"You guys, ready?" Yuhan asked us with a big smile, suddenly appearing out of nowhere.
"Yuhan? What are you doing here?" I asked him.
"I just stopped by to check on you two," he answered and sat down on the sofa. The word feel at home is really trendy for him.
I looked at Rachelle who was peeking at the door. I smiled at her but she immediately hid. He's still not used to me or Yuhan. After we got dressed, we were about to leave but I couldn't find where Rechelle was.
So that she wouldn't think of running away, I hired body guards to watch over her. There are maids to take care of hef inside the house.
"Are you worried?" Warren asked me.

"The governor's wife is in the basement," Yuhan simply whispered to me. I nodded without looking at him.
When the governor saw us, he immediately came over and greeted Warren.

"Happy birthday, Governor. Marques," Warren greeted with a smile. The governor looked at me and smiled.

Warren and I were just sitting and he was just eating sweets.

"Do you want me to accompany you?" he asked smiling. I just shook my head and smiled before leaving.
While everyone was busy with what the governor was saying, I left and looked for what the governor's wife in the basement.

"What's going on here?" I asked while coldly looking at that man.
"Don't get involved, girl!" the man yelled in annoyance at me.
"Be careful with your words, boy. Or else you'll regret it!" I told him emphatically and glared at him. He seemed surprised and couldn't speak immediately, so I turned my gaze to the girl he was bullying.
"You alright?" I asked and helped her stand up. She nodded and wiped away hef tears. She was wearing a maid uniform but she didn't look like a maid.
"Told you not to interfere!" I turned around and caught the fist of the man who was ready to approach my back with a punch just now.
"How," he whispered in disbelief.
I looked at him badly and kicked him so hard that he was thrown far away.
"How dare you lay a hand on me?" I said as I looked down on him. He writhed in pain as he lay on the floor.
"Oh my gosh!" I heard a woman scream and came to the man to help.
"Are you all right, Cesar?" I ignored them and turned back to the girl whose eyes were now shining and amazed at what she had witnessed.
"How dare you bitch?" the woman yelled at me in annoyance. I faced him and glared at her, but suddenly she threw something at me that made me dodge.

"What trouble is this?" A muscular man walked towards us, wearing his cold and emotionless face.
