Surprised, they all went down to the kitchen after the housemaid called them, as Gaby was busy in the kitchen. The helpers set the dining table while Gaby was busy transferring the food into the bowls. Even Jeff, Isabel, and Franco were surprised. Gaby smiled as she saw everyone standing at the dining-room door.
"Good morning …" Gaby said, smiling. "Why are you still standing there? Let's have breakfast together."
Everyone acted at once and sat down in front of the long table. Gaby prepared a variety of food. Gaby glanced at Dylan but immediately looked away, and Gaby smiled at Clark.
"Why do you look like that? You can't believe it." Gaby said, laughing. Gaby sat down next to Isabel and looked at everyone. She felt the pain of being able to make her look at Dylan. He smiled as he talked to Matt. Unbeknownst to Gaby, Clark was watching her.
"Didn't you sleep last night, Gaby?" Riki suddenly asked.
Gaby glanced at Riki. "Not so much."
"Why? Are you feeling anything?" Franco asked.
Gaby chuckled. "Nothing, dad. I have cooked delicious breakfast, and those are good for health."
"I didn't know you could cook, bratty," said Jeff
Instead of being annoyed with Jeff, Gaby just smiled and took a deep breath. Gaby finds it difficult to control her emotions, so she needs to take a deep breath because otherwise, she might suddenly burst into tears or have a heart attack. Isabel and Franco also look at Dylan and then glance at Gaby.
"I guess everything you cooked, Gaby, was our favorite. How did you find out all our favorites, huh?" Ashlee asked.
Gaby didn't answer. She just glanced at Clark, then smiled.
Flashback…
Clark came downstairs that night to get cold water from the fridge when he saw Gaby holding his chest while one hand covered his mouth. Gaby was crying as he approached her. Clark heard someone talking in the kitchen, but he didn't realize who it was; he was worried about Gaby's condition.
"Clark …" Gaby whispered. "M-movie r-room … Pl-please." Gaby had difficulty speaking due to holding back crying, but Clark understood that.
Clark helped Gaby to walk, but she was too weak, so he lifted Gaby. Gaby was squeezing her face on Clark's chest while continuing to cry. When they entered the film room, he carefully lowered Gaby, but she still hugged him. Gaby didn't stop crying, and he didn't stop her either. They were in that position for almost an hour; he also hugged Gaby and caressed her back. Clark didn't know why Gaby was crying like that. Gaby calmed down after about an hour and a half of crying.
Gaby recounted what she heard talk from the kitchen and cried again. Even though Clark was shocked by what he heard, he also couldn’t explain how he felt at that moment. Clark also felt heavier. Clark didn't want to believe, but how Gaby cried confirmed what he was saying was true.
"I'm going to be unfair to you now, Clark," said Gaby. Clark looked at Gaby. "I-I want to be with Dylan in his last days. I-I know I'm going to hurt you b-but ...... but I hope you can bear it … you'll understand …."
Clark hugged Gaby. "Do what you want. I'm just here for you and Dylan …."
Clark couldn't stop himself from crying. He and Dylan are considered more than brothers, so it is also painful for him to know that Dylan will only be in the world for a month. That's why he's willing to give up Gaby, as long as Dylan doesn't die.

Gaby approached Dylan, who was then sitting on the sofa bed near the swimming pool. Gaby was carrying an ice cream cone. She sat down next to Dylan and handed him a cone of ice cream.
"You like?" Gaby asked.
Dylan smirked and took the ice cream from Gaby. "Didn't you spit it out?"
"Ha! Geez, it's like you didn't kiss me. Tss …" Gaby said.
Dylan's laughter grew louder, so everyone turned towards them. Clark silently looked at them in the distance.
"All right, just make fun of me," Gaby said, then licked the ice cream she was holding.
"I'd love to kiss than this ice cream," said Dylan
Before Gaby could answer, Dylan held her hand holding ice cream and ate her ice cream.
Gaby was surprised at what Dylan did. "W-what, did you do? You have your own." Gaby said.
Dylan laughed. "It's better to eat when you share food. We used to do this, didn't we?"
Gaby was stunned for a moment. Then slightly smiled. "I remember, we used to do this in Canada. Sharing food," said Gaby.
Dylan chuckled. "You remember when the homeowner almost sued us that Robby broke the glass, and we were the ones accused?" said Dylan.
Gaby smiled. "I do remember that. Thank God Gali came and saved us. I was so frightened that I thought we were going to jail."
"It was the first time I've ever seen you cry. I feel so sorry for you that you cry, and nobody else can calm you down but me," said Dylan.
It was as if something was pinching Gaby's heart at that moment. "I did remember that. Even Gali can't stop me from crying, but you made it easy. I remember you saying something that saved my tears. I don't remember your words. Remember that thing you said to me?" said Gaby.
Dylan stared at her. "Yes, I remember because you were the first person I said that word too," said Dylan
"What'd you say to me?" Gaby asked.
Dylan smiled sweetly at her.
Flashback …
Mrs. Martin brought them to the police station after Robby, one of their friends in the village, made a fool of the old lady. He said Mrs. Martin was rude and always got angry every time they played next to her house. That's why Robby threw stones at Mrs. Martin's house and broke its window. Coincidentally, Gaby and Dylan passed by, whom the old woman accused.
“I remember them. They’re playing on across my yard all the time. They’re messy and loud, and even when I was asleep, they wouldn’t mind. I’m sure it was them who broke my window. ” Mrs. Martin said
“That’s not true! We passed by when she took us and made us come here by force for some unknown reason. We didn’t break her window, as she said. She lies! ” said Gaby.
“That’s not a lie, officer. The reason you stoned my window is that you are mad at me every time I reprimand you for not making noise when I am asleep. ” Mrs. Martin said
“We are telling the truth, officer. We have no reason to stone her window, and one more thing, we don’t argue with her. She knows that. She didn’t know us until she saw us on the vacant lot, and now she wasn’t sure, and she had no proof that we were the ones who stoned her window. ” Dylan said.
“I beg your pardon, but I am the victim here. They did me harm, and I was hoping you could put them in jail. ” Mrs. Martin added
“You are no longer ashamed of yourself. At that age, you are still good at lying. Perhaps this is how your parents raised you. ” Gaby said.
Gaby was slowly crying. Gali arrived at the perfect time, Gaby's older brother. He immediately hugged Gaby and then confronted the police and the old woman.
“I’m her older brother, and as her brother, I’m entitled to speak as her guardian. The accusation against these two young people are baseless, and there is no evidence to prove that they stoned the window of this old lady. ” Said Gali. He turned to the old woman and stared at her. “If you show us enough evidence to teach these two young people what you’re charging them with, I’ll bring them to the police station myself. But since your only evidence is your broken window and your word, we can file a formal complaint. Is this possible, officer? ” Gali asked.
“Yes, it is. Are you going to file a complaint against her? ” asked a policeman.
“Gaby, Dylan. We can file a complaint against her. Do you want to file a report? ” Gali asked the two.
Gaby couldn't speak politely. She was crying unceasingly.
“See what you did, old lady? I know my sister very well, and she is innocent. She keeps crying till her name is cleared. ” Said Gali
The old woman fell silent. Gali comforted her brother, but he did not stop crying. Dylan grabbed Gaby's hand and forced it up, and sat down in the vacant seat. Then he took her hand and whispered to the girl, who calmed her down.
