Chapter 27 Mud in the socks
Emily's POV
I'm sure you've heard of me. Certainly more from Jake. Well, let me introduce my self, I'm Emily. That's all. The rest you shall know later. Right now, I have something else to do. Something like teaching filthy bitches their place.
"Who are you?" I heard my victim ask. Oh how I love this feeling.
"Are you sure you want to know?" I asked. I Know she wanted to, but can she bear seeing me? The shock surely give her a mini heart attack.
"Fuck you bitch" Felicia yelled and I laughed. It's been a long time a tortured a fiesty one. Her eyes was blindfolded, with her hands and hand tied I'm front of her. By now, my finger prints were laced on her rough skin. I had giving her loads of slap.
"Repeat it again" I laughed as I chopped her toe. The aim was to De-feet her, if you know what I mean.
"Arrrgggggghhhhh" she screamed. "Stop it! I'll do whatever you want please!"
"I removed the dagger from her half cut toe. You'll do whatever I want?" I questioned.
"Yes" she whispered in a pain filled voice.
"Stay away from Jake!" I gritted it out.
"I'll do as you say, just let me go!" She begged.
Now that she was begging, it was no more fun. But I could still make use of this situation, I didn't capture just to let her go this easily.
"I will let you go on one simple condition"
"What is it?"
"Hurt Violet."
...
Violet's POV.
After hanging around my mum's house, I headed to Jake's house. I don't even have a place to call home anymore.
Anyway, here was Jake, sitting casually in the living room, Thomas by his side, playing the latest PS game we won during our honeymoon.
"Hey Violet," Thomas greeted me and I mumbled a hey out of courtesy. Don't get me wrong, Thomas was a really nice guy, but seeing him with Jake, I didn't feel like responding.
I looked at Jake who didn't even bother to acknowledge my presence before shaking my head and heading upstairs. So much for being Mrs Aloysius.
I got to my room and sprawled on my bed tiredly. I wriggled my toe in my white socks as i stared at the ceiling, with a hand at the back of my head serving as a pillow, then the other on my abdomen. `Safina` I muttered unknowingly. The name just sounded so familiar and homey, it rolled perfectly outta my tongue.
It didn't take long before my eyes started getting heavy and I succumbed to that darkness called sleep.
"How could you do that mum?, You know how much Alocaus means to me!" A female voice yelled.
"I had to do it for my people" Another female voice said softly as if trying to convince the other whom I assumed to be the daughter. I walked on the damp ground which had been beaten heavily by rain, to where the two female where to hear what they were saying better.
"So you prefer to kill my beloved in exchange for your selfish and greedy people, is that it?." The daughter spoke.
"Safina you know it's not like that!" The mother tried reasoning.
I got closer and I finally saw clearly the face of the two women. Safina looked exactly like me!
"Safina!" The woman yelled at Safina, who was now running away from her.
I was about to follow Safina, the girl who looked exactly like me, but then again, something else caught my attention.
"Hapoda!" Another female voice screamed. I stood there as I looked at the new person who arrived. I have come to understand by now that Safina and Hapoda are mother and daughter, but what was Emily doing here?!
"What do you want now Vakiba?" I heard Hapoda ask.
"What the hell did you do to Alocaus?" Vakiba seethed. I saw the emotion called hate take all of her expression. Everything was so real, from the facial expressions, down to how clear their voice was.
"Emily!" I called but I got no reply. The both of them didn't even look my way. I thought I called too lightly, so I yelled this time around, "Emily!" But still, no response.
"I'm sure you saw everything, why do you bother to ask?" Hapoda went on to reply Emily who in turn sneered. Was I invincible to the both of them?.
I walked towards them and intended to shove Emily but my hands just passed through her. It was like touching air.
"How dare you?" Emily said as red smoke started coming out from her hands.
"You don't want to start a fight now, do you Vakiba?" Hapoda asked and the smoke simmered down.
I was utterly appalled. I stood rooted there, in the middle of them both, yet none could see me. I tried touching them, but as you already know, it only passed through like air.
"I can not hurt you, but I'm sure the supreme God can. Wait until I get him to see what you've done!" Emily now Vakiba, turned and left the place.
Hapoda left as well. I assumed she was going to look for her daughter Safina, as she went in the direction Safina ran. I wanted to follow her, to know more about the girl that looked like me, but my leg refused to move, I stood rooted in one spot.
"Violet! Violet!" I snapped my eyes open. It was just a dream. I looked at Jake who was standing in front of me before I sprang right up. What was he doing in my room?.
"What sort of dream were you having that you're this drenched, nightmare?" Jake asked with one of his eyebrows raised in an inquisitive manner.
"None of your business. And what the hell are you doing in my room?. You didn't even bother to knock, how rude!" I spatted.
"I did knock wifey but you were so engrossed in your dream that you didn't hear me." Jake teased but my ears fell silent to every other thing except the 'wifey'. The guts of this man!.
"What do you want?" I asked finally. I didn't want to dwell on the wifey, I'm sure he said it just to get a reaction out of me. I was too tired to do that.
"We have a party to attend tonight." He said as he threw the invitation card on my bed. "The 396th anniversary of our pack is today and my father is holding a party at the pack house."
"Must I be there." I know I asked a stupid question, I'm the wife of the Alpha's son for the sake of the moon goddess.
"I'm sure I don't need to answer" Jake smirked, "I'm the future alpha of the pack so I need my date to be on her very best. You're not so beautiful, but I'm sure I can manage you."
"Get out!" I half yelled shooting him a glare.
"I will, but before I go I will like to remind you that my house isn't for pigs. Learn to wash your socks." Jake said and I looked down at my socks. It's was pure white just earlier when I laid down. How did it get soaked in mud?
"See you later wifey!" Jake smiled before closing the door. Why was he so chirpy today? And he said it again, "wifey."Download Novelah App
