"What the heck is wrong with today?"
Kyran groaned as he tried to stabilize himself from falling. The ground kept shaking for another minute and thankfully no one was injured. Tia breathed in relief and was about to say something but stop when a wave of vision hit her hard as her eyes went big.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
Chester spoke as he realizes how cold Tia's hand were. Tia didn't respond, she looks like she had seen something she wasn't supposed to. Her nose started bleeding as her eyes slowly turning white.
"What is her problem?!"
Red shouted as he was surprised to see Tia like that. Somehow, the sight of Tia looking like that terrifies everyone. For what it feels like eternity, Tia finally regains her consciousness and was hyperventilating. Her nose didn't stop bleeding as her eyes was darkened in fear.
"You're alright, breathe."
Tammy spoke as she cupped Tia head and wipe the blood off her nose. Tia was too stunned to speak; she can't believe what she saw. Everyone was worried as they stare at Tia with confused looks. Even Gally, she had this worried looks as she squeezes Tia's hand.
"What happened?"
Gally asked as Tia stared at her still thinking whether she should tell them or not. She turned her head away from Gally and made an eye contact with Xian, as if telling him. She needed help. Xian was confused with what happened as he stares at Tia. Tia clutches her hand to her clothes as she tried to keep her breathing stable. She doesn't know how to say it. She doesn't understand "why" it happened. She hopes and wish that she was wrong. But when she turned her head towards Chester, she can't help but burst Into tears. Sobbing really hard as if someone is dead. Everyone was confused with what happened to her.
"What's wrong? Please tell us Tia."
Chester spoke as he pulls Tia in his arms. Hugging her while Tia sobs uncontrollably. For a moment, Tia just wishes that everything was just a nightmare, and she should wake up soon.
"Vi-visions. I see-"
Tia tried to speak but she can't stop her tears from coming out. Her voice is breaking as she hugs Chester even more. Everyone was frustrated with what she meant but decided to wait until she's finally able to talk and stop crying.
Everyone sat in a circle and waited for Tia to speak. Her eyes were puffy, and she sat there burying her head.
"I don't know what happened, but did this happened often?"
Red asked as he stares at Tia. "No. This is the first for us too." Chester replied as he sighs looking at Tia.
"Are you ready to talk now?"
Tammy spoke as she sat next to Tia. Somehow, she was acting a bit too "friendly" towards Tia. Gally was suspicious of that. After a moment, Tia finally stopped crying, she had a blank look on her eyes.
"I got another vision... Visions."
She corrected herself as Xian eyes light up in interest. Aiden and his friends were surprised to hear that because they didn't know Tia could somehow see things that they cannot.
"And what is it?"
Red replied as he raised an eyebrow, still doubting.
"Death. A way to The Noble."
Tia spoke as she took a deep breath before continuing. Chester smiled weakly as he heard the second vision but stop when he noticed Tia wasn't smiling.
"Okay, tell us the way then." Red mentioned as everyone waited for Tia to speak. Tia stared at them dumfounded.
"Someone is going to die and all you care about is going back to your damn place?"
Tia yelled as that surprised everyone. The word "die" seems to shaken her so much.
"My bad, sorry. I just thought you don't want to talk about that one. So, who's dying? Is it one of us?"
Red replied as he sighs. One of us is going to die. Just thinking about it made Tia want to cry. She was silent for a moment and didn't know how to respond. "I'm sorry. I don't know what to do. Why must a death be necessary?" Tia sighs
"Who is it?"
The question struck Tia hard as she stared at the person who asked that question, Xian.
"I don't know who it is. I just know one of us is dying."
Tia responded as everyone went silent. "The Ale Mermaid. They will show us the way to The Noble." Tia added as Red perks his head in interest. "Of course, how did I never thought of that." He sighs and starts telling everyone about the mermaid Tia told them about. Tia was silent as everyone went on talking about the mermaid.
"How is it? How did they die?"
Enzo asked as Tia stares at him in fear. All the memories she tried to forget come rushing back to her head at once. She flinched when she heard that question. Tia was silent for a moment.
"In a dark place."
Tia replied as she realized something. Avoid the dark. Nobody going to die. If what she saw is real, then all they got to do is avoid dark places as much as possible.
"Wait. Dark places. Avoid dark places. Caves. We shouldn't go to them."
Tia eyes finally light up from before as she realized they could avoid death.
"Are you sure what you see is real? How should we trust you?"
Aiden finally spoke as he glances towards Tia.
"You don't have to trust me. It's up to you."
Tia responded with cold eyes as Aiden was surprised to hear that kind of response.
"So, all we need to do is avoid dark places because if we don't, one of us is going to die there?"
Red asked and Tia nodded in response. "Hopefully we could avoid it." Kyran added as he had worried looks in his eyes.
"What happened when it's night? Are we safe?"
Gally spoke as everyone was worried with that question. Tia was scared too. She doesn't know what to say.
"As long as it's not caves, we'll be fine. We could make a barrier and cover it with flames to make sure nothing come close to us. I think..."
Aiden replied as everyone sighs in relief. Of course. Tia hope that it will work. Although, she doesn't know when exactly it will happen. She just hopes it's not soon. Tammy and Kyran are both in charge to make the barrier for them since they both could use earth ability. Aiden and Xian both covered the barrier with their flames as to keep wild animals or anything away from them. To make sure that it's not too dark for them. Gally has been restless since earlier and her eyes were filled with worries. Tia somehow felt guilty that she was the reason behind it all.
"It's going to be alright."
Chester spoke as he sat next to Tia smiling slightly reassuring her that nothing will happened, and nobody is going to die.
Tia stares at him and bury her head in her arms while the other still intertwined with Chester's. Chester squeezes their fingers as Tia sighs in relief, hoping that it will work.
"Just leave me here, I'll be alright."
He smiled as tears coming out from his eyes as he tried hard to stay awake. His bones were coming out from his body, they don't look so good. He can't even feel anything. He coughs up blood as his fingers slowly giving out from Tia's grip. His body was wrecked, bones sticking out from his lower body. Half of his body is crushed. Still, he was smiling-
"Are you okay?"
Xian appear from behind a tree as Tia finally came back to her sense. She was relieved to see him. "I don't know." Tia replied as she sighs.
"It's going to be alright. Nothing's going to happened. No one is dying."
Xian added and that made Tia smile a little. Tia was silent for a moment; she doesn't know how to say it to Xian. She did promised him to tell him about the vision she got but she can't bring herself to say it.
"You can tell me."
Xian said as he was already staring at Tia. For some reason, Tia can't help but feel remorse. She was terrified.
"I know who it is."
Tia responded. Xian was confused what she meant by that.
"The one who's going to die."
Tia voice cracked as her eyes slightly filled with tears. Xian was shocked to hear that. He can't believe that she knows who it is and didn't tell everyone before. Just why?
"Who is it?"
Xian tried to calm his heart just in case his name was the one coming out from Tia's mouth. For a moment they were both silent, unsure whether to speak of it or not.
"It's okay, you don't have to force yourself if you don't want to speak about it."
Xian replied as he pat Tia on her head causing her to face him. She was hurting, he could see it in her eyes. The looks of someone who had lost someone they cared about. He knows because he used to have that look too.
