A terrifying pressure stiffened the breath of everyone as they felt incredibly weak and helpless before the people that just appeared . The eyes of the old ancestor constricted with fear as he recognized one of the people that appeared as the mysterious powerhouse that set up the barrier in Darknorth Forest . That single attack of his that left him badly injured , still have him nightmares .
 He gulped nervously as he tried to go back and make himself non descript as soon as possible but to his horror , he discovered that he could not move a single step back at all . The dark queen narrowed her eyes when she noticed the abnormal reaction of Irisha . Suddenly , her eyes opened wide in astonishment as she seemed to have remembered something .
 The whole environment became calm , silent and serene as it welcomed the descent of superior powerhouses that could change the structure of the world with a single thought . My indifferent and cold eyes swept pass everyone , briefly stopping on Irisha before it stopped at the figure of the old ancestor . "Devouring aura ". a deep frown surfaced on my face as I noticed the unique aura of the devourers on him .
 Clive who was wearing helmet was not recognized by the people present . His aura surged as he noticed the peculiarity of the aura on the old ancestor . After the intense slaughter and savagery of the devourers in the sage world , the people of the martial palace hated the devourers with passion . The old ancestor felt immense pressure as we both looked at him .
 "Your majesty , he had taken the path of the devourers ". Clive said coldly as his killing intent intensified . I nodded slightly as I simply ordered "kill!". Boooom!!!! the aura of Clive exploded as he grabbed towards the old ancestor . "Wait!!! , I can explain ". The old ancestor said hurriedly as Intense devouring laws circulated around him as he tried to fight back with all his might . "You deserve to die !!! ". Clive said with immense anger as his destruction laws smashed the devouring laws apart and slammed into the figure of the old ancestor.
 Bang !!! the body of the old ancestor started disintegrating bit by bit as he started to fade away . Instense rage and hatred clouded the face of the old ancestor as he said sinisterly . "It will not end here , we will meet again ". He threatened . My face was still cold and impassive when I heard his threat , I did not put him in my eyes at all because in front of my future opponents , he was just an ant or even less than an ant .
 The whole place became dead silent when they watched the all powerful old ancestor die without being able to resist at all . The dark lion king tried to put on a forced smile as he bowed in respect . "It is an honour to meet both seniors ". We glanced at him and looked away without saying a single word . His face became flushed with embarrassment as he just stood there with his bowing posture without knowing what to do again. He wished that the ground will directly swallow him and save him from his predicament .
 Finally ,my gaze centered on Irisha as we seemed to be drawn into the world of our own . My expression was still cold and emotionless as I looked at her . I had imagined that the moment I saw her , I would be done with my vengeance mission and leave without the slightest hesitation but still upon laying my eyes on that figure , my calm heart wavered . 
 No matter how strong or invicible you are , a human being still have emotions and sometimes emotions are a little hard to control . "It's been a long time ". I managed to say in a hoarse voice as I tried to suppress my turbulent emotions and remain cold and distant as ever . A shade of happiness flashed in her eyes but it soon dimmed as she said . "I am glad that you are still alive ". 
 That statement sounded sacarstic to me and it brought back painful memories as I seem to go back to the day , the assassin tried to kill me . 
 (FLASHBACK)
 "Is it Irisha that wants my life ?". I asked the assassin . "Yes , it is the saint daughter ". the assassin answered calmly . 
 (Back to present ) 
 I clenched my fists tightly as my emotions became unsteady , my aura flutuated greatly as the sky of the entire dark sect changed . Rumble !!!! lightening and thunder raged in the sky as a terrifying pressure brought everyone to their knees . Bang!!! bang!!! everyone in the sect was kneeling down on the ground and some weaker ones were directly pressed down on the ground without any resistance . 
 Both the dark queen and the dark lion king was kneeling down with an ugly expression on their faces as they have never suffered such kind of humiliation . A worried look appeared on the face of Clive as he saw my unstable emotions. He wanted to say something but in the end he sighed and stepped back . The martial lord needed to resolve the past on his own or it will become a hindrance to his martial path. 
 Any obsession will soon become a heart demon that will influence one's breakthrough into the Lord realm in the future . Fear and helplessness clouded the expressions of the people present in the central palace as they have never felt so weak and powerless before .They were standing at the peak of the martial world but now , they were like mortals waiting to be slaughtered in front of such terrifying being .
 "Why!!!!". My eyes were red as I asked her . I wanted to know the reason she wanted to kill me . I saved her , feed her but yet I was been repaid back with a killing order . Irisha was looking at my angry face as she shivered intensely and muttered with teary eyes . "I am sorry Drex , I am sorry for putting you all through the pains you have passed through because of me ". Bang !! something seemed to have shattered apart in my heart . 
 I had little hope of expecting her to say that it was not her that ordered the assassination but it seems like I thought too much. I smiled weakly as a single tear slid down my cheek . A man can not cry but damn !! , men are beings with emotions too . A warily smile appeared on my face as I still discovered that I could not even develop a slightest killing intent towards her when I saw her weak , frail and pitiful outlook before me . 
 She had leaned considerably and had become a bit bony , even her beautiful eyes became a bit sunken which showed the intense worry and suffering she had been through these past months . I could not do it ! , I could not kill her . I took a deep breath as I tried to calm my emotions down . Irisha was still looking at my face with rapt attention without looking away even from a minute . 
 She had so many things to say to me , so many stories and questions she wanted to hear and ask but seeing the fact that I still blamed her for what happened , she decided not to say anything about her master but take the entire blame upon herself . She was afraid that I will kill her master if she said the actual culprit behind the assassination but her decision made it that we will never be together again . 
 I seemed to have arrived at a certain decision as I said coldly. " I will not take account of what happened in the past but today , I have severed all ties with you . We will become strangers from now on ". The body of Irisha shook intensely as she clenched her fists tightly , she forced a smile on her face as she said . "Thank you ". it was a good thing that I did not start a massacre here . 
 The eyes of the dark queen became complicated as she watched this . With her countless years of experience , she knew that her disciple was trying to cover up for her . Her disciple have never forgotten me for a single day and she hoped that I was still alive out there but now she saw herself caught in between her master and Drex , sadly she had to take a step back and allow her master to live at the expense of severing ties with the one she loved . 
 The dark queen that hardly showed any emotions on her face had tears clouding her eyes . She had been selfish all these while and she had made Irisha suffer . She can not stay here and allow her to experience deep pain again , her pride will not allow it. Suddenly , splurt !!! Irisha vommitted blood as she collapsed on the ground with a pale face . I sent my divine sense out as I muttered "Poison" . Her whole body was already eaten up by the poison and it was a miracle that she was still alive . 
 "Noooo!!". The dark queen screamed with deep pain and sorrow when she saw the condition of Irisha . She flashed and appeared beside her , holding her . She turned with extreme rage and glared at me . "You fool !! , I was the one that ordered the assassination , she is innocent . How can she have the heart to kill the only person she loved !".
