"I love you too, Clause. I will not leave, I will stay and continue being your mate and Luna." Fay said as she looked back into his eyes.
Alpha Clause leaned his head closer to hers as the pain and sadness in his eyes washed away, and happiness and relief replaced them. Her own sadness was gone as she saw his lips lift up into a smile. He glanced at her lips as he moved in to kiss them.
As he pulled back from kissing her, he said, "I am going to kick Brittany out because of her cunning behavior."
She nodded, and he stepped back from her then wrapped one arm around her. He looked to the door and used his Alpha voice that commanded all his pack members to do as he said. "Brittany, come here."
He didn't yell, but uttered the words calmly, but with her werewolf's hearing, she heard him. Brittany appeared in the doorway in a few minutes, looking smug, but her face fell when she saw his arm wrapped around Fay's waist. "Yes, Alpha."
"Pack your things and leave this house. If you try anything like this again, I will be kicking you off the pack."
Brittany's face turned shocked, distressed and angry as she looked between him and Fay, "Alpha, please give me another chance. I will not make the same mistake again, I will be on my best behavior. I promise."
"What you have done is unforgivable. You tried to come between your Alpha and Luna which would tear the pack apart. You are selfish and cunning, Brittany, and we do not tolerate such behavior in this pack." Alpha Clause said to her in a hard voice as he looked sternly at her.
Brittany's eyes started filling with tears, but they didn't spill as she fell to her knees and bowed her head. "I am sorry, Alpha and Luna. Please forgive me, I will change my behavior."
Beta Connor appeared in the doorway right then and quickly fell to his knees beside Brittany. He must have also heard Alpha Clause call Brittany and came to her rescue like he did every time. He bowed his head too, "Please forgive her, Alpha and Luna. Give her another chance, she will change and I will make sure of it."
Fay didn't like Beta Connor's interference, but since he was also begging for Brittany to stay, they should grant his wish. However, if she messed up again, he will also bear the consequences. Fay sighed, "We should give her another chance since Beta Connor interfered."
Alpha Clause glanced at her, and his gaze softened, she nodded at him to show that she was truly alright with it. He turned back to Brittany and Beta Connor who were still kneeling on the floor. "Fine, you have another chance, but if you do this again, I will be kicking both you and Beta Connor from the pack."
Brittany looked up as relief washed over her features, but she still looked bitterly at Fay, "Thank you, Alpha and Luna. I will be on my best behavior."
"Thank you, Alpha and Luna." Beta Connor added, still looking at the floor, and looked to be avoiding Alpha Clause's eyes. He knew that he would question him on why he was always defending Brittany even when she was wrong.
"You are dismissed." Alpha Clause said to them, and Beta Connor quickly stood up, taking Brittany's arm to pull her up.
After they left the room, Fay turned to Alpha Clause, "Is there something going on between the two of them?"
He faced her, looking sure as he said, "I believe so because they have been awfully close since the mating ceremony last year. Connor denied it when I asked him, and Brittany kept acting like she didn't like him."
"But it's obvious that there is something going on between them." Fay concluded, and he replied, "Yes."
"Let's not talk about them, but about us." He started as he wrapped his arms around her waist and looked into her eyes. "I want to make up for what happened this morning. Would you like to go on a date with me?"
Her lips curled up in a smile as she stared back into his eyes, "Of course, I would love too. But what are we doing for the date?"
His own lips curved up into a smile, "How does a movie with snacks sound to you?"
"It sounds great, what time are we going out?"
"We are not going out, we are going to the cinema inside the mansion."
His words surprised her as her eyes widened in shock and excitement, "You have a cinema inside your house?"
He chuckled at her surprise and excitement, "Yes, a games room and more. I had to make sure that any pack member that lives here enjoys it when I had the building remodeled."
"Wow! You are such a great leader. I know that you don't even have time for all these indoor and outdoor fun, yet you made them for your pack."
"Thank you, Fay. You are a great leader as well." He complimented her as well then raised one hand and brushed it through her hair. "I can never imagine being without you. I want you to always stay by my side no matter what, promise me, my one."
She nodded, looking back into his concerned eyes. "I can never be without you either. I promise to never leave you no matter what, my love."
He drew in a breath and let it go as his concern faded away. He moved his head closer to hers until their foreheads met and he closed his eyes. She closed her eyes as well as he moved his hand from her hair to the side of her face. He leaned back and opened his eyes.
Fay also opened her eyes when she felt him move back. She saw that his eyes were now amber in color which showed that his wolf was on the surface.
