Chapter 245: A Rainy Night
When the kiss finally ended, Kieu Ly remembered the foot soak had run its course. She slipped out of his arms, sat back down on the floor, gently lifted his foot from the basin, and wiped it clean with a towel.
“Lie down so I can start,” she said with a smile.
Toan Phuong obeyed, lying back on the bed to relax. Kieu Ly spread a towel beneath his feet and began to massage them gently.
Toan Phuong truly hadn’t expected that, after just one short lesson, Kieu Ly would already be this skilled at massage. As she worked, she said softly:
"If you ever want a massage in the future, just ask me. No need to visit any spa full of pretty young girls with long legs."
Toan Phuong shook his head, helplessly amused. In his eyes, no one could ever compare to Kieu Ly.
"Why worry about things like that? None of them could ever be as beautiful as you."
"Better safe than sorry," she replied playfully. "I don’t want you to be tempted. I’ll learn how to massage your head and face too—take full care of you."
Toan Phuong lay on the bed, fully relaxed. Honestly, he felt like royalty—pampered beyond imagination.
But as Kieu Ly applied pressure to certain acupressure points on his feet, something... stirred. That something started rising insistently, stretching against the fabric of his pants, demanding attention. Kieu Ly paused, eyes fixed on the obvious situation.
Embarrassed, Toan Phuong chuckled:
"Now what? There’s no way you’ll be able to finish at this rate. Maybe... we should take care of that first?"
Without a word, Kieu Ly climbed off the bed, washed her hands in the basin, then quietly returned. Reaching under, her fingers slid beneath the waistband with practiced ease. Now that she had proper massage techniques, she was confident she could soothe it to sleep. After all, they had been at it nearly until dawn the night before. She knew his body must still be tired. If she could lull that part of him into resting, she could finish the massage and they could sleep—no fuss.
But before she could continue, Toan Phuong gently caught her hand.
"No," he said firmly. "That way, it ends too quickly. I want you to enjoy it too."
With that, he shifted, pressing her down into the bed.
Kieu Ly still couldn’t understand how someone so seemingly ordinary could have such an... intense appetite. But he was her husband—there was no backing out. Still, she managed a teasing reminder:
"We didn’t close the door. What if the neighbors see something?"
Toan Phuong quickly slipped out of bed, turned off the lights, and returned. In the dim glow, he slipped the thin nightdress from her body, his kisses trailing from her face to her neck to her chest. Between kisses, he whispered against her skin:
"I love you so much, Hoang Kieu Ly."
Outside, the rain still fell steadily. Cool gusts of wind drifted in through the windows, carrying the scent of rain—but even the night breeze couldn’t cool the two burning bodies tangled together in the dark. And then, as naturally as breathing, their love ignited once more.
On Thursday morning, the sky cleared after the rain, and the sun blazed down even more fiercely. Toan Phuong held Kieu Ly’s hand as they walked up to the office. Throughout the entire walk, she didn’t say a word. She didn’t pull her hand away, nor did she avoid his occasional hugs or kisses—but the silence made it feel like a cold war. Yet, it also didn’t.
Toan Phuong couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Why was Kieu Ly suddenly so quiet? Sure, maybe he’d gotten a little carried away the night before—three rounds in one evening—but they’d started early, and were already asleep by 11 p.m. When they woke up, she hadn’t said anything, just quietly cleaned up the basin of water they’d left out from the night before.
When they arrived at the office, Kieu Ly didn’t even put down her handbag. Instead, she turned to Huong Tra:
"Tra, let’s go to the spa."
Huong Tra stared at her, mouth agape. "Didn’t we just go to the spa yesterday? You’re going again? What happened last night? You overworked yourself again?"
As she asked, Huong Tra glanced at Toan Phuong. He just chuckled.
Kieu Ly frowned, giving her friend a mild scolding. "That’s all you ever think about."Download Novelah App
