"I can take your bag from the class. You're in the same class as Kevin, right?" Diana said as she stood up from her seat next to Revan. Revan nodded. "Wait a minute, so I fell asleep here and you skipped class?" "Yes, you were given permission. If you're worried about missing any material, I can help you," Revan shook his head, refusing Diana's offer. That wasn’t Revan’s main concern. He wasn’t worried about the lesson at all, but he was curious about why Diana spent hours accompanying him. She could have left him. It was all because of guilt. Oh yeah, Revan hadn’t yet responded to Diana’s earlier apology. Now Diana had already left the room. After Diana brought Revan’s bag, of course, after waiting for the class to empty and searching for the remaining forgotten bags, she also grabbed her bag. Then she went back to the health room and asked about Revan’s condition again. Diana offered to walk Revan to the front of the school where he usually waits for his ride. When they reached the quiet school grounds, Revan asked Diana to go home first. He had been accompanied until the school gates, and she didn’t need to wait any longer. Diana hesitated at first, but Revan assured her that she didn’t need to feel guilty. It was all an accident. "Then I owe you. A thank you won’t be enough," Diana said. "No need for that..." "I’ll repay you, say anything you want," Diana felt that Revan was different from what she knew before. Still, Diana remembered that Revan had been kind to her before, even though only Diana had noticed. At least, that was how Diana saw it. "Alright... I’ll ask for something later after I think about what I want." Revan gave up, not knowing how to refuse anymore. "Okay, I’ll go now." Diana started walking while waving. She smiled with relief. Revan watched Diana’s back as she pedaled her bike away. Then Revan realized something. Diana’s ankle was wrapped in bandages. He also remembered when Diana handed over his bag—if he looked closely, her hand was red and swollen on one side. He didn’t know how Diana got hurt, but she acted as if nothing happened. Was it from falling earlier while with him? She even still managed to ride her bike. A strange girl, Revan thought as he watched Diana riding her bike with her injured leg. --- Diana had now arrived at work. She quickly changed into her uniform. When she tried to grab a wet tissue from her bag, she couldn’t find it. "What?!" Diana was surprised. How could she find her belongings if the bag wasn’t hers? At first, Diana didn’t think much of the contents of the bag, because it was neatly packed, unlike most guys’ bags. Her bag also didn’t contain any beauty products like her female friends’ bags. Her bag was just filled with textbooks. She forgot that the textbooks were the same for students in the same year unless their majors were different. "Don’t tell me our bags got switched," Diana murmured, remembering how she had brought Revan’s bag earlier. The school bags were standardized, so they all looked the same. I’m careless. How could this happen? Diana thought, feeling frustrated. --- "Where are you going?" Valen asked Revan, who was about to open the door of the house. "Out," Revan answered briefly. If you’re leaving the house, of course, you’re going out, Valen thought to himself. "But it’s almost dinner time," Valen’s words made Revan turn around from the door that hadn’t even opened fully, facing Valen. "I might eat out." "Not allowed. You have to eat with me," Valen insisted, wanting Revan to eat at home, not outside. "Huh? Why? It’s up to me where I want to eat," Revan said with a mocking look. "Since Dad was home, you’ve always been going out. Now that Dad’s gone again, you’re still going out." Valen didn’t want to eat alone; he wanted to be with Revan. It had been a whole day without Revan by his side. At least for dinner, they should be together. Valen just wanted to spend time with his sibling like most people do. Unfortunately, his younger sibling was too cold. But it would be impossible for Valen to say all this clearly. "I shouldn’t be surprised. You are childish." Look! Revan doesn’t even know Valen’s true feelings, but he already mocks him like that. What if Revan found out? Maybe Valen would get teased even more by him. "Say whatever you want. I’m like this because I’m worried about you, you know. You’re always alone, never say anything unless asked. Maybe you’re too shy to talk?" Valen replied. "If you want, you can come with me," Revan said, not answering Valen’s question and continued to open the door and walk out. He seemed to be avoiding it. "Wait!" Valen caught up with Revan. "We can use my car to go," Valen offered. "Your suggestion isn’t bad," Revan answered while shrugging. "By the way, that bag, isn’t that your school bag? Why are you carrying it? Where are you going?" Valen pointed at the bag that Revan was holding. Revan sighed. "I’ll explain." --- "Is there anything else, sir?" "That’s all we ordered, and can I meet Diana Claire?" "Sorry, I think it will disturb her work..." "Just for a moment, even a minute is enough." "Alright, wait a moment." The waiter walked over to one of her colleagues who was behind. "Diana, someone wants to see you for a moment. They’re over there," the waiter pointed to a table in the restaurant. Two young men were sitting there. "Oh, alright, but let me deliver this first," Diana said, lifting an order for a customer. --- "What if she doesn’t bring your bag with her now?" Valen asked Revan after hearing the story about the switched bags. "If that’s the case, I wouldn’t be here." "Why are you so sure? I was just asking," Valen couldn’t understand Revan’s cold nature, even toward his older brother. "I know she came straight here after school," Revan said. Luckily, Diana was working today. If not, Revan would be embarrassed in front of his brother because Diana wouldn’t be here. Diana had a work schedule that didn’t require her to work every day. "How do you know that?" Valen stared at Revan suspiciously. Was there something he didn’t know about Revan’s true nature? "What’s with that look? I should be the one annoyed because you’re asking too many questions." Revan narrowed his eyes. "Okay, okay. Do whatever you want," Valen gave in. Revan rolled his eyes. "Excuse me, is there something you need?" Suddenly, someone was near the table where Valen and Revan were sitting. She looked slightly surprised to see who was looking for her. And it was someone she had met during the incident at school. "I came because of this." Revan lifted a bag. Diana’s eyes widened. "Is this what I think it is?" Revan shrugged. "I don’t know what you’re thinking. Judging by your reaction, I think you already know about our swapped bags." "Ah, right. I’ll take your bag. Please wait a moment." Diana immediately went to retrieve Revan’s bag. "So she’s the one," Valen smiled. Revan raised an eyebrow. "Why?"
