Chapter 246: The CEO’s Bedroom Rumors

Chapter 246: The CEO’s Bedroom Rumors
Then she turned to Toan Phuong and said, "I’m going to the spa, hubby."
Though she said it politely enough, she didn’t even look up at him, which made Toan Phuong feel even more uneasy. Something definitely felt off.
He nodded. "Come back before lunch so we can eat together, okay?"
She nodded and left with Huong Tra.
Inside the taxi, Huong Tra asked, "What’s up? Addicted to spas now?"
"Not addicted," Kieu Ly replied. "Today I’m going to ask one of the staff to teach me head and face massage techniques."
"You just learned foot massage and now you want to level up again? Your husband must’ve loved it last night, huh?"
That comment made Kieu Ly feel even more frustrated. She’d put in so much effort—but it had all gone to waste. After convincing him for ages, she’d barely begun the massage before things escalated and they ended up in bed. All her hard work, undone in an instant. She didn’t want to accept that kind of failure. That’s why today, she chose to learn head and face massage—something that could relieve stress without waking that part of him.
She sighed. "It was a failure. I want to redeem myself."
Huong Tra had personally seen the effects of Kieu Ly’s massages, so she couldn’t believe Kieu Ly had actually failed. But looking at her friend’s downcast face, it was hard to argue. She shuddered slightly—she had a feeling she was about to be the test subject again.
Back at the office, Toan Phuong sat at his desk, still confused. He was pretty sure Kieu Ly was upset about something, but for the life of him, he didn’t know what it was. In the end, he decided to apologize—better safe than sorry. He opened Teams and sent her a message:
“Babe.”
“I’m sorry ”
“Did I do something wrong last night? Is that why you’re upset?”
“If you’re mad at me, just say it. I’ll fix it, okay?”
A moment later, she replied:
“Nope.”
Only... the one who replied wasn't Kieu Ly—it was Nguyen Toan Phong, Toan Phuong’s father.
Panicked, Toan Phuong quickly checked his phone, only to realize he'd sent the message to the wrong group chat. He was currently only part of a few work-related groups: senior leadership, all employees on the 18th floor, the IT project group, and department heads. And somehow, he’d accidentally sent the message to the IT group.
Flushed with embarrassment, he rushed to delete it—but it was too late. A few people had already seen it. Worse, someone had even taken a screenshot. Among them was Quang Dang.
In the IT department, whispers began spreading like wildfire. Suppressed chuckles turned into stifled laughter.
"I knew the CEO was whipped, but this whipped? Damn."
"He’s tall and handsome, but sounds like he's... underperforming in bed. Guess us average guys win after all."
"Can’t have it all. Maybe for his next birthday, we should pitch in and buy him some Viagra. Hahaha."
"Keep your voice down, dude. If the CEO hears, we’ll all be unemployed."
Quang Dang, of course, shared the screenshot with a few close buddies—and, naturally, sent it to Huong Tra with a cheeky note:
“Hey sis Tra, rumor has it our CEO can’t satisfy his wife—she’s mad at him because he’s too weak!”
=)) =)) =))
Huong Tra almost fell out of her chair laughing. Still, she had no intention of defending the little troublemaker. She replied:
“You sure know a lot for someone who's not even married. Careful, you might be worse off than the CEO!”
“It’s not me—it’s just the guys in the office gossiping! Haha!”
Seeing Huong Tra laugh so hard she could barely hold her phone, Kieu Ly looked over, puzzled.
"You short-circuited or something? Why are you laughing like that?"
Still snorting with laughter, Huong Tra passed her phone over with trembling hands, showing the infamous screenshot.
"The IT department is going wild—they’re saying your husband’s too weak to satisfy you, so you’re mad at him."
Kieu Ly read the messages and instantly flushed red. Her whole face burned. She didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. She felt embarrassed for herself and for her husband.
Huong Tra couldn’t stop. She was doubled over, wiping away tears.
"This is too much—I’m dying! I can’t breathe!"
Kieu Ly sat beside her, speechless, feeling like the ground should just open up and swallow her whole. In a panic, she sent the screenshot to Toan Phuong, adding a crying emoji:
“I’m not mad at you, okay?”
“You sent it to the wrong group.”
Toan Phuong hadn't realized someone had taken a screenshot. But what was done was done—there was no taking it back.
Still, he had no idea rumors were already flying around behind his back that he was... "underperforming."
He replied with a smile and a kissing emoji:
“I noticed and deleted it right away.”
“As long as you’re not mad, I’m good.”
“Have fun out there, sweetheart!”
