After an hour they arrive at her grandma's been home, her heart heavy with sadness. She told her mom she'd be the one to give the gifts she buyed for Larah and Pea. Seeing how tired she looked, her mom readily agreed, saying, "Sure, honey. Go to your room, take a bath, and relax."
Once they were upstairs, Patresiah went into the bathroom to take a bath. Since Zhian always joined her when she bathed, he went in too, and they showered together.
After their bath, she dried Zhian's fur with a hairdryer and dressed him up. Then when she finish she said"Go to our bed, Zhian. Wait for me there," and Zhian obediently went to their bed.
After drying Zhian's fur, she dried her hair, then applied her skincare routine. Finally, she got dressed and lay down on the bed. Zhian was still there, playing with his toys.
While lying down, Patresiah opened her phone and saw a message from Deo. She quickly replied, "Okay, I'll add you."
After adding Deo on Fb, Patresiah couldn't resist the urge to stalk his profile. And there it was, a post about her but it's Tagalog so she use translation.
The post said, "I think I'm already in love, but wi didn't knew her. I saw her the other day, being bullied by some kids trying to get her Chihuahua coz she was walking with her dog that time, She was scared, so I helped her, but I never got to ask her name. I hope we meet again so I can find out if this handkerchief belongs to her. If not, I'll throw it away ." 
Patresiah was smiling as she read the post and scroll down without looking some comments bcoz she couldn't understand bisaya, She saw another post and she used translation again, The post said, "Why out of all the people I could love, did I fall for the girl who ran away from me?" With so many crying emojis.
She felt her sadness disappear. Then, she saw a notification that said "Deo Thomson accepted your friend request." Another notification popped up saying that Deo had sent her a message.
"Good afternoon, thank you for noticing me." She didn't know what she was feeling, but it felt like she was happy.
She replied to Deo and said, " it's okay." Deo seen her message right away and sent her a picture of the gift he bought for Zhian. He also sent a chat message saying, "I couldn't give it to you earlier because you already left.
"It's okay," chat of Patresiah.
"Can we meet tomorrow? My family is going to Dawis, and I was hoping you could come out with us."  --Deo
Patresiah felt a flutter of excitement, but also  sad  coz she knew they were leaving tomorrow.
"What time are you arriving?" --- Patresiah 
"I don't know yet, but we're definitely going there tomorrow. Would you like to go out with us?" --- Deo 
"I don't know coz where leaving tomorrow, and my parents might finally make it official. But if things change, I'd love to go out with you." --- Patresiah 
"Yeah, so your busy tomorrow? --- Deo 
"We're not leaving, we're going back to Manila," --- Patresiah 
 
"What? You're leaving? Why don't you stay for at least a month?" --- Deo 
 
"I can't. It all depends on my parents, and they've decided that we're leaving tomorrow. That's what Mom told me," --- Patresiah 
While they were chatting, Patresiah's mom called her to come down for dinner. She yelled, "Coming!" and then told Deo, "I'll chat with you later, I have to eat. " Deo agreed.
After finishing dinner, Patresiah went back to her room. Zhian stayed with her mom because he wasn't finished eating yet. Patresiah turned on her phone and saw a long message from Deo.
"Hi Patresiah, I don't even know where to start. At first, I was really looking for you, but I couldn't find you. And to be honest, the handkerchief wasn't the only reason why I was searching for you. I wanted to get to know you better, so I kept looking for you. I thought I'd never find you. It was pure luck that you were at the 7-Eleven before. When I ran, I actually get your handkerchief bcoz I put it in my bag. But when I when back, you were gone already. I tried to chase after you, but you were nowhere to be found. And at that moment, you never came back to the 7-Eleven and it really made me sad, then because my family was  going to Dawis, I took a day off from work to buy a gift for you. And to avoid any awkwardness, I got it for your dog because I thought you might not accept a gift for yourself.
Patresiah was so happy reading Deo's message that she almost cried. She left a message for him because he was offline.
 
A little while later, her parents came into the room, so she went offline to avoid being noticed.
 
They went to bed early because they had to leave early the next morning. Patresiah's mom had changed her mind and wanted to leave by 6 a.m. because that's what the private plane's schedule being changed.
Patresiah was sad because she leave a message Deo that they were leaving at 8 am,  and she hoped he could catch up before they left.
She wanted to grab her phone again to tell Deo that they were leaving early, but it was too late. Her mom took it away so she would sleep early.
On the other side, Deo started to cry because Patresiah was leaving tomorrow. So, he told his mom that he would go to Dawis early in the morning coz he had to reach Patresiah before they go.
Deo's mom always trusted him, so she agreed. He was happy because he could still catch up Patresiah, because the trip to Dawis only takes an hour or less.
In the morning, her mom woke her up early because they were leaving. Patresiah said "yes" and then asked, "Mom, can you put my phone on the bed when you go out?" Her mom said, "Okay, hurry up and take a bath. We're leaving later."
Patresiah took a bath while Zhian was already done with his bath and being dressed by his mom.
While she was in the bathroom, Patresiah was crying while taking a bath.
She thought to herself, "I wish I could tell Mom or Dad that we should stay here. But they're already dressed. Why does this always happen? If I tell them I want to stay, I know Mom won't let me."
She sighed and asked herself, "Why am I not free? There are so many things I want to do, but I can't."
While she was showering, her mom yelled, "Hurry up! It's already 5:35. You still need to get dressed." Patresiah hurried and finished showering. After that, she dried her hair, did her skincare routine, and got dressed.
It was already 5:56 when she finished getting ready. She grabbed her phone to chat with Deo and saw a long message from him.
There's also morning message said, "Promise, I'll be there by 6:00. You have an hour to talk to me. I'm leaving at 5 am. I Gotta go take a bath now, I miss u."
Patresiah quickly typed back, "Hurry! Come here now because we're leaving right now." As she was typing, her mom called her to say they were leaving.
As she was going down the stairs, she tried calling Deo because she couldn't reach him. Unfortunately, she couldn't do something for it.
After saying goodbye to her grandparents, they left. She felt a pang of sadness leaving, but she pretended to be okay and happy.
When they reached a proper  Dawis there's a crossing, the road to the right led to Bayawan and the one to the left led to Dumaguete.
 
As her dad was turning, Patresiah saw Deo, but because Deo was driving so fast, he didn't see her.
She quickly called Deo's number but it didn't rang, so she chat that , "We're already leaving. I saw you at the crossing, but you were going so fast."
She left a message for Deo, hoping he would wait for her to come back and that he wouldn't change. She said, "I want to see you again when I come back."
After sending the message, she decided to sleep, telling her mom to wake her up when they reached Dumaguete. She felt like there was no cure for the pain she was feeling, so she just went to sleep so her parents wouldn't see her crying.
