Special Chapter and Introduction of Book 3
"Wow. Just wow. I'm out of words, really." Yuki approached them on stage with a slow clap and wearing a gratified grin. "You're a genius, Won. Enhypen, Park Hyejin and Park Sunghoon are the trending hashtags right now. You did well, leader cat. You all did a very great job."
"I just do what I think is best for the group. Thank you for trusting me, Yuki." Jungwon responded, then fixed back his eyes on Hyejin but she was nowhere to be found.
"I don't know but I feel guilty for almost ruining a great performance. I choked on the bridge part, Yuki. It's just that, I never expected to see Park Hyejin's flawless move." Heeseung felt shameful for his minor mistake.
"I was also late for two seconds during my part. It's too hard not to stare, Yuki. Sunghoon Hyung moves so seamlessly, I was blown away." Sunoo also admitted his guilt and admiration.
"I was holding myself tight because I feel like I'm going to fall off my chair. Hoon and Hyejin were so spectacular to look at." Jake agreed.
"Agree. No cap for that." Jay came to be in harmony with Jake.
"Glad I got only small lines and gaining slight focus. If not, the whole world saw my jaw dropped on the floor. Hyung, that was so sick!" Ni-Ki grabbed hold the grinning Sunghoon on his side.
"Alright, this is enough. You go hit the dressing room and dry up. You all smell like onions." Yuki jested. "But Hee and Won, I need you two to come with me. I'll wait for you outside."
Jungwon nodded but his emotions are going off the shelves. He wanted to see Hyejin but he can't seem to do it given the chaotic scene outside the waiting room.
"Won--" Sunghoon halted him with a light snag on his back.
"You did great, Hyung. I couldn't thank you enough for safeguarding Hyejin--"
"Don't mention it. You did better than me for protecting Hyejin. I just want to say that you're now free to love her fully. I won't interfere anymore. Take good care of my cousin just the way you take care of us. Can you do that, leader cat?"
"W-Well--" Jungwon was inarticulate for a moment. "Of coure, yeah. I can do that. I-I do--"
"Look at you. You look like a wet, unhinged kitty cat. Get out of here." Sunghoon pushed him out while dying in laughter.
He felt like is walking on air, a some sense of happiness along his needed route. It felt like everything is falling into place, favored and ratified.
"Oops! Wrong room, leader cat." Yuki prevented his entry.
"What's going on, Yuki?" he asked, then quickly chuckled seeing it was occupied by Aerin and the ever clingy Lee Heeseung on his girlfriend's side.
"Take that one. And don't forget to lock the door. Ah, I can't believe I made myself as a tryst lookout. I'm not even paid for this." Yuki muttered beyond belief.
Jungwon dashed his way in, strides longer than what he used to do before, like a child enclosed with joy running to see his anticipated gift.
Waiting rooms are cold and shabby but he felt the opposite. He held his breathe as he begins to enter.
In that quiet moment, when all the world is put on pause, when he is so very lucky to see right into her eyes, he have a wordless definition for joy.
"Hi." Hyejin shyly greeted, hair's tousled after taking her bun out.
She's looking tired but her smile's still wide. Her skates were scattered across the floor and Jungwon can see her reluctant steps to move closer.
"Hi." he smiled, triggering the dimpling on his cheeks. "You were amazing out there, like, really. I don't know what to say--"
She's a monster on ice but behind close doors, Hyejin is melting on Jungwon's gaze. After the glare of the spotlights, she found her sanctuary in his black twilight eyes. She took the courage to get her feet running, into his arms and placing a kiss upon his cheek.
"I love you, Jagiya." her warm voice spoke all the love she could've give.
Processing the enormity of what Hyejin did, Jungwon stood still, dazzled, at a loss for words. There is a counter-emotion that he wants to stay with her too, for a little more time. He grabbed her fast and hugged her tight for there is no finer praise. His hug was of strong arms that tells nothing but his boundless love.
"Ah," she gushed. "How could this ever be real? You're hugging me but still, I miss you more."
"It's because we too busy with the gala performance we can't find a time for just a simple cuddle." Jungwon hushed back, tucking her hair on her ear.
"I wish this will last forever. I don't want this moment to end."
"There's nothing to worry about for this moment will last. I promise you that. And since the gala is already over, I'll make it up to you, but first, can I--" Jungwon held his breath for a moment, took time to look at her face once more.
"Can I kiss you?" Jungwon stopped, his eyes focused on her lips. "Because I'm dying to do it again the moment you set yourself in front of me all dressed up in my favorite baby blue." his soul speak words that radiated from his heart to his finger tips.
In that eureka moment there came a cheshire grin, for she was always most happy in that rush of his beams. Hyejin nodded without hesitation and ushered herself to take Jungwon's longing kisses.
In their most sensual kiss, their world stopped still on its axis. There was no time, no wind, no rain nor hail. Hyejin's mind was at peace. Jungwon's love is something beyond compare. Pure. Unselfish. Undemanding. Free. She felt her body press in, soft and warm. This was the love she'd waited for and desired to have. She inwardly thanked God and hugged all of him tighter. A love like theirs deserves to be cherished for life.
Holding each other's hand, they took their way out. The hallway was empty as they walk along but was ceased by a group of six girls running and approaching their way. Jungwon stopped, gently putting their entwined hand on his back, as he politely bends to accept the new artists greetings.
"Anyeonghasseyo, Sunbaenim!" they all greeted at once.
The last girl stood up last. Inwardly shy for she didn't looked at Jungwon in the eye but caught Hyejin's full attention when she starts to move in with her group.
"Ri, move now." their manager ordered the girl, putting the group to walk faster.
"W-Wait--" Hyejin tried to stop her but failed.
"That's Vi6en. Do you know someone in there?" Jungwon was worried seeing the staggered look on her face.
"I can't be wrong." she looked back again only to find the group gone in a flash.
"Is there a problem, Jagiya?"
"Jagiya--" Hyejin was quite reluctant to ask but proceeds to do it anyway. "Are you familiar with the member's names?"
"You mean, Vi6en? Not really. They're newbies. I think their leader's name is Anne. Hyori, their maknae and the last girl was Riri, the group's all rounder. Why?"
"Jagiya--" Hyejin leaped and clasped into Jungwon's arms. "We need to find Sunghoon Oppa."

(Introduction of Book 3)
"Where do you think you're going? The interview room is on the other side." Yuki stood firm on his ground, arms crossed, like a lion protecting it's den.
Sunghoon smirked, adamant to Yuki's intimidating stance. "I saw Hee and Jungwon took this way."
"They both have special interviews to make and it's ongoing now, so this way is totally restricted. Go back to the waiting room, Hoon."
"Special interview your ass, Yuki. You can't fool me. I know Choi Aerin and Hyejin were there too, you old pimp!" Sunghoon laughed out loud.
"What did you call me, young man?" Yuki was perplexed by the sudden rib.
"Nothing." Sunghoon lets out a throaty chortle and begins to step back after seeing Yuki's furious face.
"Don't go in there too! That's Vi6en's waiting room! Go back in your own lounge, Hoon!"
Sunghoon chuckled with Yuki's grumpy tone. It was with random moments that he felt free to laugh and it took a while to have that laugh back again.
He's an introvert. His colours are as muted as those around him, always hiding in plain sight. With his primate brain he can only ever truly love the friends and family in her small circle. That's just the way he is wired. Yet he still hurt to hear of pain of people he deeply cared about but empathy does not allow him to switch off. Sometimes, he also want to reach out, to bring light where there is dark, but he's an herd animal at heart - just a strand of wheat in the vastness of the meadows.
"Oops! Sorry. I was quite in a hurry!"
That slow bump wasn't forceful enough to adequately shake his world. But her voice.
It's the voice the took him to the clouds and beyond, to the greens and trees, to dandelions and flowers that attract bees, to the skies, to the mysterious heaven. To his own piece of hell.
Sunghoon took the courage to wear his full gear. He knows his face is deadly. It could kill someone especially an enemy. Meeting her again is never in his books but fate has some serious play. It took him out in time when he wasn't quite ready.
"Are you hurt? I'm so sorry-" the girl is panicking and accidentally parted the man's hair revealing his entire face.
She froze. Her words were totally stuck on her throat while she looked at him with big, frightful eyes.
"S-Sunbaenim--"
He answered the girl with a lazy scowl. His violent temper is sleeping within and it finally awaken. But seeing her fearful face, he was guarded down. Nobody else could do it but only her.
"H-Hoon--" she tried to reach him again but swayed so easily.
Sunghoon turned back, totally ignoring her voice of hurtful plea. His feet is off for an escape but his brain, given it as the dominant part of his entire system, is signalling a stop. He turned around but only to meet her stares with his cold eyes.
"Welcome to Hybe, Kim Seri."
