Evans Enterprise.
Inside a large office with a simple interior design, a man sat on the Exclusive chair as he read through some documents on his laptop.
Then a knock was heard on the heavy sandalwood door.
" Come in. " The deep velvety voice of the man was heard.
The door opened and a younger man walked in.
The man was putting on an all-black suit.
He walked towards the older man before speaking up, " I have done what you've asked me to, President. " He said.
The man in reading glasses finally looked up " Oh, Good job. "
" Thanks, President. Here is the file. " He said handing over a spiral-bound document to him.
The man in glasses collected the file from him. " Okay, you can leave now. "
" Alright, President.." The other man said as he certified before leaving the room.
Minutes after the younger man left, the man in reading glasses finally opened the document.
The title was Newly Modified family register.
Then he opened the pages and when he saw the name and picture on the final page, he smiled.

Name Malisa Evans.
Relationship Status: Married.
Position in the family: Matriarch.

Age: 18.
Location: Greenstone villa, France Paris.

At first, he was a little hesitant to register her as his wife since he wasn't interested in a young girl like her... Currently.
But well, he just decided to go with the flow and asked the family lawyer to register her as his wife instead of his sister as he wouldn't like to date his sister later on... If he becomes interested in her.
For now, he was just following his Intuition as it had never been wrong before.
* Ring. * His cell phone which was lying on the phone stand rang and he picked it up.
After glancing at the Caller's ID, little Sister ' he answered the voice and immediately.
Mary's sonorous voice rang out from the other side, " Hey Brother! "
" Hey, little Maria. How are you? "
" Am fine, Bro. What about you? "
" Good. " He grinned.
" That's good so has the family register been modified? "
" Yes, it has. "
" Oh wow! That's good news! Sis Malisa is now officially my sister-in-law! " She Exclaimed excitedly.
Adyen could already imagine her jumping around the house like a child.
" Oh, Mary. " He sighed helplessly.
" What's up, Bro? Are you still doubting my choice? I have never been wrong about judging someone and you know that. "

" It's alright Bro, I am sure we can handle that? Aren't you the king of the business world? So what are you fearful about? Who would dare mess with the Ruthless Business King? "
" You are right, but I still have my doubts though. "
" I know brother, but you deserve to be happy and for that, you have to settle down soon as you aren't getting any younger. "
" Settle down with an Eighteen-year-old girl? Isn't that child abuse? "
" It isn't child abuse! Moreover, she's an adult already and we also aren't forcing her into anything, she'll only agree to be with you if she wants alright? "
" Hmm. That's true but I feel that she might agree to anything we decide as she might feel indebted to us. "
" Yeah, you are right brother. But from the way I see it, Sis Malisa is not someone that can be ordered around. She's a strong woman. "

" Just wait till you know her better. "
" Whatever. What If she turns out to be like other girls? "
" She won't, I believe in her. "

" Hm, Good. So what are you doing before you decided to call me? "
" Well, I was studying for my upcoming exams. "

" I Know that, Brother. Anyways, have you had lunch yet? "
" Oh, lunch. I haven't had that yet. I'll ask my assistant to order for me. "
" Okay. I hope the food you are ordering will be healthy as your health matters a whole lot. "
" Of course it is. Like you said earlier, I am the king of the business world so I must not play with my health especially when enemies are lurking around waiting for the perfect chance to strike. "
" Yeah. I gotta go now, brother. I need to attend to something real quick. "
" Alright, take care. "
" And you too, Brother. " Mary said as the call got disconnected.
He sent a quick message to his assistant before placing his phone back on the stand and continued Checking the file.
He found himself staring at the girl in the picture, she looked so young and beautiful.
Though she wasn't White like both his sister and him he can't help but admit that she was breathtaking.
Ever since he first saw her at the village square being tied to the tree, tar-stained and helpless he had been feeling a form of attachment towards the girl.
As he was a businessman he wasn't that discriminative towards the Africans like the rest he even did business with them.
He believes that all humans are equal no matter the color or races so why the discrimination?
Why racism?
We are all humans so why should we be discriminating against ourselves?
' Perhaps it's true that everything happens for a reason my business trip to the country in Africa might be fated after all so well, let's just go with the flow. ' He thought as he closed his file and continued working.
Soon, he was completely buried in his work and didn't stop until his Assistant came knocking at the door and informed him that his Lunch had arrived.
