That morning everyone woke up feeling fresh since it's been a while since they had a good night rest. Although, it was uncomfortable. They still manage to get a good night sleep.
"So, captain, what's the plan?"
Red smirks as he calls out to Chester. For some reason, he keeps getting on Chester nerve. It feels like he's trying to annoy him, on purpose. Which seem to be working out seem Chester had a frown on his face. That was a sight to see. Today will be the day they're going to continue their long awaited journey.
"Stop calling me that, and of course. We're going to leave this place today. I'm remembering pieces by pieces of the book that I've read back in the school. And we should have something if we walk along the stream."
Chester mentioned as everyone gather in circle listening to him. "Oh, you mean THAT book. Right." Red nodded his head in agreement. Seems like he too, had seen or read the book. As everyone gather everything that they need, their journey begins again.
This time, there's more of them. It's reassuring to know that everyone is on the same side. Tia can't help but feel happy that they wanted to help her, at least believe that NĪRVANA is really exist. Red was the one leading the group as he mentioned that he knows the way. Chester agreed to him since he doesn't really want to be in front of everyone. Gally and Tia walk side by side as so does everyone else. Red told them that they needed to walk in pair, to make sure that no one goes missing.
Enzo and Kyran, Aiden and Tammy, Gally and Tia, Chester with Xian. "This is quite exciting and also scary at the same time." Gally whispered to which Tia agreed. Somehow, walking, being with everyone made Tia feel comfort. The one she never experienced for the past weeks. Since she was alone. Although, she did wonders where RAVEN went. She believes that he's alright since he's strong enough to kill a Syüxa.
One thing for sure, they never expected to encounter monsters on their way. But they did. And what's worst, it's TAKKA. Tia was terrified to see it, staring at her with hatred and anguish. She wanted to scream and hide from it but her whole body freeze she can't utter a single word.
"We are so going to die."
Kyran spoke as everyone expression turned sour. If there's only TAKKA they might have a chance to run away, but there's more. Monsters. Even wild animals, something that look like a saber tooth is staring at them with it fangs out. Seeing that feel unbelievable but it's real. And it's coming for them.
"What are we going to do?!"
Gally yelled as she panicked holding into Tia's arm. They were surrounded, there's no way out.
"Calm down, we're not dying here."
Aiden spoke in response to Gally as he seemed calmed. He was staring at TAKKA as if mesmerized by it. Probably surprised to see the king of Tartarus itself in front of him. It was weird when the monsters don't attack them. It even more terrifying than being attacked. What the heck is wrong with this creatures?! Tia mentally yelled in her head.
"Nìlsine"
Finally, TAKKA spoke as it eyes locked on Tia. Everyone was shocked to hear that word since the name of the legendary warrior was already dead, long ago.
"Why the heck does it call you that?!"
Rebel eyes was wide as everyone seem to match his expression. Tia told them she had no idea, but TAKKA keep chanting the name as it points at Tia. Eyes gleaming with hatred. Everyone was on alert as they gathered in circle facing the monsters. Ready to fight if the creatures attacked. Tia's too was holding on her sword, tightly. Hoping that she doesn't have to use it. With one scream from TAKKA, the monsters and animals leap forward in a flash. Tia doesn't know what to do, her breathing was unstable. Heart thumping so loudly, Body frozen, hands shaking.
"I'm terrified."
That was the third time Tia ever encounter such creatures that made her feel so scared. Everything seem to be going in a slow motion as Tia watches everyone struggling. TAKKA creepy smile as it watches them in pleasure. The shrieking, yelling come from her friends. Gally cries, everyone shouting inaudible words. Tia was scared. For a moment she was lost, she soon regains her consciousness when something starts charging for her. She doesn't know what to do, her feet feel so heavy as they are not coping with her. They won't move. As Tia stare at the animal who's charging towards her, she managed to gather some courage and point the sword toward it. Hoping that, it might actually work.
Although, it did cause the animal to flinched when it saw the sword it won't stop charging for Tia. Tia stumbled backwards as she falls on her back with the animal on top of her, it claws dug into her skin as she let out a small cries. It hurts, It hurts so much, it won't stop. Please. Tia kicked the animal, but it won't budge, she keeps squirming, but it ended up hurting her even more. It claws dugs deeper into her stomach as she feels like she's about to die.
NO.
STOP.
HELP ME.
Tia screams as she felt another pain on her left arm. She was bitten. It wants to chew on her arm as Tia froze, horrified with what she sees. One more and she's going to lose her hand for good. Before she could react, the animal fall into the ground. It was dead. Tia was stunned, with her eyes filled with tears she saw Tammy stand above her with her hands covered with stone, or what it seems like one. She just punched that animal to death. Tia remember how Serina told her about Tammy being Abnormal before. Although, she did wonder. Why did Tammy save her when she hated her so much? She was thankful that she did.
"Get up. You're not dead, yet."
Tammy spoke as she uses her ability to create a wall made of stone. Holding it with her right hand, she looks so cool Tia wanted to cry in her feet. Tia doesn't know how long the attack went, but suddenly it was silent. No more growling. No more TAKKA. Tammy removes the walls around them as Tia notice how the creatures before are mostly dead. Some are burning with flames, buried with stone. Even slash to pieces by some unknown powers. Tia was amazed to see what happened. Everyone was restless, but nobody was injured. Tia sighs in relief as she falls to the ground. Chester and Gally came running towards her.
"Are you alright?!"
Chester crouched down as he held Tia's in his arms. Relieved. Tia was happy to see him alive. Smiling, she held out her hand to touch his face.
"I'm glad you're okay."
Tia spoke and that made the boy cry. She doesn't understand why he did, and it hurts her seeing him like that. For some reason, her vision started to become blurry. She then remembered how the pain from her stomach hurts so much she feels like dying.
"Don't close your eyes, keep them open. Stay with me."
A faint voice whispered to Tia's ear; she doesn't need to see who it was. She knows it was Gally. Although, she wanted to open her eyes and tell them that she's okay, she can't seem to do so. "Don't come. You're going to die." Tia suddenly remembered the words she heard when she got a vision before.
Now she finally understands, what it meant.
