I gasp after reading it, gaining the attention of the girls.
"Lis, are you okay?" Soo Min asked worriedly as they rushed to me.
"Of course she is, you can see how happy she is?" Mary said sarcastically.
"I think it would be better if she goes home," Trina spoke out for the first time.
"No, I won't, I became a student of this school because of my talent so nothing is going to make me leave. Let's go to the class," I said with my head high. The girls gaze at themselves to be sure of what they just heard.
My mum has always been scared since I was a kid, she doesn't want me mixing with the rich kids or having any issues with them. She wasn't happy with me attending this school. She even left me all in the name of protecting me. I am done staying under people's wings, I am done running away from my problems. It's time I face it.
I know this was posted by Tae in or Jina just to make me back off from this competition.
We got into the class and met it rowdy. The whole students were whispering to one another.
But the moment they saw us they stopped whatever thing they were saying.
I went to my desk but stopped when I saw what was written on it.
Letter x we're written all over it.
"Bloody commoner"
"Get the f*ck out of starlight high"
"B*tch pull out"
"You belong to the slum forever"
"I can't breathe in the same air as you"
"Get your miserable self outta the school"
"Go meet your miserable mum"
"You can't participate in the competition, you bloody liar"
Soo Min gasped behind me when she saw what was written on my desk.
"Who the hell did this?" Mary roared, I touched her and shook my head so she wouldn't do anything.
I breathe in and begin cleaning my desk with the handkerchief I was holding.
"What the f*ck are you doing? Leave the f**king desk. I am reporting this to the school authority." Mary yelled. The teacher came in not even asking what happened.
"Back to your seat Misses," she screamed, facing the board. I spread the handkerchief on the chair and sat on it. "No! Lis doesn't sit on it," but it was too late I already did.
Water came out from different directions pouring on me and next something sticky started dropping on my head, I touched my hair and smelled my hand, it was an egg. I screamed and the whole class burst into laughter.
"Kim Lalisa what sort of prank is that? And why the hell are you covered in that? The teacher shrieked. I couldn't give a response. I just ran out of the class and kept muttering " I won't cry," getting to the restroom my tears poured out. I couldn't contain them anymore.
"Lis, change your uniform, I am giving you five minutes to get yourself and meet me in class. Don't you dare cry for those b*tches." Mary started. A few seconds later I didn't hear them talk anymore. She must have left.
I wash my hair thoroughly before changing my uniform to the one given to me, it must be for Mary. I said so because of the uniqueness. I love its vanilla scent.
I squeezed my wet hair to make the water drop out, if I was at home I would have used the hairdryer. I packed my hair so it doesn't seem obvious it's wet.
Getting back to class, the teacher started the class already, I quietly walked into the class so I didn't distract her. Mary beckons for me to come to the back seat, but the witch sees it and uses that opportunity to open her mouth, gaining the teacher's attention.
"Kim, it will be better if you clean up your mess by sitting on it first, and stop distracting the class." the teacher said glaring at me now. Looks like I offended her in my former life because I see no reason for her to hate me when I don't even know her name.
"They caused the mess so they should be the one to clean it up," Mary spoke out. The teacher was about to say something again but was caught off by the witch.
"Mary, you act as if you don't know the rules of this school, we don't allow commoners in our midst, remember she is in this school because of me. I made her become the student of this school thinking she was a middle-class b*tch, only for me to find out she is just a bloody lying commoner. " She screeched.
The next thing I heard was a very loud slap, and another resounding slap making it two. When the hell did she get to Jina's desk?
The whole students gasp, standing with their phones, " How dare you low life call my name with your filthy mouth. You should thank your stars Lisa always forgives you for the thrash you do. Trust me, just a call would end you. F**king back to your businesses this doesn't look like entertainment." Mary yelled again making the whole students scurry to their seats.
Jina was speechless and ran out of the class. The teacher stared agape at Mary and couldn't say anything, Mary dragged me to the place she was sitting now, and the teacher continued the class as if nothing just happened.

After the class, I rushed out before Mary could know. I heard students making remarks about how a commoner is in their midst and how I make them sick. I ignored it and went to Liam's secret heaven knowing it will kind of make me relax.
When I got there I didn't meet Liam making me sad. I sat in front of the waterfall watching the beautiful sight humming a song. Then I heard my stomach rumbling, I forgot to eat the pizza Mary bought for me.
"Don't tell me you haven't taken anything since yesterday?" Liam asked behind, making me startled.
"I got here a few minutes ago, seeing you were enjoying the view. I thought it was best I don't disturb you. I am sorry I never meant to startle you" He said again.
"It's okay," I whispered to him. He must have heard what happened in the class. I thought. Making me embarrassed of myself.
"I brought some things for you to eat, you don't look that strong." He said sitting close to me and opening the bag he was holding.
Bringing out fried chicken and my favorite juice. I looked at him surprised.
"You bought just this?" I asked, putting on a disappointed face.
"I thought you wouldn't want to eat something heavy, let's go to a restaurant, or maybe I should order something," he said, confused, bringing his phone out.
"Ha! Just kidding, got you," I burst into laughter.
"It's not funny though, I was scared you would get mad at me." He muttered.
"Whatever," I said, taking a chicken and the juice.
"How did the meeting go?" I was suddenly curious about what his parents talked about.
"What meeting?" he asked, not looking at me but at the waterfall. I am pretty sure I have a scowl on my face now. Is he pretending not to know what I was saying?
"What is wrong, are you mad at me?" He asked with a surprised face.
"You want to keep pretending you don't know the meeting I am talking about?" I yelled now.
"I am serious, I don't... Oh... Wait, you are talking about the meeting with Kim?" He asked again.
"Never mind," I said annoyed.
"I didn't know you were talking about that because I wasn't present, I went out after talking with you," He said.
Wait, he wasn't present even after his mum begged him to be there?
"You were supposed to be present, your mum begged you," I whispered.
"Sorry to say, no offense but are you trying to tease or do you know nothing about that kind of meeting?" He asked seriously.
"The last time I checked, I am not from a rich family, remember?" He sighed.
"Me and Jina had a thing before, Jina has been bugging me to come back to her but I declined. And then suddenly her parents want to have a meeting with my parents with me also present. Solve the puzzle."
"Oh... You mean they want to talk about you guys get...ting....mar...ried. I thought it only happens in movies?" I laughed earning an annoyed look from Liam.
"It isn't funny," He said, annoyed. But, that didn't stop me from laughing.
"But, you can just tell them you are not interested in it. I am sure they are going to understand." I said
"Hmm, understand? My dad knows she is my girlfriend," he said.
"Thought your parents doesn't know about your relationship with her," I asked
"He doesn't until that little brat ratted me out, he knows about our relationship now, since it's going to be beneficial to him, so he might accept. He is a businessman."
"It's your life we are talking about here and not a business."
"He doesn't know we are no longer together. Besides, mum and dad had a contract marriage and now they are in love. So you should know he won't reject the proposal." He whispered.
"Explain to him, he should understand," I said again not getting the reason why this should be complicated.
"How about I introduced the person I am in love with to them." He said again smiling at me.
"Yah! Don't you dare do something stupid," I said now glaring at him.
"Relax love, I won't till you agree to be mine," he whispered, taking both my hands and kissing them. I felt butterflies in my tummy, I am happy he wants to wait for me till I agree.
"Whatever," I said, concentrating on my chicken.
"Jina is such a b*tch you know," I said again trying to get his attention.
"You now use curse words, I need to warn Mary about that." He said frowning now looking at me. "So, love, why do you think she is a bitch?"
Yay, this is the second time he is calling me that.
I was about to explain what happened when his phone rang, "I am sorry beauty, I need to take this," he said before picking up his call.
"What the f**k, why am I just hearing about it?" He growled.....
