CHAPTER 33

LISA'S POV
I called my mum on and on but she wasn't picking up. How the hell did she want me to live in the house all alone?
Then it dawned on me that my mum was gone and she left me all alone. But, why? What the hell is she protecting me from? Why does she think leaving only me to live in this house was the best.
I went to my mum's room. It still smelt of her. I dropped my bag on the ground, sleeping on her bed, and remembered our event together. I miss my mum already. I couldn't hold it anymore. I cried and cried till I slept off.
_______________
The bell continues ringings
The banging of the door increases.
But no one was answering them. I just sit by the door with my back resting against the door. It has been a routine for them to knock and knock begging me to come out of the house but all I do is ignore them no matter what they say.
"Lisa if you don't open this f**king door now I will break it. I am giving you just a minute to open the door." Liam yelled.
"Mary for goodness sake open the door so we can at least see you and be sure you are not dead."
"Trina!" They all yelled.
"What, we need to be sure." She said again.
"Get the f**k outta here," Liam growled.
"I don't think she is going to open the door any minute, common guys come to break the door," I heard Mary say. Want thing I know is that Mary doesn't joke, I know she going to do it I rushed toward the door opening It wide open but moved out of the way when I saw three guys running towards my direction.
It was too late for them to stop. They all run inside, funnily falling in each other, making me laugh.
I looked at the girls and saw my girlfriends standing in front of the door including all the guys.
I haven't laughed for like three days now since my mum left. At first, I thought It was a joke. I waited for her to come the next day but she didn't. I called her but it kept directing me to voicemail.
"Damn it, Lis you look like a girl pick from a thrash, thrown out a month ago," Trina said making me look down at the clothes I was putting on I was still in the same clothes I wore to Mary's mansion, for practice the same clothes my mum hugged me before I left for the mansion.
"Hmm you can go wash up we will help in cleaning here," Liam said
"I don't feel like doing so, I only opened the door because I don't have the cash to repair my door if you guys break it. Now you all see I am fine you can now leave." I tried to push them but I didn't have the strength.
I felt someone pull my hands forward telling me to show her my room. I wanted to decline but didn't have the strength to do it. So, I followed her quietly. My house isn't that big so she could easily find my room.
"We got to my room and she pushed me inside the bathroom telling me not to dare come out of the bathroom if I didn't wash up.
I took off my clothes and had a thorough bath, washing every single part of my body including my hair. I brushed my teeth also.
When I was sure I now smell nice I came out of the bathroom throwing my previous clothes I put on, in the laundry basket.
I put on another dress and felt fresh, I went to the living room and was met with different kinds of my favorite dishes on the dining table making me gasp out loud.
"When did you guys arrange for these?" I asked shocked.
"That should be for us to know and you to figure out. Come have some food Lis, he said these are your favorite," Trima said pointing at Liam.
"Thanks, a lot for these but I am going to pass," I said again, making their smiles drop.
"Princess, the heck you look damn skinny and you still don't want to eat," Lewis asked irritatedly.
"Don't you guys get it, my mum left and you expect me to eat. She left a letter saying that was the only way she could protect me, what if she was kidnapped and was forced to write that down so I hate her? What if she isn't in a good condition right now? What if... What if....." I couldn't continue. I busted into another pile of tears. The girls ran to me hugging me and trying to calm me down saying everything is going to be okay.
"Lis, everything is going to be fine, trust us we will find your mum," Mary said sadly.
"But, if you want to find your mum you need to eat so you can get the strength to do so," Trina said again.
"But," I wanted to say but Mary stopped me from saying anything.
"No, but Lis, we are going to find your mum even though she left but first come eat." She said pulling me up the boys were also having a worried look on.
"Thanks a lot, pals. I appreciate you guys. "It's nothing Lis," they all replied.
I am such a lucky girl to have these wonderful friends. They spent the whole day with me before going to their various houses. Mary didn't want to leave she was scared I might do something stupid. I needed to promise her I won't before she finally agreed to leave.
They left and everywhere became silent again. I stood right in the middle of the living and recalled when my mum would scream at me to come to have my breakfast, how she would be mad at me when I fought with the kids in the neighborhood.
I was still in deep thoughts when I heard the doorbell ring. Who was it? I never expected any more people. With fear, I went to the kitchen to get something to protect myself if it was a thief. I went to the kitchen and took out the first thing my hand touched.
I went back to the living room and was about to go to the door only to be stopped by a phone buzzing.
I ran to my phone and saw Liam's name displayed on my phone making me happy, I picked it up with the intention of telling him what is happening in my house now but it was cut short.
"Open the damn door now beauty," Liam yelled through the phone.
I ran to the door and opened it,
"What the hell are you still doing here? Thought you left already."
"Thanks for the great welcome beauty," he replied as he came inside going to the living room. He went to the couch and sat on it, he touched it and bounced on it a few times before laying on it.
"What the hell are you doing," I let out making him know I was confused about what the hell was happening.
"I am having the night here beauty, I still don't trust you will go to sleep so, I will need to watch over you'' he said again.
"My mum, think it would be nice for you to come live in the mansion for the time being. But I know you are going to disagree and I still don't trust you being alone.
"I never did anything stupid when I was on alone," I replied.
"Hmmm, that doesn't change the fact I am sleeping here, the few days I didn't see you have been kind of hectic for me." He said, closing his eyes.
Nothing was changing his mind about having the night here, so I went to get a blanket in my mum's room so he could use it to cover up.
______________
Knock knock.....
"It's time for school beauty," Liam kept knocking on the door. I rolled over on my bed groaning, I couldn't sleep much.
"Fine, I'm up," I said, getting tired of his continuous knocking. He never spent the night here again.
I went into the bathroom to do my routine. I put on my uniform and went to the living room where I met Mary and the guys. The hell am I now a baby who they need to drag to school?
"Good morning Lis, how was your night?" Mary asked, walking up to me.
"It wasn't great Mary, I am never allowing him to spend the night here ever again," I mumbled.
"He went home already, you know he needs to change," Mary said, which kind of made me feel down. I was happy he would be the one to take me to school but, now the happiness has been cut short.
"So he is going to school from the mansion?" I asked again, making Mary have a mocking smile.
"Thought, you didn't like the idea of him spending the night here,"
"I don't think we have much time we need to hurry up," Chris said
"We are not going in a car so why wait if you don't want to be late?" Mary asked, irritated, making Chris speechless. He just stared at her and sat back on the couch. I knew it. Chris has a crush on her. But, Mary being the ignorant witch knows nothing about his feelings.
"Let's leave for school. I don't eat breakfast that much," I said again, recalling the way mum is going to force me to have my breakfast before leaving for school.
"You sure? I brought pizza with me." Mary asked again, raising the bag I didn't notice she was holding.
"That's nice we can take that with us, I will eat it in the car," I told her while walking out.
"You may all come out now," I said, giving them the look of ``don't you dare question me.
"You seem to be going back to being you, yeah that's the spirit.' Lewis said walking out and going to his bike.
The hell! These kids were crazy, they all brought their car each except Lewis who came with his bike. He isn't a fan of cars. He loves bikes a lot.
"You guys are all crazy," I said.
"Why?" Mary asked with a confused expression.
"You guys can just come in a car, why give a grand welcome?" I asked them to push them out and lock my door.
"Whatever, I don't share my things, Lewis hates it when someone gets on his bike while Chris and Woo Bin tagged along because their best friend is here." She explained as we walked where her car was parked making me just stare at her.
"Lewis hates it when someone gets on his bike?" I asked to be sure of what I just heard.
"Yup,"
"Princess, you don't want to be late for class," Lewis said beside me, making me startled. When he got here thought he was on his bike. I glared at him but he pulled me toward him.
"Not a word about me allowing you on my bike to anyone." He whispered and pushed me back putting his both hands on my shoulder winking at me then went climbing his bike.
"Wait, what just happened?" Woo Bin stared at us stunned.
"And we are late, you all meet me in school," Chris said, getting into his car and zooming off.
We also got into the car and drove to school.
______________
"What is with everyone giving me those weird looks," I voiced out when I couldn't stand it anymore.
"Thought I was the only one who noticed it," Mary replied. I ignored it and we both went to our lockers to take our books.
Then I saw Trina and Soo min running towards Mary, they didn't see me standing close to my locker.
"What got your ass so worked up?" Mary asked sassily.
"Have you checked the school site?" Soo min asked.
"Nah, is there anything wrong?" Mary asked to bring out her phone. I also got curious and took out my phone to check what she was talking about.
"Guess what! Kim Lalisa is not even a middle-class girl like everyone thinks, she is a girl from the slum, and her mum is just a maid. We can't accept a commoner going to the same school as us. So we are going to give a trend.
