It was an hilarious moment, and the three friends enjoyed the evening all the same together, at their arrival to the camp the first night. Prieto asked if they will need water or other kind of soft drink, to wet up their dry lungs from the heat of the blunt. "That will be nice if you can", Larry responded. Prieto said okay! Why don't we take a walk to the refreshments center?", Prieto suggested.
The two brothers said why not, then the three of them took a walk to the place, to order for another bottle of cold soft drinks, as they choose. This time they change their drinks to pepsi. Prieto paid the guy selling the drink, at a little stone throw away from the woman selling food. They took their bottle each in their hands, and walked back to where they were earlier. They sat on a pave, as they drank the Pepsi to quench their taste. Lucky changed the talks they were on to the possible outcomes that will be happening the next day, as regards their registration to the camp.
Prieto interrupted, " I suggest we find a way to locate the administration block, as our first priority by tomorrow so we can know the way forward, in our placement. "Anyway, the registration might be challenging considering the numbers of corpers that will be on the queue up, for the process". Larry added to the convo. "We sure do have other new arrival you know", Lucky said. "Anyway, we should just be prepared to work things through, as the process demands".
The three of them concur in a moment of silence, as regards to what Lucky said. Their eyes were roaming about the camp premises at the night. The numbers of people were diminishing, around the premises, as the night calls. They decided to work back to the hall they dropped their belongings, so they could face the next day with their plans on course. They pulled along their way to the hall, still drinking from the bottle of Pepsi they were holding. They did not talk to themselves while walking back to the place.
They probably might be ruminating on their line of agenda tomorrow, expecting any possible outcomes their service will be demanding. On getting to the hall, the state of the light was still what it was, dim. They only discovered that some other people were inside the place, taking a position at various angles in the hall sleeping. Without hesitation, on checking the time at 12:45pm Prieto went to where he kept his bag, it's was assuredly intact.
He felt relaxed, looking at the people that were sleeping already with their blanket and cover items, is enough to have feelings that his belongings wasn't save. Anyway he was happy that his bag wasn't tampered with. Prieto looked at where Lucky and Larry was, they already layed down on the bare floor with their underlay. The two of them streched helplessly, on the hall ground tired. Prieto wanted to laugh at them, but he took a discretion in controlling himself, so he doesn't cause unnecessary noise. He just took a wrapper from his bag, he dusted off the ground and spread the wrapper on the hall floor, and used his bag as a pillow.
Prieto layed on the clothing material and slept off. Sleeping through the night at the hall floor wasn't too convenient, but Prieto had to force himself to lay, hoping to find the right placement for himself by the next day, after registration. That was the hope he and the rest of the new arrivals in the hall, had to hang on. So they all slept in there through the night against the next day. Larry and Lucky never minded the complexity, as regards passing the night in the hall, as they were both fast asleep.
For Prieto reverse was the case, as he kept struggling with getting his mind close into the peace line world of slumber. The hurdles with getting a good sleep, remained a tussle over the night. Some other new arrival were as well finding it difficult getting their sleep, so they were either fondling with their phone, or reading a particular book that is soothing their interest. The night drifted with them in an unconducive air, they had to stay in which ever way appealing to them, to watch the moment of the unpalatable night passby.
Prieto managed to wake up from an half baked slumber he had to check the time, it's almost 5clkam in the morning. Wiping the cold off his eyes, he struggled to get up from the spreaded clothe he placed on the ground floor. He looked the other way to see his two friends Lucky and Larry, who were sleeping some distance apart from him in the hall. It's was surprising for him to discovered that, the both of them were still drown in the realm of slumber, from the moment they layed on the floor to sleep after the meal they had.
Nevertheless, he suggested they must have had a real good challenging journey, while finding their way to the camp. Larry was sleeping beside Lucky still snoring at the break of dawn. Prieto sat right on the ground, with his back leaning against the wall for a support. He saw several new arrival like them already awake, few more were still sleeping on the spot they position to lay, over the night. Prieto managed to get up, so he could see other occuring things at the outside region of the hall, At this time it was exactly 7clkam in the morning.
When he got outside, he saw more people already awake, and they were all outside either making calls to their relatives, and friends on their arrival to the camp. Soon enough, when the time clocked 8clk an official from the administration block, was sent to inform the new arrival to report to the main camp ground by 10clk. They had to extend the timing to the camp ground, for the need of those that will want to have their bath, and freshing up to do at the spacing of the few hours. Prieto needed to have his bath, so he went back to the hall to get things from his bag, on getting inside he saw Lucky and Larry already woken up, they were both sitting on the ground with their back, leaning to the close by wall where they slept over night. Hey guys! "good morning bro", Lucky said with Larry. "Good morning to you two, Prieto responded. "I hope the night wasn't too hectic?", having a fair share of experience sleeping on bare floor".
The two brothers started laughing, knowing they had no choice but to rest their heads through the night, to muster the strength to face the next day.
