“The goddess who defied the order of the Supreme Being, it cannot be! Why have you come back?” exclaimed second milieus executive as she was choked inside my air bubble. The moment the surroundings turned black, she once again attempted to use her ender heart. The power given by the ender heart was an attribute that belongs to the sub elements category. It was ‘moonlight,’ a power that can be used in the rise of darkness. But she has failed to completely deceive us once again. Following her illusions, something was triggered in my mind. They were foreign memories, the memories of the wind goddess. They were slowly entering in my mind accompanied by a searing pain. Like a jackhammer drilling in my head. “It looks like you did not do your research properly then,” I conveyed to her as I twisted my hand that was holding my wand and poured another spell inside the air bubble. Shards of air blades ran rampant inside leaving deep scratches on her pale skin. She shrilled loudly together with another attack that was coming to my head. I held my head in pain causing the spell to cancel. And I saw yet another memory, ------- “Don’t do it Moria,” Harlequin’s voice pleadingly asked the wind goddess. He held her hand tightly, resolved on not letting go. The goddess smiled and caressed the hero’s face. “I will not go, but I will fight by your side,” she said with resolve. “What happened? Why have you come down?” Harlequin asked. “You need a queen to complete your officials Harlequin,” Moria stared at his eyes. She only averted it when she built a wind barrier to stop the upcoming attack from the enemy. A clashing happened between the chain of destruction and the wind of the goddess. Harlequin looked at Moria with worry, afraid that the chain of destruction will reach her. He wanted to grab Moria’s hand and get her away from the battle field but he was afraid that it would lead to endangering the goddess instead. “Decide immediately hero, we don’t have time to kill, the Island is in danger,” Moria said, now talking to the hero and not her lover. There was danger lingering in her face and the rest were all worry and pain. Harlequin clenched his hand; he summoned the spirit contract and made the deal with the goddess of the wind. When the contract was sealed Harlequin felt the surge of mana from the goddess, it was the power of a god. With the arrival of the queen the officials are completed, the board glowed and an all new found strength was formed. ------- I groaned in pain after the flashbacks of memories. I saw the second milieus executive trying to crawl out of the board. Outside the board was her companion. The person named Night who was controlling the darkness. I should restrain her, the situation is in favor for us right now but I’m slowly losing my strength too. And the others… Johannes was unconscious, I was not sure if he was still under the spell. The other spirits were in the same state except for Yahya. But how could I recognize her? It was as if the memories that I saw became one with mine. “Don’t worry, he is not under ‘moonlight’,” she said referring to Johann. “Are you okay Yahya?” I asked her, my voice was softer that I used too. The shock was written on her face when she heard me, as if a switch has been flipped inside her brain. She creased her forehead while looking at me. “You… are you really—“ I could not hear her words, because another surge of memories struck me again. ------ “Moria!” Harlequin shouted when he saw Moria almost getting struck by the chain of destruction. The goddess evaded but as a result she fell on her feet. Being a supply of mana in the board, her limited power was slowly faltering. But the Grand Arch Wizard was not in scarce of mahò at all. They were facing yet another predicament. “Stop hero, continue to take control and continue the attacks,” the goddess of the wind said. Harlequin gritted his teeth and closed his eyes. He focused himself to the battle once again. the spirits were back on their feet after replenishing their mana but with the continuous battle and their opponents endless mahò supply they were once again starting grow weaker. The evil laughter of the Grand Arch Wizard made the hero even angrier, “Even a goddess cannot keep up with my power,” he announced, too proud of himself. It was then that a light from the realm shone towards Moria. “I wish to release my order!” Moria shouted towards the light. “Are you truly sure Moria? You know a punishment is waiting for you after you’ve defied the Supreme Being and now you want to receive higher sentence by unleashing your power in this continent?” Ni Faesta stated in a voice that only Moria could hear. Moria was resolved she was not about to let the evil wizard win. “Yes, I am prepared to accept the worst.” “Then I shall release the seal that restrains your full potential.” In Harlequin’s eyes, the time Moria spent talking to Ni Faesta, she was just standing there under the light open for all attacks. But he could not move closer for he was casting a spell that was occupying the enemy’s attention right now. It was then that all the spirits came flying towards Harlequin and they did not stand back at all. They vanished into thin air. With the effect of the contract they were sealed once again on Harlequin. If he wants, the hero could call them again, but he was unable to because he was nearing his limit. His strength was only enough to keep the domain and himself standing. If he cancels the domain, the evil wizard may begin to suck even greater power from the realm and cause the destruction of the Island. But Moria appeared by his side and held his hand. Despite the chaos, Harlequin felt a little peace. “I will cast a spell on your sword, when I tell you to, cancel the board domain and pour all remaining power to your sword. I will attack him first and to my signal, strike him,” Moria explained her plan. Harlequin nodded and prepared himself. But before going away Moria looked at Harlequin and smiled. “I am happy to have met you Harlequin, when we next see each other, I hope it would end in happiness,” before the hero could open his mouth Moria already disappeared in from of him and was already clashing with the Grand Arch Wizard. The wind almost blew Harlequin away. The impact of the clashing was greater than any other he has seen before. He could not believe his own eyes. It was the true power of a goddess against the power of the realm turned into black mahò. Harlequin thought twice about releasing the domain. The domain was one of the reasons they lasted longer for it lessened the power delivered to the wizard through the chain of destruction. External forces could not easily penetrate his board domain. Yet he prepared himself to follow Moria’s plan, he trusts her after all. May Gaearandys be with us, he chanted in his mind. “Cancel!” he shouted and the board domain vanished. He poured all the remaining mana and strengthened his body with his aura. With the wind surrounding his blade he ran towards the battle of two great powers. Jumping up, he slashed his sword to the Grand Arch Wizard whose attention was all focused to Moria. The plan was not in vain, Harlequin successfully struck the Grand Arch Wizard, but it was not after the clashing powers died down that he saw the goddess of the wind holding in her hands the chain of destruction that was struck in her body. ------- I gasped for air. I panted hard. It was like I was really there. I felt the pain, the sadness, and the relief that the goddess was able to save everyone. “Are you okay?” Yahya worriedly asked. “I’m fine, let’s finish this so we could treat the other,” I said gently pushing away Yahya’s hand. I faced Monma who was still struggling in vain. The domain was still up meaning Johann still has strength. I just need to finish this all before the domain vanishes. “Yahya, can you gather everyone and cast a protective shield?” I spoke with my eyes on Monma. I flicked my hand and got my wand out. “I am about to release a full range magic, be careful to not get caught in it,” I dangerously said. My words were not for Yahya, but for the enemy that dared to coward in a corner after shamelessly attacking everyone.
