Matt sat down next to Clark.  Matt took Clark's hand of the ice cream cone and handed it a new one.  He threw away the melted ice cream and gave Clark a tissue.
"I know you're unlucky now, dude, but don't fall in love with me. I know my charisma is strong."  Matt joked.
"Tsk, you're pure bullshit," said Clark
"You're too serious a dude," said Matt.  Clark looked to where Gaby and Dylan were.  "Don't be jealous now, dude. They need each other at a time like this."
Clark looked at Matt.  'Does he know about Dylan?'  Clark thought.
"Why would they need each other?"  Clark asked.
"Let's say there are things that are hard to say, just like telling the truth to the person you love," said Matt
Clark didn't speak anymore, and he just took a deep breath.  Clark was surprised when Matt took the ice cream cone he was holding.
"You're wasting food. If you don't want ice cream, I'll eat it, okay?" said Matt.
"You're greedy," said Clark
Matt just laughed, then bowed.  'Geez, my heart is in pain. It is as if I've been dumped a thousand times, damn.'  Matt thought.

The days passed quickly, though hurt; Clark endured every moment that Gaby and Dylan were together.  Occasionally he joins them when they go out so that Dylan can bond as well.  Unexpectedly, in less than a month, Dylan's body had given up.
They caught up with Sasha, Ashlee, Riki, and Belle all in the hospital.  Matt called them that Dylan had been rushed into the hospital, they were surprised to see Dylan’s situation at that moment.
"What happened to Dylan?"  Sasha asked.
Sasha couldn't be bothered to see how her Auntie looked.  "Auntie, what happened to Dylan?"
Matt approached Sasha, then hugged and whispered.  "Dylan's leaving us."
Sasha pushed Matt away.  "What? Are you stupid? Don't joke like that. You're not funny." annoyed Sasha said.
No one spoke at all.  Gaby was sitting next to Dylan's bed, and behind it was Clark standing.  Dylan was asleep at that moment.
"You all know?" Sasha said. She's still couldn't believe what was happening.
"I don't know this either …" Riki said.
"Me too," Belle said, crying
"Gaby, let the doctor check you first, please. You're getting pale," said Clark.
"What if Dylan wakes up, and he can't find me? He'll look for me," said Gaby.
True enough, because Dylan always looks for her every time he wakes up and before bed.  And because of that, Gaby has almost neglected herself as well.  Clark, however, is always supportive of Gaby.
"You have to be strong Gaby, if you neglected yourself, Dylan might let himself go too. Please come with me just a moment."  Clark said.
Dylan's mommy approached Gaby.  "Gaby, you need to look up for yourself too. Please, let the doctor check you."
Reluctantly, Gaby agreed.  Franco and Isabel accompanied her.  Clark would have followed when Dylan held his hand.

Clark sat next to Dylan's bed. Dylan was crying while holding Clark's hand.  His voice was also weak.  Dylan continued to cry, and so did everyone there.
"D-dude, sorry for hurting you again," Dylan said weakly.
"Tss, it's okay. I can tolerate pain; I'm willing to get hurt over and over again," said Clark.  "I only have one request."
Everyone looked at Dylan and Clark.  "Let Gaby accompany you until the very end," said Clark.  "I know you prefer not to see Gaby hurt anymore, but sending you off is the best way to lessen the pain. I don't want you to do to Gaby what Bianca did to me."
Meanwhile, Gaby was restless; before her tests were over, she ran back to Dylan's room.  Franco and Isabel were left in the room.
"Gaby is stressed; she needs a break. Stress is not good for her body; she overthinks." said the doctor.
Franco and Isabel looked at each other.
In the room where Dylan was, Gaby noticed that everyone was outside except Clark.  All of their friends and Dylan's parents were outside the room.  Gaby immediately opened the door, and she found Clark getting angry and yelling at Dylan.
"What are you doing, Clark?"  Gaby asked.
"Gaby ..." Clark said in shock.
"Can't you control yourself? Can't you avoid being hot-tempered?" annoyed Gaby said.
"You don't understand …" Clark said.
"Clark …" Dylan said softly.
Clark took a deep breath he stared at Dylan.  Dylan nodded slightly, so Clark turned around and left the room.  Everyone was looking at Clark as he walked out the door.
"What happened inside? Why Gaby angry?"  Riki asked.
Clark's tears flowed, and he quickly turned away from them.  Clark was about to go to the chapel when he met Franco and Isabel.  Isabel was crying.

"I know Gaby won't allow it," said Clark
Franco, Isabel, and Clark sat in the vacant seat.  It wasn't far from Dylan's room.  Clark recounted that Dylan had said goodbye to his friends and parents.  Gaby was the last one he wanted to talk to.
"I'll just talk to the doctor; maybe she can still go through the medicine like before," said Isabel.
The mob looked at them in the room where the friends were.  The three of them stood up and quickly approached there.
A few days later, as Dylan instructed, he preferred not to be mourned because he wanted to avoid seeing everyone crying, so cremation was done on Dylan's corpse.  Everyone is sad while Dylan is at their house.  Gaby can't talk to everyone, and she is always with Franco and Isabel because of her deteriorating health.  Clark wasn't there that day, and no one knew where he was.
Dylan's mother sat down next to Gaby.  "This is his last will, Gaby. So, I hope you've agreed."
Gaby was crying at that moment.  She seemed to have difficulty breathing because of her restraint.  "You're still what he thought before he died, don't waste my son's heart," said Dylan's mother.
"Do you know why Clark was angry that day?" everyone turned to Matt.  "He's angry because Dylan didn't fight. Clark begged Dylan to fight, have a second opinion to the other doctors, and he'll let you go to Dylan. Even if it hurts for him, he'll let you go to Dylan. You're both important to him, so he's very hurt. Dylan is also tolerant, and he will give his heart to you because he knows it will help you. It's also difficult for Auntie and Uncle to decide and follow their son's request. Be considerate, Gaby."
"Matt!" said Sasha
"I know you're hurting, Gaby, because everyone here feels the same way. We love Dylan, and it's painful for all of us to lose him. If you're blaming yourself for Dylan saving you, so he's gone, open up you, have your eyes. No one is blaming you; Dylan's decision to protect you from that moment. " Added Matt.
"Matt, you've stopped."  Belle scolded.
