Chapter 39:
The storm above roared louder than ever, swirling violently as if reflecting the intensity of the battle below. Nathan’s heart pounded as he, Doms, and Zara stood their ground against the towering figure of the Violet King. The power surging through him from the Flame, Earth, and Water was immense, but the Violet King was still a force unlike anything they had ever faced.
“You think you’re strong enough to stop me?” the Violet King’s voice boomed as he unleashed another wave of violet energy. “You’re nothing compared to the power of the storm.”
Nathan raised his hands, calling upon the power of the Water’s Soul, and created a shield of glowing blue water. The wave of violet energy crashed against the shield, but the force was overwhelming. Nathan gritted his teeth, feeling the pressure, but held firm.
“Now, Doms!” Nathan shouted.
Doms leaped into action, his three yellow knives glowing brightly with the power of the Flame. He hurled them one after the other, each one striking the Violet King’s armor and causing sparks to fly. The Violet King roared in frustration, swatting at Doms, but he was too quick, dodging out of the way.
Zara’s staff crackled with electricity as she summoned the power of the Water’s Soul. She thrust her staff forward, sending a powerful wave of water crashing into the Violet King, knocking him off balance for a moment.
But the Violet King was relentless. With a snarl, he slammed his fists into the ground, sending shockwaves through the square that knocked Nathan, Doms, and Zara off their feet. The ground cracked beneath them, and violet energy surged through the cracks, creating fissures that spread out like jagged spiderwebs.
Nathan struggled to his feet, his gloves glowing brightly as he tried to gather his strength. “We have to stop him before he destroys everything!”
Doms nodded, his face determined. “We just need to hit him harder. Come on, Nathan, we’ve got this!”
Zara, who had also gotten back up, focused her energy, her staff glowing brighter than ever. “We have to combine our powers again. It’s the only way.”
Nathan looked at the glowing stones in his hands—the essence of the Flame, Earth, and Water. They had come so far, fought so many battles, and now they were facing their final challenge. The Violet King had to be stopped, no matter what.
“Let’s do it,” Nathan said, his voice filled with resolve.
He raised the stones high, and immediately, the power within them began to surge. The flames from the Earth’s Core, the strength of the Earth’s Heart, and the calm energy of the Water’s Soul merged together, creating a powerful aura of glowing light around the three friends.
The Violet King roared in defiance, raising his hands to unleash one final, massive wave of violet energy. The storm above crackled with energy, and the ground trembled as the Violet King gathered his power for a final strike.
But Nathan, Doms, and Zara were ready.
“Now!” Nathan shouted.
With a mighty cry, they unleashed the combined power of the three stones. Flames, water, and the earth’s strength swirled together, forming a massive beam of energy that shot straight toward the Violet King.
The Violet King roared in fury, raising his hands to block the attack, but the power of the three stones was too much. The beam of energy struck him full force, and the violet energy around him began to crack and falter.
“No!” the Violet King screamed, his voice filled with rage. “I cannot be defeated!”
But the combined power of the Flame, Earth, and Water was unstoppable. The beam of energy grew brighter and brighter, overwhelming the Violet King’s defenses. His armor cracked, and the violet energy surrounding him shattered like glass.
With one final, deafening roar, the Violet King was consumed by the light. The storm above them exploded with a flash of lightning, and then, just as suddenly as it had begun, it was over.
The Violet King was gone.
Nathan, Doms, and Zara stood there, breathing heavily, the glow of the stones slowly fading. The storm clouds began to clear, and the sky above them returned to its normal, peaceful blue.
“We... we did it,” Doms said, his voice filled with awe.
Nathan looked down at the stones in his hands, feeling the weight of everything they had accomplished. “Yeah,” he said quietly. “We really did.”
Zara smiled, leaning on her staff. “The Violet King is gone. The world is safe.”
For a moment, the three of them stood there in silence, letting the reality of their victory sink in. They had faced impossible odds, fought powerful enemies, and now they had saved the world.
But Nathan knew that their journey wasn’t quite over yet. There were still questions to be answered, and the power of the stones still pulsed faintly in his hands, as if reminding him that their story wasn’t finished.
“We should head back,” Nathan said, finally breaking the silence. “There’s still a lot to do.”
Doms grinned, slinging an arm around Nathan’s shoulders. “Yeah, but for now, we can take a break. We deserve it.”
Zara nodded in agreement. “Let’s go home.”
As they turned to leave the battlefield, the sky above them was clear, and the sun shone brightly on the world they had saved. The Violet King was gone, and peace had finally returned.
But deep in Nathan’s heart, he knew that their adventure wasn’t truly over. There would always be new challenges, new dangers, and new adventures waiting for them. But whatever came next, he knew that he, Doms, and Zara would face it together.Download Novelah App
