The air hung heavy with the scent of coffee and the lingering aroma of burnt toast. Zach, nursing a mug of lukewarm coffee, stared out the window, his gaze fixed on the bustling street below. Ethan, ever the optimist, was already on his feet, pacing the small apartment like a caged tiger. "Come on, Zach, we gotta start somewhere," Ethan said, his voice a mix of urgency and frustration. "We can't just sit here and let this go." Zach sighed, his gaze still glued to the street below. "I know, Ethan, but where do we even begin? I barely saw the guy. It was dark, and I was in a rush." "We can start with the hospital," Ethan suggested, his eyes gleaming with a newfound resolve. "Maybe someone saw him, maybe he went to the ER." Zach shook his head, his brow furrowed. "It's been days, Ethan. He might not have even gone to the hospital. And even if he did, what are the chances they'd remember a guy who walked in with a minor scratch?" Ethan paused, his enthusiasm momentarily dampened. "Okay, so maybe not the hospital. But what about the street cameras? We could check the footage from that night." Zach's eyes lit up for the first time that morning. "That's actually a good idea. I remember seeing a few cameras on that street." "Exactly! We can start with the ones closest to where you think it happened." Ethan grabbed his phone and began scrolling through a map app. "Let's see, you said it was near the bakery, right?" "Yeah, the one with the giant croissant sign," Zach confirmed, a flicker of hope igniting in his chest. Ethan zoomed in on the map, his fingers tapping rapidly on the screen. "Okay, here's a camera right across the street from the bakery. And another one on the corner." "Let's start with those," Zach said, a sense of purpose replacing the earlier apathy. "Maybe we'll get lucky." Ethan nodded, his eyes shining with determination. "We'll find him, Zach. I promise you." The conversation continued for hours, each suggestion fueling the other's hope. They discussed potential witnesses, possible routes the man might have taken, and even the possibility of using social media to spread the word. The initial despair gradually gave way to a sense of shared purpose, a determination to right the wrong that had been committed. As the sun began to set, casting long shadows across the city, they finally decided on a plan of action. They would start with the cameras, then move on to the bakery, hoping to find someone who might have seen the man. The hunt had begun, and with each passing moment, their resolve grew stronger. The search for the stranger, the man Zach had hit, was no longer just a matter of guilt, but a matter of honor, a quest to find closure and peace. "What should we do now?" "There are lot's of CCTV on that area, private and not right?" "Yeah but that was so dark more than an eclipse time dude!" "Maybe we can find another ways let's start before it's too late, remember always think about your family rather than nonsense." "But how? How could we start? I can't tell the police i killed someone accidentally!" "I know that's why I'm trying figure out what to do!" "Maybe we should try to start over that way?" He point at the left side" "Way to las Vegas?" "Yeahhhhh sh*t how can I solve this!" He shouts in the middle of the dark while crying so Ethan came near to comfort him. "Everything will gonna be okay, trust me." "How it will be okay everything was getting harder and harder, I even left my daughters at home alone by themselves for this fucking things." "Relax let's go now let's began this rather than blaming yourself!" They start walking to way of Las Vegas street trying to figure out if there's any CCTV. "Have you seen anything?" "Not yet, just a old street light" Ethan replied. "Maybe we need to separate your on the left side then I'm here at the right" "Ok find, no other ways " Ethan replied lazily. While they are looking for any CCTV footage something was moving on the wild Grass behind the rude. "What was that?" Zach ask Ethan. "I dunno maybe a wild animals hunting for food, you know where in outside that's just normal" Ethan replied to Zach. "Maybe we should go home first, let's think about it tomorrow then start over again." "Why? Are you scared?" Laughing question of Ethan. "Of course! I wasn't feel being comfortable, it looks so weird" "What do you mean?" Wondering ask of Ethan. "Nothing! Come hurry let's go home first this place aren't safety, I feel it!" Zach pull Ethan running back to his car. Ethan trying to ask what's wrong with him but Zach didn't respond so he was just looking at their back if someone was following them. "Run fasterrrrrrr" Ethan shouted in a scary voice. "I told you it wasn't safe" "Yeah your right I say something, something look aren't normal" "What!?" "Stop asking go hurry up drive away take me out of hereeeeee!" Angry said of Ethan. When they got home they are both feeling so scared that they couldn't even speak about what the experience earlier. And Ethan decided to sleep at Zach house because he was so scared of what he saw. " Did you seen a ghos?" Wondering ask of Zach. "No never mind can we sleep now, maybe that was just an illusion, I'm just so scared." "Why what have you seen?" "Something like not normal but stop talking stop asking it's better if we sleep so we can relax." "Ok as what you said. Best night bro, I'll wake you up tomorrow. "Thanks " Ethan replied.
