Kathy immediately arranges her departure with Amy to her parent's house.
Nestled in the woodland, as humble as any rock face in these parts, was a mansion. Its windows were as shy eyes, large to welcome any ray of sun. The rock walls belonged right where it was as if perchance it had grown up right from that hallowed ground. It was as if it had been called into existence to protect those who came to dwell within, to quell the elements and allow heat to build from hearths into the inhaled woodland air.
The mansion was all concrete and tall glass windows that gave a view of the mountains, a chance to relax and take in the changing of the seasons from the comfort of an easy chair.
The mansion stood there as if the surrounding nature had embraced it, that the flora flowed within it as much as around it. For the architect had loved the trees so much that there was a mighty oak in the center, and the great house had been built around it.
Kathy immediately opened the door and rushed in with Amy following behind.
" Mom!, Dad!, an here!" Kathy said looking worried.
They both went upstairs to Kathy's parents', room and Kathy knocked on the door. After some time her mom opened the door for them to come in.
" Kathy dear! how have you been, me and your father missed you a lot, you have grown to become a beautiful woman, your father would be so proud of you!" Kathy's mom said with watery eyes.
Kathy rushed to where her mom was hugging her.
" Mom what is the problem, I got your letter telling me to come back, mom hopes everything is fine and where is dad I didn't see or hear his voice when I got in?" Kathy asked looking at the bed.
" That is why I requested your presence, please the both of you should come and sit with me, I want to discuss a very important matter with you!" Kathy's mom replied. Kathy and Amy then went to the bed to sit with Kathy beside her mom.
" Kathy I want you to listen carefully to what I want to discuss with you, First of all, Kathy, please what am going to tell you now, please just know it is the real truth, and I don't want to keep you in the dark anymore!" Kathy's mom said now holding Kathy's hands.
" Mom what is it, just tell me am getting curious!" Kathy replied looking more worried.
" Kathy I'm not your real mother, me and your dad took you from your kingdom in other to save your life!" Kathy's mom paused to look at Kathy's reaction.
Kathy looked Surprised why Amy was left stunned.
" What!, No!, mom you are just joking, and where his dad I'm missing him already!" Kathy replied with a more worried look.
" Kathy, please listen, am serious You are the true heir to the Throne of Brittia!"
" What!, wow! Kathy that means you are a princess!" Amy immediately shouted happily. Kathy just sat there looking dazed
" Kathy I and my husband rescued you from your kingdom 14 years ago before your parents died, I and my husband were trusted members of the royal family Brittia, Before your parent's death, they handed you to us to take your in as our child taking your memories aways and implanting a new one of I and my husband been your parents, you were only 4 years old then, they asked I and my husband to take care of you until you are 18, you were supposed to learn the truth on your 18th birthday which is in 1months time, but due to how matters are now, I needed to tell you."
" And on your 18th birthday, you were supposed to regain back all your memories, but due to the death of my husband the one you call dad, I was forced to tell you!" Kathy's mom started crying as soon as she was done.
" I still don't get what you are saying, I am the true heir of Kingdom Brittia, and wait what happened to dad, no his dead, how? why? when?" Kathy asked with tears falling from her eyes.
" The Queen of Brittia Lish, your Sister sent assassins to kill him! his dead! and your sister Queen lish has known of your existence, she was the one who killed your real parents and also wanted to kill you, but your parents learned of her plan and then gave you to us! Kathy's mom concluded.
Kathy just sat there on the bed in deep thoughts, then she looked up towards her mom

" She was not the true heir, fate made it that she wasn't born with the white harpy wings and ability to rule, instead you were given the powers to rule and the white wings! when she learned of this, she was so angry, she always tries convincing her parents the King and Queen of Brittia also your parents to let her rule as she was the first child and the worthy one, but your parents couldn't change fate and the Tradition of Brittia, they advise Lish to quit the idea of ruling and just wait for a good husband who will marry her, but greed and jealousy took over her into killing your parents, and you but only succeeded in killing your parents!"
