Alvierra's P.O.V.
 
"Thanks for coming with me here." Kael said.
 
"No problem, besides I needed to buy something too." I said. He told me earlier that he was free after 1 and he didn't have any afternoon classes. I also told him I was free at 1:40 and I didn't have any afternoon classes anymore. So he asked me to go to the mall with him.
 
"You know? If I was a real guy, I would probably be courting you. Aside from being beautiful, you're also kind and intelligent. Your future boyfriend is so lucky." he said.
 
"Wow, you're making my head swell with all these compliments." I said laughing. He laughed too.
 
"Oh wait, why aren't you dating yet?" he asked. We were at the counter of the bookstore now.
 
"I don't want to yet, and it's not allowed. Besides, the person I like doesn't like me back." I said.
 
"Girl, what you're saying is impossible. For sure he likes you." he said. I didn't say anything because the person in front of us finished paying.
 
"Who is this lucky guy?" Kael asked after we went out.
 
"He's my friend. And I've liked him for four years." I said laughing.
 
"Really? Why aren't you guys together yet?"
 
"Because, well, he doesn't like me back."
 
"As I was said earlier, that's impossible!" he said laughing as we walked towards the grocery store. I told him I needed to buy something.
 
"If he likes me, why hasn't he courted me? If he likes me, he should have told me a long time ago." I said.
 
"Maybe he's afraid of losing your closeness and friendship."
 
"That's also my reason. Maybe he'll avoid me if I confess. He might just ignore me." I said.
 
"Oh, then just confess. I'm sure he likes you too." he said.
 
"I don't want to gamble." I just laughed. He kept teasing me to confess but I said I really didn't want to. I might regret it.
 
Rade texted asking where I was. I just told him I was at the mall near the University. I bought everything I needed and then paid for it at the counter.
 
"Girl, I'm going home now. Let's go, I'll drive you home." Kael said.
 
"Oh, no, my friend is coming. You go home first." I said.
 
"Really? Okay, be careful. Thanks again for today. I enjoyed it." Kael said with a smile. I smiled back and waved goodbye to him as he walked away.
 
After Kael left, I just waited on a seat near the Fast Food Restaurant. I'm getting hungry from the smell.
 
A while later, Rade arrived.
 
"Let's date!" he said happily.
 
"Huh? What date?"
 
"Ahmm, date." he said and thought for a moment.
 
"Friendly Date?" I asked.
 
"Ah Y-yes. Friendly Date." Rade said. He took my hand and pulled me towards the cinema.
 
"Hey, I'm not allowed to stay out late." I said.
 
"It's still early."
 
He bought two tickets. We were going to watch cartoons.
 
"I've already seen that." I said.
 
"They said it's good." Rade said. I just nodded and ate chips. I was just focused on watching because it was really good even though I've seen it before.
 
"Alvs." Rade said so I looked at him. He was just staring at me and it seemed like he wanted to say something.
 
"Why?" I asked confused.
 
"I want you, I like you and I love you more than a friend." he said, which surprised me. Really? In this place?
 
"Hey Rade." I said when I saw him still staring at me. "What are you saying?"
 
"I really like you and I really gathered my courage to confess this to you." he said.
 
"Are you just joking?" I asked.
 
"I know that you didn't like me. But let me--"
 
"I like you too." I said.
 
"Huh?!" he asked surprised.
 
"Tss, I don't want to repeat myself." I said and just as the movie ended, the audience stood up. I stood up too but Rade pulled me back down and hugged me.
 
"I breathed a sigh of relief. The heavy feeling I had now feels lighter knowing that you like me too." he said. I smiled and hugged him back.
 
"I'll court you until you're ready." Rade said.
 
"I'm ready." I said laughing. I broke away from the hug and looked at his face.
 
"You can court me now and I've given you time to prove yourself." I said with a smile. He smiled and took my hand. He pulled me out of the cinema and we went to the Fast Food Restaurant I also liked earlier.
 
He ordered food and he ordered all my favorites.
 
We just waited for our order and I was still looking at him in disbelief.
 
"I know your favorites. Because your favorites are also my favorites." he said with a smile.
 
"Really?" I said laughing. Our order arrived and whenever there was sauce left on the corner of my mouth, he would wipe it off. I couldn't help but smile while he was doing that.
 
We just walked around and played in the Games room. I really enjoyed it.
 
When it was 5 pm, we went out of the mall together. He wanted to drive me home on his motorcycle but I told him not to because I would get scolded if someone snitched that I was with a guy. There are a lot of eyes on teenagers in our place.
 
"Raiden, do you want to have a girlfriend?" I asked.
 
"Of course, as long as it's you."
 
"Okay, from now on, you're my boyfriend. Bye!" I said and walked quickly. When I was far enough, I looked back at him, he was still stunned. I laughed and shook my head. I got on the jeep going home.
 
Suddenly, I got a text so I looked at it.
 
'I Love You'
 
Three words and eight letters but it gave me millions of butterflies in my stomach. I smiled and put away my phone.
 
When I got home, I hugged my brother while he was doing his assignment. He frowned and looked at me in confusion.
 
"Ate, what did you eat, you're smiling like you're crazy?" he asked.
 
"Is it bad?" I asked smiling.
 
"You're usually serious and you always look like you're mean." he said.
 
Look at this kid, he's already grown up. It feels like I was just carrying him around. Now he doesn't want to hug me anymore.
 
"Ate, what course do you want me to take in College?" he said.
 
"Civil Engineering." I said smiling and remembering Raiden.
 
"Okay, I'll do it." he said.
 
"Just kidding, follow your heart. I remember you wanted to be a doctor or a soldier." I said.
 
"I'll follow whatever you want because you're the best for me." he said smiling.
 
I just ruffled his hair and went out of the room to clean the house because Mama would be home any minute.
 
"Ate, I'll wash the dishes!" Vince said.
 
I smiled because our baby is already grown up.
 
"Just don't break two plates and glasses, okay?" I said laughing.
 
"That was before! Not anymore!" he said. I just laughed while sweeping.
 
"Tss, is this what love does?" I said laughing to myself. If this is what love does, it feels so good and I don't want this feeling to go away.
