“What is this right now? I already don’t know how many distractions, will throw upon tonight! Could we just be done and be satisfied with what we wanted” I said furiously while looking at him as he fixed himself to see for himself what’s the cause of the unexpected bell.
“Good evening, sir, here is your order for Ms.Zamier.” The delivery man said. After that, I pretended not to hear anything. He instantly returned to our place after he fixed the delivery in one of the places in his condo.
“I’m sorry for all the interruptions, Myre. I wanted to show you something. Come with me please.” He said using his innocent voice as he also felt guilty for all the distractions that happened this night.
After that, I let myself go with him, surprisingly I saw all of our loved ones in one favorite spot in his place. My tears can’t stop falling like it is the ending of everything. How could this man be with me, how blessed and grateful I am?
“Sshh don’t cry Myre, tonight I wanted to say in front of our loved one how grateful I am to be with you. I know that there are so many suitors around you but you chose me as the blessed man to come into your life, no matter how wounded you are. Still, you are open to show me all of your side. No matter what the world brings, you always remember that you’ll never be alone. In expressing and exploring all of your sides, I will be right behind you to say repeatedly that you are worth it and they can’t let you down, as I’ve seen your growth each time that the chains of life tighten in your life and fill your nights like morning with tears. I wanted to say that no matter how your fears and doubt come into your senses, it will not win, because I know how strong enough you are to face everything and in front of all the people here in this place,, here is a ring as a sign of my promise that, no matter where this chaotic life bring us, no matter that you’ll continue,, your teaching profession and I will take over some of our business I will be with you in all of your sleepless nights.” He honestly said while taking a ring in his pocket and started wearing it on my finger and the people around us started to tease us and we immediately made what they say after then they all clapped and shouted as if there is no tomorrow nor end of time.
“You never fail to surprise me in your simple ways, huh?” I said to him once everyone was settled in their tables as he also prepared food in the place, such a man full of surprises, not knowing we were still in our sophomore year and still gonna make many ways till the goals we wanted for our lives.
“Well, I’ll always have many ways to ease your thoughts Myre, because seeing you smile and filled with tears of joy is such an endless moment for me.” He said and kissed me once again.
“Also I forgot, I hope you are done making your piece for the upcoming Annual Spoken Poetry.” He added.
“Yeah, I’m nearly done. Thanks for reminding me. Could we forget that for now and enjoy the things you prepared for tonight.” I said and we started routing different tables and talked to different people that we love the most.
“Thanks for everything you’ve done for my daughter, I hope that everything really has no end for the both of you or else I’ll split you into pieces.” My dad said to him so prankly but we know that it is just for us what he is telling.
“Don’t scare them dad, they know what they are doing and beforehand they already face different trials that really challenge their relationship at all, from being best friends until they successfully win it. So how can such things break them so easily.” My mom suddenly said where Christian suddenly interrupts our conversation and said “Dad was right he shall not make you fall into tears because of pains he will surely face my bare hands if that happens all along no matter that he is older than me.
“Sssh stop all of that , I know that he won’t do such things, right Alex?” I said and looked at him innocently, as all of my family was also looking at him.
“ Of course, how could I do such things if I couldn’t get at ease not seeing you each time.My days are incomplete, that much not seeing you now feeling your love.” he said, while looking into my eyes as if we were the only people here.
Before the night goes too much he suddenly goes in front and starts his final speech for tonight. “Before I started, let us call Myrtle Zamier the woman of the night to come here in front beside me.”
“Tonight, you all once again witnessed our love for each other and once again witnessed our promises to each other. We are grateful to all of you and for all of you to see our love each time, especially to our parents. We will not be here in this world and know each other without the four of you. You are the main reason why everything is happening right now. Aunt Claire and Uncle Bryzen, Thank you for bringing Myrtle into this world.” He said and once again everyone clapped their hands as our parents also stood up the time he called their attention.
“Thank you,Alexandrius, for everything, despite all of my fears and doubts, you really make everything easy to carry on no matter how heavy it is, and despite the fact you are not always saying what’s inside of you, you are still here beside me each time just to make me and all of the people here happy and enjoy each time.” I said and kissed him as he easily returned it with his magical passionate kiss.
