For some reason, only Tia was the one injured. Everyone else was in one piece. Even Gally, she only has small cuts and scratches but that's it. It's unbelievable how the animal only attack Tia to the point of dying. She had lost her consciousness as Gally keep telling her to keep her eyes open. Tia seems to be in a peaceful sleep. Red took charge as he saw how Chester is vulnerable, with puffy eyes as he holds Tia in his arms. Red urged everyone to hide as they found a cave near the river. It was a good thing that there's no creatures lurking around.
"Stop the bleeding first. Put pressure on it, give me something that I could use to tie her up."
Tammy spoke as everyone stare at her, wondering why she is doing this. Gally without hesitation look for anything that could help them.
"Is she for real? She's not actually killing Tia, right?"
Kyran whispered as Red give him a death glare."She's not. You better shut your mouth if you don't want to be like her." With that, Kyran decided to shut up as he stares at Tia with sympathy. It looks even worse than they expected, And Tia is losing a lot of blood. For a moment, Tammy was silent. She seems to be thinking about something. "What's wrong?" Gally ask as she sit beside Tia who's laying on the ground, face pale. Tammy exchange eye contacts with Aiden as he nodded in response. She took a deep breath before doing something that shock everyone.
"What the heck?!"
Rebel was the one who said that, and his expression matches with everyone else, beside Aiden and Red. Everyone was shocked to see Tammy using healing magic. It unbelievable since only The Assist can use those ability.
"Well, surprise."
Red spoke in a sing voice as he told the others that Tammy could actually use healing magic just like the Assist. "How is that even possible?" Enzo replied still shocked seeing Tammy using it so steadily.
"I was born with it." Tammy, who still has her eyes on Tia replied without looking. For some reason, Tammy could also use healing magic. She's Alpha, Abnormal and Assist. She was special, a rare being and nobody knows about this except for her friends. Although everyone was shocked with the sudden information, they were grateful indeed to know that Tia's not going to die. Chester seems to feel relieved too after watching Tammy heal Tia's wound.
"The bleeding stopped, she just needs a rest. She'll wake up in thirty minutes or so." Tammy spoke as she gather her stuff. "I'm going out for some air." She added as she wondered off the cave.
"She's like the ultimate weapon, she could even heal herself. That's so cool." Kyran spoke as he stares at Tammy with admiration.
"Dude, that's not how it works." Red rolled his eyes saying that those healers can't actually heal themselves, they could only do it for others.
"That sucks, but still cool." Kyran shrugged as he followed Tammy outside the cave, leaving the others.
Tia thought that she's going to die, she seriously thought that it's the end for her. But she could hear their voices, calling out to her. Telling her to stay alive.
She was relieved. At least, she's not dead. Not in this time. She opened her eyes slowly as she saw Gally staring down at her with puffy eyes. She must've cry,Tia thought as she tried to sit and feel confused that she doesn't feel any pain.
"What happened? Why can't I feel any pain?"
Tia was confused as she stared at Gally who was smiling weakly.
"Wait, I'm not really dead, am I?"
Tia spoke again as she stared at Gally with confusion. That made the girl laughs.
"You're alive. Thanks to Tammy."
Gally said as she told Tia about what happened. Although Tia did feel confused of why Tammy decided to help her. She was surprised to hear that Tammy could even use healing magic.Still, she was indebted to her.
"Where are the others?"
Tia asked as she noticed only her and Gally are there. "Outside, taking a break while waiting for you to wake up. Come on. Chester was worried about you."
When Gally mentioned Chester name, Tia feels glad. Because she remembers, Chester was crying before. Seeing that, Make Tia wonders. Would Ian made the same expression when she's dying? Just thinking about it made her saddened.
When Tia steps out front the cave, everyone was there. For some reason, she feels shy when every eyes were on her. Chester was smiling as he waved at Tia.
"Glad to see you doing well."
Rebel said as he pat Tia's on the head. She thanked him for that. "Thank you for saving me. I'm really indebted to you." Tia, finally have the courage to talk to Tammy. Tammy just nods at her and didn't say anything after that. Tia was glad, since after all. Tammy doesn't really want to kill her, since she just saved her life from dying."I suggest we'd camp here tonight. Doesn't seem so bad and after fighting with those creatures, I really need some rest." Red call out to everyone as they nodded in response.
Even Chester. Tia was glad he's doing well, since awhile ago he looks like he was losing hope. "You should rest too."Chester whispered as he stands next to Tia. She just smiled at him saying that she will.
That night, sleep is no longer in Tia's mind as every time she tries to, those creepy eyes still haunt her. She can't forget the "feeling"when the animal attack her before. She decided that she needed to cool her head off as she wandered off to the river, hearing the sound of water somehow made her calm. Tia sat in silence as her mind began to wander. She feels so hopeless.
"You can cry, let it all out."
Tia turned around to find Xian walking towards her. Taking a sit next to her, he gave her a smile.
"You always said that, why? Does crying make you feel better?"
Tia replied as he sighs. She wanted to cry; she really did. But those tears won't come out.
"No. But it feels like a burden has been lifted." He chuckled softly as he gazes toward the river. Tia can't help but wonder, why."Why is he so nice to me?" They just sat in silence as the sound of water calm Tia's down.
"I've decided."
He spoke as Tia turn her gaze towards him.
"What?"
"I'm going to live until the end."
He smiled as Tia was confused with his remark. "Of course, you are. You're strong." Tia added as she remembers how he save her before. Xian doesn't respond as he keeps staring at a blank spot.
"Let's live until the end."
He whispered and Tia was surprised to hear that. "Yeah, let's do that." She smiled as Xian did the same. Both of them stayed there as the night slowly started to goes by.
"You know, I had another vision. The night before we took off. I don't understand what it means at first, but now I did."
Tia trailed off as Xian was about to argue asking her why she didn't tell them about her vision but stop when he heard what Tia's going to say next.
"Don't come, you're going to die."
Tia breaths as she turns her gaze towards Xian who is staring at her, with worried eyes.
"Now, I know what it meant."
Tia sighs still can't believe how she's still alive now.
"I need you to promise me something, can you do that?" Xian voice was low as he seems worried.
"What is it?"
"I want you to promise,whenever you got another vision. You come to me. You must. You should. Promise me."
Xian eyes was staring straight into Tia's as she was overwhelmed by that. He made her feel safe, protected. Saved.
"I promise."
Tia replied as Xian sighs in relief.
"Good, you better be."
He says as he smiled.
Morning came by and everyone continue their journey again. Although it feels a bit too unreal since just yesterday, they were attacked, and the King of Tartarus even showed himself to them. Not to mention, his arm is fully intact. It's like, it's never been slashed in the first place. That was worrying, since it might be possible that it have the ability to regenerate it's body. For what it seems like forever, the rain suddenly falls. It was calming. Tia can't believe how much she misses the rain.
"You like the rain?"
Chester,ask looking at Tia with admiration. "Yeah, it's lovely." Tia replied as he continued to smiled at Tia. Somehow, he had been close to her since the morning. Not leaving by her side, it's like he doesn't want anything happens to Tia. Somehow, that made Tia feel grateful. Chester is such a nice guy. So precious and kind. Tia was relieved to know that at least one person cared enough for her in this world. It's enough to survive another day. It wasn't long after the rain stopped, suddenly the ground started to grumble as if there's an earthquake. Chester intertwined his fingers with Tia as he told her to stay close. Tia just nodded in response as she listens to what he told her too.
"Don't let go. Stay with me."
Those simple words made Tia feel comfort. She was glad that he's with her despite having to experience such turbulence in this place.
