"What are you doing here?" Lewis asked irritatedly.
What else does she want from me? I already broke up with Liam. She came closer to us.
"I came to visit a friend of mine," she snickers. "She isn't talking about me right?" I thought.
"Wow, I never knew you now make friends with people who aren't in high class. Lewis smirked, making her scoff.
"Lisa, don't tell me you are now dating Lewis, you broke up with his brother not long ago." Being with Lewis is supposed to not be her problem.
"The last time I checked, breaking up with my brother was none of your concern, it's between them." Lewis voiced my thoughts.
"Lewis, a little advice from me, it will be better if you and your brother stay away from her now so she doesn't make you fight with your brother."
"Whosever I make friends with shouldn't be any problem of yours. Princess, I will take my leave now. Breathing in the same air with her is making me furious." Lewis spoke out loud to her hearing and went back to his motorbike turning it on, he winked at me and drove off. He didn't even use his helmet. That guy does have nine lives.
I turned to Jina and walked toward her with the plan of walking past her. But, when I got to where she was standing she stopped me, dragging me back with my hair.
"Hey what the hell are you doing? I don't want to be in trouble with your mum this time. So it will be best you let go of my hair now." I snapped. She pushed me forward making me lose my balance.
"You bitch! If you don't leave Liam I will make sure the whole student knows you are a poor girl. Trust me they are going to make your life a living hell." She screeched.
I ignored her and used the opportunity to run into the house. Banging the door hard and quickly locking it. I won't want her to come inside.
I ran into my room and removed my uniform and jumped on my bed. Not long after I heard the bell ring.
Why is the witch still here?
I ignored it but it continued ringing and seriously it got me pissed. I left my room with the intention of teaching her some lesson but when I opened the door, I met Liam glaring bad at me. I wanted to close the door but he held it, not allowing me to.
He pushed his way in. "What the hell do you want from me?" I asked, annoyed. He is the reason why that witch is disturbing me.
"I was worried something happened, Mary told me you were not in school the whole day and also not with your phone." He mumbled. He is such a lovely guy even though I told him to stay away from me, he is worried about me.
"You can see I am fine now so you can leave," I muttered not looking at him.
But he scoffed at me and like he was annoyed at me.
"I brought your backpack, and the least you can do not to get us worried is to take your f**king phone with you." He snapped, making me shocked. I collected the bag from him and he immediately turned to the door and left. He must be mad at me.
I wanted to apologize for getting them worried, but I think the best is for me not to do it. So he doesn't think we are now on a good term. I was sad I couldn't even explain to him the reason for the break up.
My phone begins to buzz. I brought it out of my backpack and checked the caller only for me to see its mum calling. I still haven't forgotten about our clash this morning.
"Hi mum," I mumbled
"Baby, I'm sorry I won't be able to come home today. I have to meet someone so I will be home tomorrow. Make sure the door is locked before going to bed, and also you take your dinner. Bye sweetheart. Have a nice dream" She said, making me stunned." She said it all in a breath and hang up without allowing me to say anything.
I called her again but she didn't pick up even after calling more than three times.
Not long after my phone buzzed again, I checked to see if the caller was Mary, damn it I should have called her immediately. I got my bag from Liam.
"Yah! (Hey) why the hell did you leave the school again. The application form has been out since two days ago and you are yet to apply for it." She yelled as I picked the call.
"I am sorry, I wasn't organized so I decided it would be best not to come to the class," I explained slowly.
"And the best you can do because of the bi tch is to leave school and that not even one but two days in a roll." She said calmly this time.
"Fine, I will give you till tomorrow morning to get yourself back, I won't take any more shit from you again. Be ready on time, I will come pick you up." She said again waiting for me to give her a response but when she noticed I wasn't in the mood she wished me good night and hung up.
A WEEK LATER
A lot has been going on in my mind lately, my mum is becoming very suspicious like I feel she is hiding something from me, she hasn't been sleeping in the house since the day that message was sent to
her.
Jina also has been threatening me to not apply for the competition, I wonder why she suddenly doesn't want me to and my mum also, isn't helping at all. I needed my guardian to sign the form but mum isn't always home.
"There is Liam always ignoring me and acting as if I no longer exist. He talks to the girl except me. Mary has been pressing me to tell her what happened that day but I always avoid the topic.
I was still in thought when I felt someone hit me very hard making me snap out of my thoughts
"Hey! Why the hell did you hit me?" I screamed at the perpetrator. But, I was stunned to see the whole student in the cafeteria looking at me. Some were worried while some with funny faces. Okay, what just transpired within the moment my mind isn't here.
"I am sorry I need to do that to make you come back to us. We have been calling your name and tapping you continuously and you suddenly scared us," Jisoo explained, making me understand the reasons why I am getting the weird gazes.
I kind of felt embarrassed so I stood from the chair and excused myself, running to the class.
I walked very fast to class and I didn't see where I was going. I mistakenly tripped on something expecting to hit the ground, a few seconds passed and I noticed I wasn't hitting the ground. I opened my eyes to see Tae in holding me which prevented me from hitting the ground.
I hastily withdrew his hands from me and shifted back thanking him for saving me. I recall Liam telling me he isn't on good terms with him.
"I don't bite you know?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. But I didn't say anything.
"Liam must have told you bad things about me, seeing how you are avoiding me." He smirks. "I think I should take my leave now," I said trying to walk past him but he pulled me back to him making me lose my balance and hug him. I tried to push him away but his words stopped me.
"Trust me you don't want me to tell the whole school about your fake relationship with Liam or should I say," He rested his head on my shoulder making his breath fan my neck. "About your dad." He whispered, making my whole mind go blank.
Did he just talk about my dad? How the hell did he know that? I was speechless and couldn't say anything.
"You... were... the one who sent.... the mess..age.. to me." I stuttered, making him chuckle. He threw me a glance for some time and also looked behind me then winked at me and left.
I was curious about what he was looking at and also looked behind me to find Liam staring at us. From the angle he is standing he's going to think the both of us were hugging each other.
Damn it, he won't think I am friends with Tae in right? He looked at me one more time and also left. I wanted to run to him and tell him not to misunderstand what he just saw but I couldn't.

"Bye, Lis, and make sure you sleep on the right side of the bed today. I don't want you looking like a zombie tomorrow," Mary glaring at me, showing how serious she is with what she was telling me.
"Alright, Mary I will," I replied, having a fake smile on.
I got into the house and met mum in the living room, sitting on the couch in deep thought. "Mum," I called but she didn't give a response.
"Mum," I called a few more times but she didn't give a response. This time I went near her and jerked her again, making her jolt awake.
"Oh, sweetheart, you are home." She said putting on a smile that didn't get to her eyes.
"Mum, the hell I have been trying to get your attention for some time now and you didn't give a response. Is there anything bothering you mum?" I asked her praying she would open up but she didn't. She just said she's fine
"Mum, I am your daughter for goodness sake I know when you are not fine, in fact, mum you have been acting weird since the day you received that text message. And you know what mum I am done acting as if I know nothing, I have seen dad's picture in your room and yes mum I know he is a notorious drug dealer!" I cried out.
My mum stared at me with her mouth wide agape. "Lisa, what are you talking about? How did you even know all this?" She screamed in shock standing near me.
"Was it because my dad is a drug dealer that was why you told me he is dead? Like is he even dead or alive?" I wanted to get answers tonight.
"Lisa, relax dear it's nothing to be worried about, he is dead and won't come back into our lives. So please Sweetheart, don't let it disrupt your work in school." She said it made me relax a bit.
"How did you know about your dad being a drug dealer?" Mum asks. I wanted to tell her how but decided against it. I don't want her getting worried so I told her I had my ways. She didn't question me about it and I am grateful for that.
"Mum there is a favor I want to ask from you mum. Promise you are going to do it for me?"
"What is that?" She asked, getting serious.
"There is some sort of competition which is going to take place in our school and I need your signature on it to grant full permission," I said praying she doesn't get mad.
I brought out the form from my bag and handed it to her carefully. "Do you want to do this Lisa?" My mum asked with seriousness. The hell I have lived for this all my life.
"Of course mum I want this," I replied, grinning at her.
"Fine, my love." She said and signed it.
"I will make sure you win my child even if it's giving up life,"......
