Jakes's travel to Alfheim was a tough one, first of all, he didn't know where it was and it wouldn't be possible to teleport to a location you don't have an idea of.
He also told Alfheim's King James of his coming, so he took a carriage ride. It took him 4 days to reach Alfheim.
"System gives me all the available detailed information on Alfheim!" Jake said to the system.
[System replying host... Alfheim land of Elves is a fictional race inhabiting Middle-Terran in the remote past. Unlike Men and Dwarves, Elves are immortal.
The Alfheim elves are large, sometimes dangerous, beautiful, lived in wild natural places, and practiced archery, They are also forgers and considered to be the best makers of cloud energy.
Elves, the Eldar which is the female, have a pregnancy that lasts about a year. By the age of 1, elves can speak, walk and dance. Puberty and full height are attained at around their fiftieth to one-hundredth year when they stop aging physically.
Elves marry freely, monogamously, only once, and for love early in life; adultery is unthinkable. Betrothal, with the exchange of rings, lasts at least a year, and is revocable by the return of the rings, but is rarely broken. Marriage is by words exchanged by the bride and groom and consummation is celebrated with a feast.
Elves cannot be forced to have sex; before that, they will lose the will to endure and go to Mandos. Elves have few children, and there are long intervals between each child. They are soon preoccupied with other pleasures; their Private part wanes and they focus their interests elsewhere, like the arts.]
Jake was overwhelmed by the way the system explains things to him, it was as if he was surfacing through the internet back on earth.
Alfheim gates were made with plants growing on each other, the guard saw Jakes's carriage heading towards the gates. He stopped the carriage for a checkup.
"State your names and the reason for being here!" The Alfheim guard said.
" We are from Arcadia!, and here with me is the king of Arcadia, he is here to meet with King the king of Alfheim!" Replied Jake guard.
The Alfheim guard walked towards the carriage and when he saw the royalty-dressed king inside the carriage he immediately let them pass and also assigned a guard to lead them to the castle area.
The setting of the Elves in Alfheim was a Nature habitat. The houses were hollowed-out-tree trunks, and Jake could see that it was a forest-like setting.
He passed the first area and then the carriage headed to the second area which was located in the meadows, there Jake saw lots of forgery workshops and also markets.
After passing the meadow, that was when Jake saw the castle. The gates stood 20ft tall, a plant-like gate. The Alfheim guard got off the carriage and walked forward towards the gate.
" Sir Loki !, I am here to see his majesty, the king of Arcadia is requesting for a meeting with the king!" the Alfheim guard spoke.
"His majesty is already expecting them! let them in!" Sir Loki replied ordering another guard to open the castle gate.
Jakes's guard drove him into the castle and when they stopped, Jake was led down from the carriage and into the palace. The palace was on a Long Lake, standing on a large wooden platform that towered above the water.
Jake was led into the palace and in the Throne room. he saw the king sitting and waiting with a cup of drink in his hands, he was dressed in full armor, one would think he was going for war.
" Welcome to Alfheim King Jake, hope you had a nice tour on your journey here?" King James asked.
"Yes!, and I must say Alfheim is a great place, and it has a very beautiful setting!" replied Jake.
"You can sit let's get down to business, I have already delayed your time with the tour, so how about we get into the matter of your coming here to visit Alfheim!, Would you like to have a drink, Alfheim wines is one of the best there is?" King James asked to wiggle and smiling with the cup in his hands.
Jake didn't want to accept the drink at first but was taught it might be rude not to, so he just accepted the wine.
" You see my reason coming of coming to Alfheim is because of the trade issues between my kingdom and yours, I got information saying that you shut down the trade between my kingdom and yours, I would like to know why?" Jake asked.
James just smiled before answering.
" The reason I shut down the Trade between our two kingdoms was because of the last king of Arcadia Matthew!"
" Please I would like to know what he did that made you shut the trade down!" said Jake.
" Matthew was a selfish and greedy king, he made his workers/ Traders cheat my Traders out of their goods and money, then he uses it to his advantage and also he raised arcadia price of goods making it hard for some of my Traders to buy from Arcadia!" James replied with an angry face.
" Am so sorry for that King James, You see' Matthew is no more and I will like for the Trade between our two kingdoms to continue!, all the prices of the goods will be reduced to an affordable rate and I have also ordered for the Traders who cheats your kingdom to be fired from their jobs and replaced with other people in other to bring peace to our kingdoms!" Jake replied.
" If it's so, then I don't have anything to worry about!, the Trade will be reopened to Arcadia, and I hope you won't repeat the same thing King Matthew did?" asked King James looking at Jake.
" Nothing of that sort will repeat itself, Arcadia now has a new king who brings nothing but justice! fairness! prosperity and many more to its people!" Jake replied and then he stood up to leave.
" Thank you for having me King James!, I will like to be on my way now, there are certain things I will like to also handle in my kingdom!" Jake said before leaving.
