys made, it gives me joy when evil doers are punished accordingly. My mind drifted to the man with black shades which turned out to be Rolland's uncle, "thinking about it, gives me creeps but I can't help but wonder why he looks suspicious".

I dressed in the short red gown Rolland brought alongside the jewelries, except the necklace. I was still wearing Romeo's gift which complemented my gown. I heard Rolland suck in a huge breath as I came out of my room, I smiled shyly before putting my hands in his bigger one.
"Let's go find out, shall we?" I asked in a professional voice and he chuckled. Slowly he regarded me until his eyes landed on the necklace I was wearing, "I didn't notice the necklace but I must confess, you look like a princess" he smiled, "thanks babe, for the necklace, it was a gift from Romeo" I replied. "Romeo?, The newbie?" He asked in shock and I nodded slowly.
As if he was possessed, he turned my back against him and unhooked the necklace, he thrashed it to the ground, "son of a!!" he yelled smashing the poor necklace. When he was calm enough, he smiled at me but I was getting pissed already, "Don't worry babe, I will get you another one, it will be the same, I promise". I just left the room not ready to vent my displeasure in what he has done.
Unknown POV again (Romeo)
I couldn't believe it, there was no signal, I tried all I could do to restore the connection but I couldn't. The tracker I placed in the necklace has been damaged. I let out a fearful shriek and grabbed my phone.
"Boss, we have a problem" I croaked.
