Chapter 13.
Malisa and little Mary went downstairs with the stairs and then Malisa began to observe her surroundings.
The Living room was very big and spacious, it was very clean and tidy to be honest the house looked like a Kings palace just that it looked better than the ones she had seen.
Hand in hand they both got to the Dinning table where their food had been served.
The dinning room consisted of a Semi long rectangular shaped table which had Three chairs on both sides and two head chairs.
As soon as they reached there they were Approached by a middle-aged man with two maids walking beside him.
They all bowed as they greeted the both of them. " Good day, Young Miss and Young Madam. "
Malisa at first was shocked by their greetings as she wasn't used to people greeting her not to talk of the respectful greeting but she was quick to understand what was going on.
" Hm. " Mary replied but Malisa just nodded in acknowledgement.
They both sat down side by side on the chair and uncovered the dishes.
There were three dishes in total.
The first one was Egg fried rice and Grilled chicken.
The second one was Filipino Noddles with pork and shrimp
The last one was stuffed cabbage rolls.
There were also different varieties of food on the Fruit tray.
All the food looked delicious and tasty that Malisa had an hard time choosing which one to eat.
As if noticing this little Mary spoke up, " um, Sis, I didn't Know what you'd like so I asked the kitchen to prepare three main dishes so you can just try everything in bits and see the one you like. "
" Alright, let me try out the stuffed Cabbage rolls then I'll go for the Filipino Noddles with pork and chicken next before I go for the rice and chicken as I already familiar with that already. "
" That's a good idea, actually my favorite one Is the stuffed Cabbage rolls. "
" Okay, "
" let's eat. "
" Yes, why don't we say a short prayer before we do? " Malisa suggested.
" Sure, Sis. " Mary replied as she closed her eyes.
The prayer lasted for Two minutes before they then started eating.
Meanwhile.
The maids who were watching them from the sidelines were whispering in hushed voices.
" Who do you think that dark-skinned girl is? " One said with disdain.
" I don't , perhaps she's a relative of Young Miss or her friend. "
" She can't be a relative, Don't you see her color? She's too dark. ''
" That's true but she can also be a Friend of hers too. "
" I know but why would She want to make friend with a dark girl? She's too dark and ugly! She reminds me of a black witch which gives me goosebumps. "
" I feel same too I wonder where they got her from? "
" I guess she's from Africa, I heard that there are lots of black monkeys there. "
" Africa? Is it the continent where there are lots of wide animals and deep forests? "
" Yes, I also heard that the temperature there is very high perhaps that's the reason for their skin color. "
" I think so too but still Young Miss shouldn't be making friends with someone like this! She's too ugly looking! "
" And who are you to say that Dark-skinned people are ugly? " Suddenly the voice of The Butler Rohit was heard and soon the maids looked up and were shocked to see his angry face.
" Why are you defending the Dark-skinned people? Do you...."
" Shut it! Just because you are light-skinned doesn't make you beautiful, it seems like you don't know that true beauty doesn't have to do with appearances or skin color but your heart and character, and that's what makes you beautiful so hold your tongue and quit talking about Dark-skinned people being ugly! "
" What do you mean? Are you trying to say that I am ugly? You better not because I know that I am a thousand times more beautiful than that dark-skinned girl! " The Sharp-toothed maid shot back.
" Oh? So you are beautiful? Why are you now Working as a maid then? Why didn't you become a prostitute instead? At least in that profession, your beauty will be well appreciated. " He shot back.
" You! How dare you say that to me? Aren't you a servant too? " She said angrily not realizing the change in the butler's expression.
" I guess some trash needs to be cleaned here, right Butler Rohit? " All of a sudden Mary's fairy-like voice echoed in the hall shocking the maids especially the one that was bad -mouthing dark-skinned people.
" I agree with you, Young Miss. " The butler replied respectfully.
" Hm, So where did we stop, Lyla? " She said smirking at the maid whose legs were already shaking in fear, Soon her legs gave way and she knelt on the ground as tears Streamed down her face.
" Am... Very Sorry, Young Miss" she stuttered in fear, They were very aware that the Young Miss was like a devil in disguise.
Though she often appears to be soft and easy going but when she gets angry she becomes the devil.
" Sorry? Did you just say the word Sorry? After Insulting My Sister-in-law and her race you say sorry? " Her words were like Thunderbolts and sharp Spears to everyone around.
' Sister-in-law? ' The maids and even the butler were completely shocked.
Does this mean that The Young lady in the dinning table will be their Young Madam soon?
' I am doomed! ' Lyla cried inwardly, how could she be so stupid to not have realized this fact, never have their Young Miss or sir brought a woman to the house but now they did.
But, but...
Satisfied with their reactions, Mary Smirked in delight.
From the moment she met Malisa she knew that latter was destined to be her Sister, if not sister-in-law and that was why she made sure that they were able to rescue her.
" Butler Rohit. "
" Young Miss. "
" I am sure you are aware of what you are to do now. " She said.
" I do, Miss. "
" Good. " Mary replied Simply and walked away.
But now, Lyla was already sweating buckets as she was aware of what the punishment would be.
She couldn't imagine being locked up in a dark room for 24hrs!
She didn't think that she'll be able to survive that!
Soon, the guards came in and dragged her out despite her protests.
Butler Rohit sent a warning glare to the others and they shivered in understanding.
They were aware of what the glare meant.

Malisa's POV.
The food was very delicious, I ended up eating more than I used to and now I realize that my mom wasn't the best cook in the world as she hadn't made something as delicious as this before.
I ate to my fill and when I looked up, I realized that Mary hadn't eaten much.
Our eyes suddenly met.
" Hey, you haven't ate much, why? " I asked.
" Well, I don't usually eat much, so well... But I see that you loved the food. "
" Yes, I do. " I admitted.
" Hm, Why don't you write down a list of food you like so the Cook would make them. "
" Alright, I'll. "
" Um..., I'll be back. " She said suddenly and she stood up, I was confused at first but when I saw her walking towards the kitchen I relaxed and just continued drinking the orange juice.
She came back five minutes later and when I asked her what happened she just shrugged and said that it was nothing serious.
[ A/N: Oh boy! Why did I make Mary's age Twelve years old? I am suddenly regretting it as I think that she's a little too mature or what do you guys think? ]
I didn't ask further and just continued sipping the drink while eating some fruits.

Malisa's POV.
Mary suggested that we should watch some movies to pass time after we finished our breakfast and I agreed.
She finally chose a Movie named Magnificent.
I was Suprised at first to see her chose the movie as I saw it as an old one as I had watched it on Princess Gabriella's laptop sometime ago.
" I didn't know that you are a fan or magnificent too. " I said.
" Oh, I am actually, I watched it about a year ago for the first time. " She replied.
" Oh, but why do you suggest we watch it now? "
" Actually this is the part two, it was just released a week ago. " She replied and I was shocked.
" Wow! So the ones we watched before was just the part one? "
" Yes. " She replied, Simply.
" Now let's start watching the award-winning movie! " She Announced as soon as movie started playing.
" Hm. " I replied as I concentrated on the movie.
Two hours Passed by in the blink of an eye and soon the movie ended.
" Wow! That was amazing! " She squealed.
" Yes, it was I am very impressed by the movie. "
" Same here, the part one taught me a great lesson that we shouldn't trust anyone casually just because we believe that they love us. "
" Yeah, I was also impressed by how nice the Fairy godmother was to little Princess Aurora despite her father's deceit. "
" Hm, Well, i personally think that Kids shouldn't have to pay for their parents sins. "
" Yeah but in the world we are today, it works in the opposite way. "
" True, I suddenly Realize that I am liking you more and more every moment, I think that we'll become world best sisters. "
" You dream very high but well we could be. "
" Yes! " She Exclaimed as she pounced on me as she hugged me tightly and I returned her hug.
For the first time I felt genuine love and care that I felt emotional.
I always felt that no one cares and no one will ever care and those that that are are just pretending to be but today I was proven wrong as I felt a genuine love.
Funny how I am getting it from a Stranger but I guess we aren't strangers anymore but on the road of becoming soul sisters.
And here starts the beginning of my new life in France Paris.
I hope I end up fulfilling my dreams and aspirations here and find the love I deserve.
