CHAPTER THIRTEEN ♡
At the hotel....
Here is where Bryce and Lucas are now, at the hotel where the event is taking place. Before opening the door to the room, Lucas suddenly received a phone call and told Bryce that he needed to take it. Lucas left Bryce standing alone in front of the door.
Bryce, seeing Lucas slowly disappear from his view, let it be. He grabbed the door handle to enter.
Creak... the sound of the door opening...
Something was odd after Bryce opened the door. He looked at his watch to check the time. After confirming the time on his watch, he looked into the room again.
"Has the event finished? Or did Lucas and I come too early?" Bryce muttered, seeing only darkness inside the room.
Bryce tried to call Lucas, but Lucas didn't answer. Irritated, he was about to leave the room. However, his steps halted when he heard the voice he dearly missed and loved calling his name.
"BRYCE!" the voice called out.
Thinking he was imagining things, Bryce continued his journey. "Oh my, I miss her so much that I'm imagining she's calling my name," Bryce said to himself.
"HONEY! DON'T YOU MISS ME?" the voice called out again, this time with a slightly annoyed tone.
"Am I going crazy now, hearing that voice again?" Bryce mumbled to himself.
"Hiks... honeyyy..." Fiolet called out a little annoyed, feeling ignored by her boyfriend.
Bryce, hearing her voice again, turned around. He was shocked to see the girl who had been making him upset due to her silence standing before him, illuminated only by a lamp. It was Fiolet. YES, FIOLET, HIS, standing right in front of him.
She looked incredibly beautiful and sexy tonight in a dress that matched her blouse. The sleeveless dress had a slit from her thigh to the end of her leg, adorned with scattered glitter around the dress, making her appearance even more enticing to the men. Her makeup, not too heavy, gave her a more mature look even though she was only 22 years old.
"B...baby...? Is that really you?" Bryce asked, still feeling like he was dreaming.
"Of course, honey, I'm here now. Don't you want to hug me, honey...?" Fiolet asked, pouting cutely.
Bryce ran towards Fiolet and hugged her tightly, as if afraid she would disappear again if he didn't hold her tightly enough. They embraced each other, and suddenly the lights in the room were turned on.
Bryce, still closing his eyes while hugging his sweetheart, didn't realize there were many pairs of eyes witnessing the reunion of the two lovers.
Fiolet patted Bryce's shoulder gently and said, "Honey, save the cuddling for later."
"Ah, Baby... I want to keep hugging you. I miss you so much," Bryce replied.
"But honey... there are many people here... open your eyes now," Fiolet said, gently stroking Bryce's muscular shoulder.
Bryce opened his eyes but reluctantly released the embrace. He squinted as he just opened his eyes. After his vision cleared, he could see his parents and Fiolet's family in front of him. Still shocked, he then heard a cheerful round of applause from behind him. Bryce let go of their embrace and turned his head to see who was applauding.
Bryce was surprised again to see many people in the room. Fiolet, feeling Bryce release his hug, ran towards the back to get the cake that had been prepared.
"Happy birthday to you... Happy birthday to you... Happy birthday, Happy birthday, Happy birthday to you..."
The guests sang a birthday song for Bryce. Bryce, realizing that Fiolet was no longer by his side, panicked. He hadn't even realized it was his own celebration today. Lost in his sorrow, he forgot that today was the day he was being celebrated.
"Happy Birthday, honey!" Fiolet said to Bryce, carrying a cake with the number 27 on it. After hearing the words from his sweetheart, Bryce realized that today was his birthday. Overwhelmed by the emotions, he kissed Fiolet on the forehead in front of everyone present.
"Aww... how sweet," cheered all the guests present, seeing Bryce, who usually appeared cold, being romantic to his partner.
Fiolet blushed at the cheering. She asked Bryce to make a wish and blow out the candles in front of him.
After blowing out the candles, Bryce proceeded to cut the cake and distributed it to his loved ones, including his loyal friend Lucas.
The birthday party went smoothly according to the plan that had been arranged. Bryce stared sharply at his friend for daring to deceive him. However, his stare faded when he felt a tiny hand stroking his fingers. The owner of that hand was his beloved.
"Don't be mad at Lucas. Initially, he didn't want to, but my mom and I forced him. So, after being threatened by my mom, he agreed to help both of us," Fiolet explained with a chuckle.
"Hrmm... you're starting to be naughty, Baby! I'll punish you later," Bryce said to Fiolet softly.
Fiolet just pouted playfully and stood up from her chair because she felt a rebellion in her stomach and wanted to fill it up soon.
Seeing this, Bryce followed Fiolet from behind as he didn't want to be away from his girlfriend. They both ate at a table specially set for them to make their time more romantic.
After the meal, Bryce watched Fiolet drinking her juice with one hand resting on the table. He took one of Fiolet's hands to hold it and looked into her eyes, which had just glanced at him.
"Baby... don't do that again, okay?" Bryce asked.
"What do you mean?" Fiolet asked, not understanding what Bryce meant.
"You didn't respond to any of my calls and messages. I almost went crazy thinking if I did something wrong to you," Bryce replied.
Seeing the sincere look in Bryce's eyes, Fiolet felt guilty for ignoring her boyfriend for so long. She gently caressed Bryce's hand.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to ignore you. I won't do it again," Fiolet whispered, feeling remorseful for hurting her man.
"Hurft... alright. Don't lower your head, baby, or your crown will fall off. I'm not angry at you anymore," Bryce said, holding Fiolet's hand tightly.
Two hours passed....
Bryce's birthday party had ended, and now they were all in their respective rooms to rest. Bryce's parents had also gone home earlier. However, Bryce still wanted to be with his beloved.
So, here Bryce was now, in Fiolet's hotel room. They had both cleaned themselves up. Earlier, Bryce had asked Lucas to buy clothes for him at the mall where Fiolet and her family had gone earlier that morning.
Now Bryce was sitting by the edge of the bed, waiting for his sweetheart to finish her skincare routine. Once again, he fell into the charm of the girl in front of him.
"Baby... are you done?" Bryce asked.
"I'm done, honey. Sorry for making you wait," Fiolet replied, stepping towards Bryce who was behind her.
"Baby, let's lie down for a while. I want to hug you while lying down," Bryce said, lifting Fiolet's petite body to be laid down on the bed.
They both shared stories about what had happened between them during their time apart. Fiolet also explained how this event had been planned. Bryce told Fiolet everything about himself as well.
An hour passed....
Fiolet, who was already tired, fell asleep in the embrace of her lover. Bryce, seeing Fiolet's peaceful face, smiled softly and kissed every part of Fiolet's face without missing a single spot.
Bryce slowly got up from Fiolet's bed and replaced his body with a body pillow for Fiolet to cuddle. He kissed Fiolet's lips and forehead again before leaving the room.
"Sleep tight, sweetheart... I love you so much more than you know," Bryce said, then went to the neighboring hotel room.
Knowing that the room next to Fiolet's was empty, Bryce immediately paid for that room so that he could always be close to his future wife. Bryce really wanted to sleep together with Fiolet, but he didn't want to do that because they weren't legally married in the eyes of religion and country.Download Novelah App
