Early in the morning, Viona was ready with her backpack, not forgetting the gift and chocolate that she had made especially for Dewa. With great care, Viona put the gift package into her bag so that it would not be damaged and even broken, reducing its special essence. 
Viona walked as casually as possible towards school. Even though her heart was beating erratically and also nervously imagining what would happen later. Afraid that someone would laugh at her when she gave the gift. Afraid that Alya and Salsa would also give a gift to Dewa and maybe the gift was better and more expensive than the one Viona would give later. 
When she arrived at school, her friends were already noisy discussing about Valentine's gifts. There were also those who heard news that the teachers would conduct a raid on Valentine's gifts that day. No one knows where the issue started. However, the whole school was shocked by the news. All the students suddenly panicked and tried to hide the gifts that they had prepared and wrapped beautifully. Not willing if the gifts have to change hands and be taken over by the teachers. 
The students were busy looking for a place that was considered safe enough and would not be detected by the teachers. Some hid their gifts in used paint cans, some also hid them in the ceiling of the classroom that had a little hole. Some of them even left them with the canteen guard.
Even though she was scared, Viona chose to keep her gift in her bag, not wanting to bother hiding and leaving her gift like her other friends. Because she was more scared if everyone knew that she also brought a gift intended for Dewa and that meant she would be the target of her friends for a certain period of time. 
The first hour passed safely and peacefully, there was no sign of a gift raid by the school. The second hour was still the same, there was no raid by the school. The same thing happened in the third, fourth, fifth and so on hours, it could just pass by. The things that almost all the students at the school were afraid of still had not come true. 
Throughout the lesson hour, Viona passed restlessly, her heart beating twice as fast every time a teacher came or just passed in front of her class. It was unimaginable how embarrassed she would be if the raid really happened and she was the only one caught carrying a gift, especially if the gift was opened and the teachers saw that there was Dewa's name engraved there. 
Viona massaged her temples, a sudden dizziness attacked her after imagining several bad possibilities that would befall her if the raid really happened. "I shouldn't have used gifts, it just made me dizzy." She said in a monologue in her heart, cursing her own stupidity for being too obedient to her friends. Meanwhile, her other friends could still look calm because they had managed to hide the gifts first. 
Teeet... Teeet... Teeet...
The bell rang three times, signaling the end of school. Viona took a deep breath, filling her lungs with as much oxygen as possible. Then she released it slowly. Her face, which had been tense and pale, slowly brightened again. At least one thing she was worried about had passed, now all that remained was how to get the gift to Dewa's hands without many eyes seeing it. 
After making sure the teacher who taught in the last period had left the class. The whole class was chaotic again. Several boys were seen climbing to get the gifts they had prepared for their respective crushes that they had previously hidden in the classroom attic. 
Meanwhile, what happened on the school field was no less exciting, there were also those who used Valentine's Day as an opportunity to say love, some were happy because their love was accepted, and not a few were sad because their love was rejected. 
"Come on, hurry up!" Gita said, patting Viona's shoulder who was still standing calmly on the edge of the field watching scene after scene from several couples and prospective couples. 
"Where are you going?" Viona asked, but the girl continued to follow Gita's steps towards the school gate.
"Just come along, we want to meet Sari." Gita answered quickly, then pulled Viona's hand towards the school gate.
From her position, Viona could see Sari talking to Dewa, not long after that Sari and Dewa were seen walking towards Viona.
"Where's the present? Did you bring it? Hurry up and take it out while it's not crowded, the others are still in the field... Look, Dewa is coming here." Gita said, seeing that Viona hadn't held her present yet. 
"Eh... yes, she brought it." Viona replied, suddenly nervous, then immediately took out a totebag from her backpack. 
As soon as Dewa arrived in front of her, Viona looked even more nervous, her heart beating faster. Without saying a word, Viona immediately handed the totebag to Dewa. 
"Thank you." Dewa said as the totebag moved into his hand, Viona just nodded her head and gave Dewa a smile. Her tongue suddenly froze, the words she had put together yesterday were lost, swallowed by nervousness because this was the first time she was at such a close distance with Dewa. 
"Come on, talk, say I hope you like the present." Gita whispered, starting to get annoyed seeing Viona like a statue, not making a sound, not even a single word. 
"Hope you like it." Viona said then, following the instructions given by Gita and answered with a nod by Dewa. 
After Dewa walked quite far, some grumblings were heard coming out of Gita and Sari's mouths. They felt irritated by Viona's attitude who just kept quiet in front of Dewa, even if she wanted to talk, she had to be given a command.
"Well, what else can I do... I've never been close to a guy... this is my first experience... so yeah, it's normal for the beginning." Viona said casually, feeling her burden starting to lighten because the gift had landed safely into the hands of the intended person. As for the gossip that would circulate, let it be hot gossip, after all, she also felt happy if she continued to be gossiped about with Dewa.
"By the way, what gift did you give? Why is the packaging different from yesterday?" Sari said curiously. 
"I just changed the packaging and added a box of chocolates there." Viona answered quickly. 
"Sil **** **** chocolate?" Gita asked. 
"No, Paraline chocolate." Viona answered, whether her friends understood what chocolate Viona meant. 
"Well.. I hope Dewa likes the gift you gave... and I hope after this you two will get closer and even become a couple." Gita said which was answered with a nod from Dari. 
"The important thing is if you become a couple, don't forget the treat. We're tired of being matchmakers, how can we only get rewards without getting a treat?" Sari added later which was also agreed by her other friends.
