Chapter 11 - Work first before forgiveness!
Bo's POV
Bo's POV
While I was hiding in the other room, I heard Veera weeping in the kitchen while Mrs.Payne comforted her. It made me feel bad about how I said those words to her.
I couldn't stop myself; I was enraged because Veera mentioned my departure in this house as if she was telling me I should leave her life immediately. All I want is to have her rely on me a bit more, and I know that seeing me would bring up unpleasant memories of my brother cheating on Veera. But, because I'm selfish, I want her to forget about that jerk and focus only on me.
I didn't want to harm Veera; all I wanted was for her to be upset and condemn my brother for abandoning and failing to be true to her. I accept that I was being a jerk, and that directing my rage onto Veera was not a wise decision.
After an hour of listening to Veera cry, things went silent, and Mrs.Payne appeared in front of me, with a dissatisfied expression on her face.
"Mister, I appreciate that you are Miss Veera's husband's younger brother, but if you dare to make her weep one more time because you are being a jerk, I personally will make you leave this house or I will murder you, understand!" Mrs.Payne threatened me.
Mrs.Payne had left me alone again before I could talk to her. But instead of getting furious at her for threatening me, it made me smile because I could see that even though Veera was being bullied outside the Mansion, someone on the inside was soothing and loving her. Veera is fortunate in that the maid she hired is kind and supportive of her.
I sincerely hope she will forgive me.
Veera's POV
When I was through sobbing, I went to my room because Mrs.Payne had told me to go to my room so that I could have privacy and avoid being seen by the kids while I cried, as they could be concerned about why I was crying.
So I decided to go out to continue cleaning the home, but first I examined my face to see whether it was evident that I wept in the mirror, and when I confirmed that my face was good, I went out. When I opened the door to my room, I noticed Mr.Bo standing in front of me, sad-faced and anxiously staring at me.
"If you're going to disrespect me again, Mr.Bo, you'd best go right now because I have so many things to do-"
He abruptly put a crimson rose in front of him, so I didn't continue my speech. Which left me perplexed as to what this meant.
"What is the flower for?" I questioned.
"Ahm...an act of saying sorry?" he said nervously.
I cast a dubious look at him and crossed my arm across my chest. "Really, because from what I'm hearing, you seem like you're unsure of what that flower means to you, and it sounds like you're hesitating," I examined his motions.
He was taken aback by my statements, "N-no! I am certain about this flower being an act of saying sorry!" he added, clarifying the purpose of the red rose.
I twitched my brows at him. "If you're truly sorry, go help clean the house," I told him.
"C-clean?" He asked in a confused voice.
"Yeah, clean the house and then I'll forgive you because handing me a red rose will not let me forgive you for what you said to me, you need to do what I want for you to be forgiven," I explained to him.
I waited for him to answer what I said to him and after a second of waiting I spoke again" If you are not okay then excuse me Mr.Bo I have things to do" I walked past him and walked towards the stairs to go down.
He ran up to me and grabbed my arm to keep me from going. "What?" I irritably questioned.
"I-i will help clean the house if you forgive me, Ven," he said to me.
After hearing him offer to help clean the house, I secretly smiled mischievously.
"Are you certain of your decision, Mr.Bo?" I questioned, ensuring that he was certain of his decision.
He just nodded his head in response to my question, "Yes, I'm sure, so where should I start?" He replied to me while also asking where he should start cleaning.
Don't get too comfortable, Mr.Bo, because I'm not going to make it simple for you to clean the house. I will make certain that you learn your lesson and never disrespect me again.
Following that, we proceeded downstairs to the location of his first cleaning duty.
"B-bathroom?!" He asked as he stutter when we arrived in front of the bathroom downstairs.
"Yes, you will clean the downstairs bathroom first, then the upstairs bathroom, Mr.Bo," I instructed as his first assignment.
I can see his unpleasant expression in front of me, which made me grin in secret about how he is reconsidering performing the cleaning.
"But if you're hesitant, you may retract your promise to clean the house," I told him.
"No, I'll do it!" he repeated again, determined in his eyes.
"OK, here are the cleaning supplies you'll need," I said as I handed him the bathroom cleaning equipment.
He took the cleaning supplies from me right away and looked nervously at the filthy bathroom.
"Okay, good luck cleaning the bathroom; I'll leave you alone since I have some housework to do." I wished him luck and then said farewell so that I could attend to my own responsibilities.
When they came to the storage room with me to help clean, they questioned, "Miss, would Mister be okay cleaning the bathroom?"
I merely smiled at them and responded, "Well, it depends on him if he can withstand the duty that was assigned to him."
Both kids exchange worrisome looks and gaze at me. "He might not do well since when we looked at him in the bathroom, he was having difficulty cleaning," they both stated.
"Oh, well, I don't really expect him to perform well in cleaning the bathroom, but I believe having him go through that type of difficulties is well earned," I told them.
"Well, Miss, you have a point, mister truly needs to face that type of struggle once in a lifetime!" both children agreed.
" Yes " I said.
The three of us chuckle together, agreeing that Mr.Bo deserves the difficulty he is having cleaning the bathroom right now.
Bo's POV
I can hear the snickers from the three persons in my current scenario. I mean, it's my fault I offended Veera in the first place, so I definitely deserve this one.
But I'm still cleaning the filthy bathroom, which stinks so terrible that I can't count how many times I vomited due to the stench.
"But dang it, it stinks!" I mutter to myself as I scrub the toilet bowl at the time.
As soon as I realized there would be another bathroom to clean upstairs, I began to feel fatigued since I knew I would have to do it all over again with the cleaning of the bathroom upstairs, which made me vomit in disgust.
"Just bear myself, you can do it!" I tell myself.
As long as she forgives me, I will clean the bathroom several times till she says she forgives me for what I did.
After encouraging myself, I resumed cleaning the toilet bowl while covering my nose to avoid smelling the odor of the toilet bowl.
Unknown Pov
"So, they're both dead?" I questioned my youngest sister and her husband.
"Yes, I made sure they both died before I set fire to their house," he said, explaining what he did.
That's good; I need her gone so that my offspring may lead the tribe. I'm sorry, little sis, but I need you to leave first. But don't worry, I made sure you had someone with you so that you wouldn't be alone in hell.
"Good, what about their children, are they also dead?" I question my younger sister's children and whether or not they are deceased.
He didn't immediately respond to my inquiry concerning my younger sister's children, whom I believe they failed to murder.
"STUPID! Everything will be in vain if those brats are alive! Killing my younger sister will be a waste if you fail to kill those kids!" I scolded him in an angry voice.
"I am sorry boss, we tried our best to look for them around the area but they had escaped before we could arrive at their house" he said apologizing for their mistake." But I think those children won't survive in the forest if they left at night time" he added.
"You believe stupid?! What if they survive, mom and dad will find out and attempt to find them?! I NEED THEM DEAD FOR MY PARENTS TO LET MY OWN CHILDREN RUN THE TRIBE!" I said angrily.
"All right, boss, we'll find those kids and eliminate them once and for all," he assured.
"You better do your job right this time! If mom and dad knows those brats are alive my children cannot be chosen to rule the tribe!I need to prevent that from happening" I said with determination in my voice.
I will use whatever length to reclaim the items taken from me by my younger sister. Even if it means killing those innocent individuals in order to accomplish what I desire. Because it was all mine before that b*t*h was born and took all that was mine.
I'm only getting back what was rightfully mine in the first place. There is nothing wrong with what I am doing.
"We will try our best to catch them right away, boss," he said, vowing to find those brats once more.
"Find them before the full moon, when we'll know whether they'll be alpha, omega, or beta," I stated, telling them to look for those brats before the full moon appeared in the sky.
"As you wish, boss," he said.
After speaking with that guy, I was left wondering about how I will make my offspring lead the tribe and how I will teach my children to wage battle against those human beings who are selfish and greedy in their desires.
It's time to exact revenge on them.Download Novelah App
