Fay pulled back from the kiss and they both breathed heavily again, staring at each other. She unwrapped her legs from around Alpha Clause and stood against him because he didn't let go of her waist as he continued staring into her eyes.
His voice sounded huskier as he said, "Let's go back to our room and come back later for the movie."
"Okay." She squeaked from her breaths coming in short pants.
He released her waist and took her hand. She interlaced their fingers and he led her up the steps to the door then around the mansion to their room.
The next day, Alpha Clause was in his sturdy, attending to pack matters while Fay was sitting on the grass with Bailey in the garden. They were watching Ron and Riley play fight in wolf form. Ron had asked for a rematch since he didn't agree that Riley won on the night of their wedding. They had asked Fay to be their judge and she had willingly agreed then asked Bailey to join her.
Riley's small, brown wolf yipped and ran forward. Ron's smaller dark brown one ran at her too and their heads butted. He raised on his hind legs and fell on her. They both rolled on the ground, growling as they both tried to win the fight.
Fay laughed as she watched them, but her laugh was cut short when she saw a large, rogue wolf jump over the fence and land in the garden. Nine more jumped over, and they were all growling, looking feral and out of control. All rogue wolves were with Alpha Ross.
He had been part of the Lycan rulers of their lands before he went rogue and started eating people and even werewolves. He did whatever crime he wanted without any consequences, and he was banned from their lands. However, now, it seems that he has returned to the land, and has sent these few rogues to attack them.
She quickly stood up and Bailey did the same. Ron and Riley looked terrified even in wolf form. They hung their heads as they started stepping back. Fay ran to Ron and Riley, "Run inside and tell Alpha Clause, Beta Connor and other fighters."
They yipped in fear and quickly ran inside. They shifted into human form as they entered through the open door. Fay looked back at the ten rogue wolves, growling at them with their sharp teeth as they carefully approached. Bailey glanced at her, looking scared, "What do we do?"
She glanced at her, "We fight before the others come."
"We are only two." Bailey said, looking more scared.
"Go back in if you can't do it. I will fight them." Fay said and started transforming into a wolf while Bailey stood shocked. Fur sprouted on her skin as her claws grew and her teeth turned sharp. Her head and body elongated to shift her into a wolf.
Her white fur shone bright as she growled at the approaching wolves. She glanced at Bailey to make sure that she had gone in to see that she had already turned into her brown wolf. Fay ran to the rogues and jumped on one. She clamped her sharp teeth around his neck and it howled. Another rogue bit her hind leg, making her let go of the other wolf.
The other wolf laid down on the ground, exhausted. She growled at the wolf still clamping onto her hind leg when two other wolves landed in front of her. They growled as they prepared to pounce on her. But the largest amber wolf that Fay had ever seen ran into them from the side with his head and they fell down. It was Alpha Clause's wolf.
He growled very deeply and turned to the wolf, still biting her hind leg. He pounced on him and clamped his teeth around his neck. The wolf immediately slumped down, lifeless and finally letting go of Fay's leg. She couldn't stand up and she could see the worry in his wolf's amber eyes as he looked at her bleeding hind leg. She could feel the immense pain, but she held it in.
Alpha Clause looked into her eyes, as if saying that he will be right back. He turned around to the two wolves that he had ran over to the ground to see that they were already up. They both ran towards him, baring sharp teeth, and he met them with even more fierceness. They started fighting and Fay glanced around to see that other wolves had come out to fight too.
Each of them was fighting one rogue wolf while Alpha Clause took on two. She turned back to him to see that he had transformed into his lycan form. It was larger and scarier. One of the wolves he was fighting ran to him and he held out one hand. Just like that, he had his hand around the wolf's neck and he raised it up until its legs dangled in the air.
The other wolf he was fighting bared its teeth, ready to bite him, but Alpha Clause extended his claws and swiped it at the wolf's furry abdomen. It fell down dead, and he looked back at the wolf in his hand. He slammed it down on the ground and she could hear the sound of its skull smashing as it hit the ground.
Another rogue wolf came running towards Fay as it saw that she was wounded. It jumped on her and she growled as its sharp teeth were in her face. It brought its head down to bite her with its sharp teeth, but she was faster. She opened her mouth and clamped her teeth around its furry neck. It howled in pain and writhed to get her off.
It was hard to keep her mouth around it while it kept moving around. She was about to let it go when she saw Alpha Clause's claws swipe at the wolf's furry abdom
