Rolland made sure to get a lot of information from his uncle about his late parents and right now, we are driving to the cemetery where his mom was buried. Funny it will be his first time there, but I can't blame him, he never knew. He practically ran away after her death.
Everything seemed to be in order after Rolland succeeded in putting his enemies behind bar. Jennifer was sent to prison and will be out in the next five years. Romeo got punished too, though I was very disappointed in him for trying to use our friendship for his own selfish interest, what can I say?, He got what he deserved. Evans is taking care of his father's company though he plans to build his empire and close the company down. Lily left the country to study outside the states. Felix is fully recovered and never ceases to brag about how strong he is to survive a hit from a bullet, he's a funny dude with a great sense of humor. Kelvin got a job in Rolland's company and with the money he earned, he rented an apartment where he and Alexis live. Sam moved down to the city and is now working in Steven's company, he once mentioned a girl he seemed to be falling for and we can't wait to see this damsel as he always described. As for Steven and Daisy, well, they are doing well being the volatile couple, this minute they are acting all sweet and lovey-dovey, the next minute, they are teasing and bugging the brain out of themselves, well they are in love, that's all that matters.
"A penny for your thoughts" Rolland sang taking me back to reality, "just reminiscing on all that happened this past weeks" I said and he grinned, "they deserve whatever they got Mel, especially that Romeo dude, I wish I had forced that necklace down his throat before handing him over. Now you realize I'm always right, that dude was up to no good and it was a good thing he didn't catch your eyes before I did" he said with a cocky smile and I scoffed. "Actually he did swoop me off my feet with his gentlemanly gestures and sweet personality" I shot back with a knowing grin, "I know what you are trying to do Mel" he murmured and I smirked. He simply interlocked our fingers and placed a light kiss on my knuckles, "no matter what happens or whoever that wants to come between us, just know that it's you I will forever love" he said giving me a small squeeze. "I love you my grumpy Boss" I smiled.
We got to the cemetery to meet Steven, Kelvin, Alexis and Daisy already there. They were dressed in black likewise I and Rolland. I pulled out a bunch of roses from the back seat and went side by side with Rolland to the grave. "Mrs Eva Stones" was written boldly on the headstone. We payed our respects and left the cemetery just as we came.

"All done" Daisy grinned after applying make up on my face, I turned to the mirror and gasped at my reflection, "Daisy, have you thought of opening a makeup brand? Your work is so flawless, like geez", she gave me a bow and I giggled at her silly gesture. "Let's get going Mel,you don't want to be late" she said after checking the time and I groaned, "I don't feel like going out today" I yawned lazily and she gave me a stern look, "5 minutes, don't keep me waiting" with that she left the room for me to dress up.
Daisy practically hauled me out of the house. We stopped a cab and was driving to whatever location Daisy gave to the cabby. I was wearing a beautiful white flowy gown and black heels to match. Daisy was on red gown and wouldn't stop smiling as we went on. I stared at her suspiciously, "Daisy, where are we going to again?" I asked, "you will know when we get there" she said cheerfully, "it's one of the big plans I told you about a long time ago" she said, "I don't remember anymore sorry" I said and she scoffed, "that day on the dinning, we were eating fruits" she said and I cackled at the memory, "you picked a piece of fruit which fell on the floor and threw it into your mouth. Tch you're unpredictable" I mocked while shaking my head.
"And we are here!" She announced stepping out of the car, I was left gobsmacked at the sight ahead of me,the place was decorated with flowers candles and light bulbs. Daisy noticed how surprised I was and pulled my hands towards the opening where almost everyone I knew or have met gathered with a huge smile on their faces. Mom, Dad, Sam and the kids, Mrs Flora, Adams, Kelvin, Felix, Alexis, Steven, Evans, Lily, the workers from the company, my neighborhood friends, the man who had an accident and others who I couldn't remember well.
My eyes darted round the park till it landed on Rolland who was holding a rose beside the pianist, he gave me a wide smile which I returned before running to him. We held hands and danced to the tune from the piano for a while, "mi amor, I want you to be by my side from now onwards, I want to start a family with you and I have decided to make it official by asking you to be my wife in the midst of all the witnesses here. Amelia .T. Whites, would you like to become Amelia .T. Stones?" He asked while holding out a pretty diamond ring. A bead of sweat rolled down his face as he stared at me nervously. However, I took his hand and kissed it before allowing him to slip the ring unto my finger. I smiled tearfully while nodding in affirmation, "yes" I finally said and gasped at the impact of the tight hug Rolland gave me. The crowd cheered for us as we kissed.
Emily and her husband came too, although they were handcuffed and had the cops on the lookout for them. They seemed happy for us likewise everyone here.
