“Enough Carter! You killed innocent people, you murdered Children!“ Trina yelled at him
“I did, of course, I did, if I don't, do you think someone else wouldn't? And they would be more brutal than mine. Arrest me, if you want to… here! I surrender, you can put the handcuffs on now.“ He said, backing her with his hand behind his head.
“Do you know you are going to be sentenced to death because of your horrendous act?“
“Is that what you want?“ Trina added
“Yes, I do know. I also know that I'll be dead before the sentence arrive, a result of going against their command.“ He strained his neck to look at Decker. “Hey, take care of her, you know what I mean.“ he said to him, just then his veins popped up as dark green veins formed a discontinuous map on his body as they spread quickly. He groaned as he fell to his knees using his hand for support not to fall to the ground. Others rushed to him as they called his name.
“Don't come close” he struggled and managed to say and they backed out.
Renetha sat on her throne with a wicked smile, with her finger up in the air as she moved it to and fro occasionally before she stopped with a wicked laugh and said, “I made you and I'm going to take my gift away from you leaving you broken than you was before I had pity on you!“
The veins went up to his head as he faced the sky groaning loudly. “This should be his punishment for his sins!“ He thought before he fell flat on the ground as life left his body and he became lifeless…
Sheriff Trina rushed towards him and tapped him, calling his name repeatedly, Decker shook his head and called the ambulance.
“Call the ambulance!“ Trina ordered Decker
“I already did!“ He said to her, no doubt she still cares about him. Just then, Christy, Cassie and Chloe arrived at the scene.
“What happened?“ Cassie asked as she saw her mum kneeling beside Carter's lifeless body, and she stood up and she stepped aside for her daughter.
“How did he die?“ She asked again and Sarah walked up to her and side-hugged her, telling her it was alright. As much as she thought she despised her Dad, she doesn't think she wants him dead, it would have been better if he had lived to pay for his deeds instead. Just then the ambulance arrived and he was taken to the mortuary, they all retired to their various homes, it has been a very long day for them.

It's the next day and they all assembled at Kyle's house as they had concluded to, so they can train since it has a wide land area for them and it is fenced and gated. What happened yesterday while they were away was narrated to Cassie by Sean, he did not leave a single detail out of it.

“What do I think? Now tell me what you think I'll think? Y'all left him here all alone, and when y'all came back, not even one of you decided to check up on him, and I've been living with the guilt that my Dad is a criminal, a murderer! do you know I feel about being a murderer kid huh? Do you? You left a kid with so much potential who was probably just starting his life with exceptional powers like that and you are out here giving some useless excuses huh? Now he is dead and it's all because of you, obviously, you are not better than him.“ Cassie fired back before she stomped out of the training ground and went inside the mansion to one of the available rooms.
“Great you just succeeded in pissing her off,” Sarah said
“Don't worry she will come around.“ Paul assured her.
“She will come around? Pfft! Look, to be fair, what you guys did is really awful, really awful!“ She dished out her mind before walking into the mansion following Cassie's steps.
“So you think sitting here is going to make her come around, Ha ha ha, very very funny, after what you guys did, I don't know what to say.“ Kyle said to his face and walked away from them
“I'm, I'm speechless!“ Chloe said and walked into the mansion following Kyle
“If you think you are my Dad and I'm not going to tell you the truth, then you are deceiving yourself, come to think of it, if you guys hadn't left him we would have had the upper hand in defeating Anetta and I'm very sure none of this death would have happened, sorry to say, but your stupidity led you guys to this, y'all thought he wouldn't be a good help, but look at what he did, he beat our asses, don't tell me it's because of the poison, because with it or not, he still beat us, he can still choose to fight us yesterday but he surrendered that shows he has a good heart, and he will forever be a legend. And also, why did you think cutting that part of the story from us is going to help? And justify your actions?

“What brought about the sudden meeting, Renetha? Better let it be worth it!“ Scarlett said and Renetha gritted her teeth, it's not your fault, she thought and she faced Leslie instead.
