Chapter 13. Adopted

Chapter 13. Adopted
Upon arriving at the uncle's residence, Adam said something to Lucky "Well, listen. Plan B has an extra plan."
Lucky immediately went to look for the data in his head with plan B. He immediately remembered the conversation on Beras Basah Island. He looked closely at the boss's face in the rearview mirror.
"Send Bianca flowers tomorrow," Adam said, leaving Lucky who's in the driver's seat stunned. Then the boss got out of the car.
After hearing Adam's words, Lucky fell silent and thought of the reason the boss was headed toward a woman who did not even know each other.
A knock on the windshield threw out Lucky's daydream. "Sir, please move the car forward. The car behind is about to leave," says the security officer who arranged for vehicle traffic in and out of the driveway of the mansion.
Through the main door, Adam was greeted by a large crystal vase with a white floral arrangement. The chandelier shimmered right above it. The sight reminded him of the cave image of stalactite and stalagmite. Unconsciously Adam smiled an amused smile.
"Adam," someone called. The man turned and saw Mrs. Padmana, the wife of his uncle.
"Good evening, Auntie," Adam greeted.
"Good evening, Dear." Mrs. Padmana stretches her hand and embraces her niece. "I haven't seen you in a long time," said the middle-aged woman in the black kebaya dress with a beautiful bun in a flower pin. "You look thin, Son," Adam's aunt continued as she looked up to Adam's feet.
"Maybe it's just the shirt color I wore, Auntie," Adam claimed.
"Yes, it might be. Than being thin with stress, right?"
"Why should my sons stress?" It was Mrs. Wursita who answered. The noble lady is no less gracious than Mrs. Padmana. The typical pretty face of a Javanese-Dutch was walking towards both of them.
Adam greeted her, hugged her, and kissed her cheeks that had been added to the blush. "Have you been a while, Mom?" Adam asked politely.
"Nah. Not long ago," Mrs. Wursita replied. Then her eyes turned to her sister-in-law. "My son is happy with what he has. A grateful person is not as easily stressed," Mrs. Wursita said gently, but full of emphasis.
Mrs. Padmana who felt challenged to say something, "But the stress can also come from a steady compulsion. Work keeps getting more and more. So I became pitiful to my beautiful nephew," she retorted.
Mrs. Wursita was just about to continue, but Adam interrupted. "Can we finish it? Let's go. I'm hungry," he said to the mother with a smile to calm her down.
"What is the main course, Auntie?" Adam also did not forget to embrace his aunt in order to finish the game with the words of the two sisters-in-law. Then the three walked towards the prepared backyard as a dinner site. Mr. Aditya's backyard was large enough to hold a few round tables that six to eight people could use.
It was an open secret in the family of Saguna, that two daughters-in-law of the great Saguna often got into an argument. Each refused to give in to each other's opinion. There's just no physical violence or hate-hating. Their absence was purely because one party wanted to seem more domineering than the other.
As Adam marched alongside his mother and aunt, a young girl in a pink gown smiled wide and hurried up to him. "Hi, Adam," she said as she pulled out her hand to grab Adam's hands. "Do you miss me?" she asked, then without a doubt she hugged Mrs. Wursita's son.
Adam hugged back a known girl named Gita Asmara Saguna, Mrs. Padmana's youngest daughter. "Of course, My little sister. When are you back from Germany?" Adam asked.
"It's been a week. But I went straight to Bali. Meditation," she ripened as she acted out her pose with her hands in front of her chest with eyes closed. Looking at Gita, the three adults were smiling.
"Yes, instead of going back to Jakarta, she went directly to Bali. She said she was stressed by the college assignment," Mrs. Padmana replied.
"Are you just as stressed as I was, Brother? While at college?" Gita asked.
Adam squinted and in style was thinking of remembering something. "I don't think so," Adam replied.
"That obviously. You used to date back then. Obviously he is happy." Mrs. Padmana's words brought Adam's memories back to the surface. Only a bitter smile could be engraved on the handsome man's face.
"Still happy even up to now, right, Son?" Mrs. Wursita replied straightly. "Single or dating is not a standard for measuring someone's happiness," she adds in defense of her son.
Mrs. Padmana was speechless. A showdown between two respected daughters-in-law was inevitable. In view of the circumstances, Adam and Gita looked at each other and then the comrades shuffled off their mothers.

Bianca and Indira are on the way back from the airport. They had a good weekend. Relaxing on the beach was refreshing enough for Bianca's soul.
"Thanks, Indira, for taking me on a vacation," Bianca once said.
"You're welcome, Big sissy. If you hadn't been called unplanned, you wouldn't ever take a break from your work," Indira said.
Bianca chuckled, "Yeah. Past seven days were overtime without a break. But thank God it worked out before the deadline."
"Yes. Well, we're almost there."
"Well, yeah. Pretty fast, huh?"
Their car entered an apartment building with eleven floors. The driver helped Bianca remove the briefcase from the trunk. Indira helped down and sent her friend.
"I'm so sorry, Big sissy. I can't stay with you any longer," Indira embraced one of Bianca's arms.
"It's okay, Darl. It's time you stayed with your family. I can do it by myself. You don't have to worry," Bianca said..
However, Indira's rounded eyes looked at Bianca. "Shall I stay the night? I'll be going home tomorrow morning!" she cried.
"What are you talking about? You must go home immediately. You haven't been home for three days. You'll stay the night next time. You are always welcome here," Bianca said and poked the tip of Indira's nose.
Indira was smiling widely and exposed her rows of teeth. The girl gave Bianca a hug and said goodbye. "I'm going home."
Bianca nodded and smiled at the girl. "Thank you, Mr. Yanti," Bianca said to Indira's personal driver. "Drive carefully," she added.
"Sure, Miss." Mr. Yanto Said.
Bianca mowed her way into her little apartment on the second floor . Although there was an elevator, the woman preferred to take the stairs. Bianca has a trauma with a small closed room.
Actually, Bianca was someone who grew up in an orphanage. Baby Bianca was left on the doorstep of the orphanage on a cold, blind morning in late February. Simply tucked away a piece of paper containing a name that was the only identity she had.
It was hard to convince prospective foster parents to take Bianca as their adopted daughter. Most of them had been unable to accept Bianca's obscure origins. They preferred babies or children who know their parents or at least their remaining family background.
Until one day a couple agreed to adopt seven-year-old Bianca. Everyone was happy that Bianca finally had a family who could give her love. The three months of asylum time has been very rewarding. Little Bianca grew up healthy and laundered in the love of her foster parents. Then Bianca officially became the child of the couple.
However, the couple's treatment of young Bianca was merely a cover to deceive the group into approving their adoption. The couple had a mental disorder that likes to hurt living things. Countless animals such as cats, dogs, fish, and even the dead monkeys had become objects to vent as well as their rage.
Having been childless since marriage, they intended to raise their children only to increase the satisfaction of their mental aberrations. Little Bianca began getting physical and psychic abuse.
