It was a choice to actually ignore him when she saw what happened to the otge side of the road when Eli pointed at the two of them. 
She felt a faint passing feeling but ignored it. It wasn't even that deep at all. She realized that it was indeed okay for her to see him with another person. 
The feelings isn't that strong enough to seep through in her. She was glad she was more accepting of things turning out that way. 
She realized that if two people are meant to be together, it will work. The circumstances will be in there favor. It's a classic thought and it's a bit timely as well... 
She was casual and chill when Elizabeth made her view points about it. Not feeling anything amplifying nor intense. She just feel calm, like there's nothing that happened at all even after seeing it right in front of her eyes. 
She can only think about another person. And that is Michael...

She diverted her gaze from the dripping liquid flowing through the package and stared at the sleeping individual right in front of her. 
Michael had gone through such a hard time dealing with his health but here he is sleeping with soft breaths. He looked peaceful despite the fact that his lips lack some color. 
It was faint and his face is pale but still he possessed the same essence in him. He still looked calm and peaceful... 
Anna concentrated on placing what she brought to the table and arrange some things. She was putting it in place. She gave him a glance. 
The food will be cooled down if he kept sleeping. But then she can always go out of the room and reheat it outside. The hospital do have certain commodities that actually were quite helpful for the people... 
Anna opened her mouth and gave out a yawn. She felt like dropping her head on the couch and get some sleep. She was quite tired from all of the lessons she read and there were more materials she also has to scan through. 
But she loved what she chose. Her field of study is quite special for her. She has some fun with some of the lessons she was able to acquire. This brings her life, and it's even more meaningful because she happens to take the same route as Michael. 
He too was on of the reasons that brings her spark in life. He was quite supportive. Always making her realize not only about what they were studying but reality in general... 
She blinked her eyes out and withhold her need to go to sleep. She will probably get a coffee. Or she will just add a cup or two of espresso. 
Ice coffees are a thing. It has been there thing. But then she always be brought back to the times when life was a bit easier. 
When they were in the backyard during summertime. When the sun is still shining but was preparing to give way to the moon in a few hours. When they were hanging around with friends, making some stack from the hays and laying themselves on top of it. Or when they ran around, chasing each other. Picking the fruits that they were able to eat. 
Those times when they pick what the was the coffee tree bore, managing its produce and letting her grandfather handle it for him to create there own coffee powder out of their own plants. 
It was fun when they both can sit on the sides of the branches of the trees. When they were laughing with friends and they were talking about their excitement of heading into their very first day in school. 
Those times were still engraved in her head. That kind of memories reminded her of life's simple moments that still made her realized how lovely life is with people that actually felt like home...

Anna stirred shen she felt a soft caress of fingers grazing on the side of her forehead. She opened her eyes and rubbed her lids. She already knew who it is. 
She immediately gave in and make space to stare at Michael who's eyes were gleaming with a smile on his lips. It made Anna smiled back at him. 
“You're up... Are you hungry? Do you need anything?” She asked. 
Michael shook his head at her. “You're the one who just woke up, Anna. I wanted to ask how about you? Are you hungry?” He questioned. 
His face looked pleasant and she just shrugged it off with a smile.
“You don't have to worry about me, Michael. You're the one who's in the hospital bed. You are the patient, and you will be the one who's not supposed to be left unaided.”
He smiled at her reply. He then brought herself to nod at her statement. “You're right. I am indeed a bit hungry.” He answered. 
“That's what I wanted to hear from you. I brought some take out. I'll be back in a minute since the food had cooled down.” She told him as her eyes went to the table where the the stuff she brought were place there. 
Something in her tugged when they meet each other's eyes. He shook his head. 
“You don't have to go out. I can eat the food, Anna. You're also tired.” He answered. 
Anna smiled at her before she withdrew her gaze and stood from her seat. “Then, I'll prepare it and will bring it to you in a minute.” 
She stood and went to the table. Anna did her arrangement, careful with her hold she went back to where Michael was at and place it in front of him. 
His eyes looked at the food as if he was sastified. He smiled at her, with his eyes beaming. His lenses looked a bit lighter and he then said nothing but only gave Anna his stare. 
Anna raised her brows at him. “What's wrong? You don't like it?” She asked him. 
He shook his head and he flashed another smile. “No, I like it because you brought if for me. But I need your help.” 
He raised his fingers. “I think I'm needing your help with the food.” 
Anna laughed at it. She couldn't help but to do it. She was aware with the mischievous grin he had on his face. Yet she kinda like seeing him this way rather than seeing him being all solemn, like while he was sleeping. 
“You mean, you want me to feed you?” Anna asked him even when she already managed to caught what his implications. 
Michael smirked he then nodded his head at her. But then a soft smile appeared right after his grin. 
Michael looked at her his gaze softened as he scanned her face. 
“Yes... I wanted you to feed me.” Michael replied.
