Early in the morning Viona was ready to go to school, she couldn't wait to get to school, even though the clock on her bedroom wall still showed 05.30 WIB. Half running Viona came out of the room and approached her mother who was still busy in the kitchen preparing breakfast and supplies to take to the office. 
"Eat slowly Viona, you'll choke" her mother scolded her who saw Viona eating in a hurry, "Why do you look so rushed? It's not even six o'clock yet, do you have schoolwork that hasn't been finished?" Her mother continued. 
"Eh... hmmm nothing ma, I'm just being lazy fighting over getting on the bus" Viona replied stuttering, while her mother just shook her head seeing her daughter's behavior. 
After finishing breakfast and saying goodbye to her parents, Viona immediately stepped out of the house to go to school. During the journey Viona's thoughts were filled with Dewa's disappearance. why Dewa hasn't contacted her for two days and hopefully Dewa will go to school today. She prayed in her heart.
Arriving at school, Viona immediately put her bag on the table, as usual every Monday there was a change of sitting position and this time Viona got a turn to sit in the back seat with Alya. 
As the bell rang, Viona still had not seen any sign of Dewa at school. "Maybe he's late," Viona said in a monologue to herself. 
However, approaching the first break, Dewa was still not seen passing in front of Viona's class as he usually did on previous days. During break time, Viona also still did not see Dewa in the place where Dewa usually hung out with his friends. All of that made Viona's mood fall apart again. Her enthusiasm that was high when leaving the house was immediately replaced by a feeling of annoyance that was manifold. 
"Mrs. Desi didn't come today, earlier in the next class we were only given homework, which means we are also only doing homework," Nando shouted when the bell rang indicating that break time was over. 
"Hooray, the whole class shouted in unison," as if winning the lottery, the whole class was immediately happy to hear the news. 
"Why are you always looking at the window? Dewa won't come by, he's not coming in today," Alya said to Viona in a tone that was hard for her to interpret. 
"How do you know?" 
"I know," Alya replied while rolling her eyes.
"Good afternoon all children, today Mrs. Desi is absent and you are asked to work on LKS (Student Worksheet) page 23, when you are finished, please put it on Mrs. Desi's desk, okay?" Mr. Alif said and then sat on the special chair for teachers. Suddenly the whole class wondered why Mr. Alif, who was the Student Representative, came to give the assignment, not the teacher on duty. Mr. Alif really has nothing to do. 
"I happen to have nothing to do, so it's better for me to be here, rather than you guys making noise and disturbing the comfort of the class next door in studying." Mr. Alif added again as if answering the question in the hearts of all his students. 
However, Mr. Alif's presence did not last long in the class, a few minutes later a teacher on duty came and reported that today Dewangga was absent from the first period and there was no notification from his parents. After giving the report, the teacher immediately excused himself and returned to the duty desk. 
"Do you know Dewangga, the VII. A kid? There have been many cases of him, it's even reached me, once again for his actions, he will drop out of here. If you want to cause trouble, just go to the duty teacher or homeroom teacher, don't go to the Student Affairs Representative. So don't get close to him, don't be friends with Dewangga, later you'll end up like him," said Mr. Alif before leaving the classroom. 
"You're not even allowed to be friends, let alone become a couple," said Alya while giggling at Viona, which was only answered with a thin smile by Viona. "Is it true that Dewa didn't come today, I don't believe it, do you actually like Dewa?" Alya added again after Mr. Alif left.
"Why indeed?" Viona replied shortly. 
"Just curious, to be honest, I broke up with him a long time ago, besides I don't have any feelings for him anymore" Alya said. 
"I don't know" Viona said briefly while shrugging her shoulders. 
Viona's feelings became even more confused after finding out that Dewa really didn't come today, there was a feeling of doubt that arose after hearing Alya's words earlier, plus Alya was the one who gave the information first about Dewa's absence from school today. The girl became even more diligent in looking at the clock perched on the wall of her classroom. However, the clock's hands didn't seem to move at all. 
"Don't keep looking at the clock, later he'll be nervous and won't be able to walk" Nando exclaimed which immediately made Viona smile. 
"Well then, smile, your face has been bent all this time, because you haven't seen Dewa all day, huh?" Nando teased while raising and lowering his eyebrows at Viona, while the girl just shrugged her shoulders in response.

Finally, the long-awaited homecoming bell rang, all the students came out of the classroom in unison. Viona looked around hoping Dewa would appear from somewhere. But it turned out that was just her hope. Dewa was nowhere to be seen. The girl continued her steps towards the school gate where she usually met with Gita. 
"Dewa didn't come today, Vi, I'm surprised by that kid, even though there have been so many cases, he still likes to leave, earlier the ceremony was also a mess because he didn't come, even though he was the one who should have been the leader of the ceremony," Gita said while they were waiting for the bus. 
"Yes, earlier Mr. Alif also said that in my class, he said don't want to be close and friends with Dewa, he's the cause of trouble, there have been many cases" Viona said to Gita. 
"Hopefully he will change later, oh yes after the semester exams there will be a Hiking event, let's join, ... when else, next year there might not be another one" Gita invited while handing over a registration form. 
"Okay, I'll try to ask permission first at home" Viona replied.
Arriving home, Viona immediately told her parents about her plan to join a hiking activity after the semester exams were held. 
"Mom, after the semester exams I'll join a hiking event, okay?" Viona said when she saw her mother watching gossip infotainment. 
"Hiking is walking, right? Are you strong enough? Just walking a little bit makes you complain" 
"Well, if there are a lot of people, you won't feel tired, ma" 
"No need to join in like that, it'll just make you tired, besides the terrain is quite difficult, if it rains the road is slippery, what if you slip and fall into the sea?" 
"Well, don't pray for me, Ma, pray for me with good prayers, not bad ones like that" Viona let out a rough breath hearing her mother's rejection. Then she moved to sit on the porch of the house where her father usually sat while reading the newspaper. 
"Dad, next week after the exams, the school is holding a hiking event, can I join, pa?" 
"Next week is still a long time away, right?" 
"Is it allowed? The important thing is to get permission first" Viona replied a little annoyed. 
"Yes, it's okay if it's about school, just go" her father said which made a smile appear on Viona's face. After hearing the answer she wanted, Viona said "let Papa take care of her mother" she thought. 
Viona entered her pink room, opened the curtains and watched the sun slowly disappear. However, this activity actually reminded her of Dewa, Dewa who always disturbed her peace when looking at the sunset.
The girl reached for her phone hoping for a call or message from someone who had suddenly disappeared from her days for the past few days. But still nothing, Dewa had not contacted her again.
Why do I keep thinking about Dewa since yesterday, it's clear he's a troublemaker, even teachers forbid me from being friends with him" she said in a monologue in her heart while massaging her forehead. 
To dispel her worries, Viona tried to turn on the radio in her room, searching for a random radio station and then stopped when she heard a song by Sherine, The Meaning of Arrogance.
