" Please no need to kneel, as I said Kathy is like a sister to me and I will do everything in my power to keep her safe, and also as long as I'm here nothing will happen to you or her," Jake replied.
" Thank you, king jake you just made me the happiest mom in Terran, I am forever grateful!" Kathy's mom concluded, she saw Kathy walking towards them so she immediately started cleaning the tears from her eyes.
" Mom! what's wrong? are you ok, why are you crying?" Kathy asked her mom.
" It's nothing, Kathy, I had dust in my eyes that's why tears were in my eyes, and I was just chatting with King jake, he is friendly and a good chatter!" Kathy's mom lied, putting up a smile on her face so her daughter won't know she was crying.
" Hmm, ok mom I get it his the king and all, but today is my birthday and all about me, so let's go and have some drink. Kathy replied rolling her eyes, and she started dragging her mom to the reception area to grab a drink leaving jake standing.
Jake wasn't a party type, so he left to go back to his room and leave everyone to enjoy themselves.
" Am going to miss you, Kathy!" Kathy's mom said to Kathy holding her hands.
" You don't have to get worried mom, am a big girl who can take care of herself, and I also have really good friends who are always there to support me so you don't be too worried about me and just take care of yourself!"
" I still don't know why you refused to stay here in the castle and live with me!" Kathy replied.
" I don't want to be a burden to anyone and, I can just leave the house and company me and my husband built for years, I will visit you once in a while and it's not like I am leaving Arcadia, am still in Arcadia!" Kathy's mom said patting Kathy's back to ease her of her worries.
The party went on, till evening and then everyone started leaving the castle. Kathy went to her room and immediately she stepped in she felt a strong headache in her head, she held her head with her hands trying to get hold of herself.
She felt dizzy and immediately fell to the bed. Amy has been knocking on her door for some minutes and without getting any reply she became worried and impatient.
She opened the door to see Kathy with her head on the bed and her body on the ground. she rushed quickly towards her trying to wake her up, but she wasn't waking up, she took water from the cup on the table in Kathy's room and started sprinkling it on Kathy, but she still wasn't waking up, Amy then Dragged her to the bed and the rushed out to tell jake.
Amy rushed to him and told him Kathy fell unconscious, jake immediately sent for the royal healer.
And an old woman in her late 50s was seen walking towards Kathy's room with jake, Amy, Patrick, And Anthony following behind. She was the healer who jake sent for, she has been Arcadia royal healer for 2 decades, she was also the healer who worked in the castle when Jake real father was alive.
She told Jake and his friends to wait outside while she checks on Kathy.
After some minutes she came out and jake and his friends rushed towards her.
" How is she doing?" Jake asked the healer with a worried look on his face.
" She is fine, she just went into memory return stage which made her temperature rise and resulted in her fainting! she seems to be regaining some of her past memories, but she will be up in an hour, but she also needs rest!" she concluded then bowed to jake and then requested to leave in which jake granted her.
Soon the rest of the monarchs joined jake, and they all went into the room waiting patiently for Kathy to regain consciousness.
After an hour of waiting, Floyd and Seb were becoming impatient and wanted to leave, but they heard a sneeze and then they turned only to find Kathy's eyes wide open and sweat all over her body. They all rushed towards her.
" Kathy are you alright?" Jake asked. She responded with a nod and a smile on her face, then she started getting up from the bed, but was stopped by Amy.
" The healer said you need to rest, so don't even think of getting up!" Amy scolded her.
" Is ok am alright!, and I have finally regained my memories, Jake am ready! am ready to take back what is rightfully mine!" Kathy said with a courageous look.
" Ok then since you say you are ok and fine, it's time you go back to Brittia to take your throne!" Jake replied.
