29

Time passed, Viona went through her days as usual, her busy schedule as one of the performers in the cultural week that would be held next month made her really busy and could distract her heartbreak a little. She had also started to get used to seeing Dewa and Hilda who were often together at school, although sometimes there was still a feeling of reluctance in her heart but Viona tried to ignore it, Dewa also never contacted her again, when they accidentally passed each other on the street, Dewa also never reprimanded her, even the guy seemed to tend to look away.
Until one day the cultural week banners began to be displayed along the streets and every corner of the city, there was a portrait of Viona who was seen posing holding two plates in her hands wearing traditional Minang clothes. Suddenly Viona became the talk of her school. Many wondered if it was really Viona or just someone else who happened to look like VIona because not many knew what the girl's activities were outside of school hours.
"Hey, has anyone seen the cultural week banner? Isn't that Viona? She looks very similar!" Asked Roni, one of Dewa's close friends while they were hanging out after school in one of the stalls near the school.
"Yeah, that's right, she looks very similar to Viona, I also saw her earlier when I was going to school. She's so pretty! I wanted to ask her directly when I arrived at school but I forgot," said Andrew, who also saw the banner on his way to school this morning.
"Where are the banners?" Dewa, who had previously been listening silently, now began to speak up.
"They're everywhere," said Roni, who sounded like he was answering carelessly even though that was the reality.
"I'm asking seriously." Dewa replied in annoyance.
"Well, the banners are everywhere, bro, along the main roads, at the intersections too, those are banners for the cultural week held by the Cultural Service, that's why there are so many banners and they're everywhere." Roni explained, making Dewa even more curious.
Dewa was seen sucking the r**** in his hand deeply then exhaling roughly, there was another feeling he felt when he heard his friends praising and talking about Viona even though it wasn't a bad thing.
The change in Dewa's expression and attitude was clearly read by all of his friends who were there, it had indeed become a habit for them to hang out while having a r**** before going home to their respective homes.
"Viona is still single, right?" added one of the people in the hangout, giving a code to his friends when he realized Dewa's displeased expression regarding their discussion about Viona.
"Still, I think? Why? Want to approach her?" His other friends chimed in, some of them even biting their lips to keep from laughing.
"Well, if we're both still single, what's wrong with that, no one's going to get mad, right?" he added, making some of them giggle.
"I think I'm still single, but if no one gets mad... I don't know... We don't want to join in." Andrew replied with a laugh that sounded restrained but his eyes glanced at Dewa who looked silent with an expression that was hard to interpret.

"How is Viona now, Sar?" Dewa asked Sari who happened to be visiting his house that afternoon.
"Hey, if you're with Hilda... Just focus on her. .. No need to ask about Viona anymore." Sari reprimanded when Dewa asked her about Viona.
"I'm a playboy, Sar... It's natural to have lots of girls," Dewa replied proudly.
"Gosh... You're crazy... Being a playboy is something to be proud of! What's proud of is being a loyal guy. Not someone who can only hurt girls." Sari said who was immediately annoyed when Dewa proudly admitted to being a playboy.
"Besides, take care of that girl, don't keep terrorizing Viona, poor thing, she doesn't do anything but she often gets terrorized. How dare she just send SMS or Chat" He added again.
"That's not Hilda... I know Hilda's character..." Dewa defended his girlfriend, not accepting Hilda being badmouthed like that.
"Of course you're defending her, you're her boyfriend! Besides, Viona is dating another guy now."
"Who?" Dewa asked curiously.
"There is... Airlangga school student. Handsome, tall, white, most importantly loyal, not a playboy who doesn't know himself like you." Sari said, deliberately trying to provoke Dewa's reaction if he knew Viona had a new boyfriend. And sure enough, Dewa's expression changed like someone who was jealous.
"Have you seen the cultural week banner? Viona is beautiful there... It's only natural that she can get a guy who is more handsome than average." Sari was even more excited to heat up her cousin.
"No, where did you see it? But is it really her?" Dewa asked to make sure.
"There's one at the intersection in front, the banner is so big, how come you didn't see it? . Yes, Gita said it's really her, Viona rarely hangs out like that because she's busy, her activities are really busy I think" Sari added again.
"Hey, where are you going?" She shouted then when she saw Dewa get up from his position and start the motorbike that was parked in the yard.
"Going to the intersection..." She shouted then immediately stepped on the gas leaving Sari who looked smiling seeing Dewa's behavior, in her heart the girl believed that Dewa had not forgotten Viona at all, why would the guy bother now to see the banner at the intersection when tomorrow morning when he goes to school he can also see it right away.
