Cello took a step back in shock when he saw himself in front of him. Thinking back on what he is doing, he remembered that he's fighting a white haired teen. "You're that brat," he shouted and assaulted the copy.
Kayne laughed at this pathetic display by Cello. He already made sure to break Cello's spirit first by giving him a dose of his own medicine. After the copy vanished into thin air, a couple of more copies emerged on Cello's back. What Kayne is doing is piecing back together the broken fragments of ice earlier and turning it into a bended reality copy of Cello. This made it possible for the copy to reemerge even after being cut down.
"Haaaa!" Cello cried out in frustration. "Where are you?!," he screamed.
"Here," Kayne answered but his voice echoed in the area, failing Cello to locate him.
Aggravated in his current position, Cello chopped down each copy with all of his force hoping that Kayne would come down, stumbling with them. But after draining too much of his stamina, the long fight did not end according to his wishes.
The copies slowly faded into dust and Kayne appeared a few meters away from Cello. He's smiling and walking slowly to close the gap between them.
"Hah, finally you decided to show yourself," Cello muttered. He stood up once more for another round but Kayne denied his will to fight and sent him back to his knees in a single slap.
Cello tried to lift his body up once more with all of his remaining strength.
"Aren't you tired?" Kayne touched Cello's forehead with his bare hand and uttered an ancient language.
Slowly, Cello's body became thin and his skin became saggy. He aged terribly in a few minutes and turned into an old man with falling teeth and hair. As if not content with the result, Kayne continued draining the life out of Cello until he died. His body, mummified from the process and there's no way for any Neo to turn him back to normal.
Those who witnessed the whole fight got goosebumps on what transpired in front of their eyes.
"Who is he?," they asked silently.
Kayne, who won the second round, sat in the middle of the arena, waiting for the next challenger. But the viewers tugged their tails between their legs after they saw what happened to Cello who died helplessly from an unknown skill.
Luke took this chance to step in and formally introduce Kayne to everyone. He also mentioned that the child is their beloved grandson and child of Rigel.
Upon hearing Kayne's identity, the commotion settled down.
"Does this mean that the main family's strength rose again? Rigel is already enough but to add that kid is too much."
Reene heard what the madame said. "If you have complaints, you are most welcome to speak in the middle of the safe wall. However, you'll end up like that foolish man all the same."
The rest simply bit their tongue to avoid offending Reene Regulus further who is known for her short temper.
When the butler accompanying Reene informed her that Luke asked her to go in the main hall with him, her mood stabilized again. She's already on the clouds when he saw Kayne's fighting ability but gossips always turn her days sour as these are the hardest things to deal with on high societies.
The two introduced Kayne once more when they reached the main hall. He's now wearing the clothes prepared for him by his grandparents. People greeted him with smiles and applause. There are also several family members who complimented his clean victory in the fight earlier.
Reene felt delighted on how the family revered Kayne after a single show of his skill. She tugged him around with her to flaunt that aside from having decent skills, he also got the looks that could catch any lady he wished. She's proud of this grandchild as much as her pride is to Rigel.
"But the news came to us that Rigel is dead."
Reene turned around to see who talked about her child. It's Lucian. Luke's younger brother and currently the appointed representative of Leo's front businesses. Unlike Luke, Lucian is a kleptomaniac who only sees the power of money.
"Oi, Lucian."
A brat no older than 10 years old called Lucian by his name. He's carrying a plate full of sweets.
"We meet again," Kayne greeted the kid.
"Lucian, it's the weird dude who touched my hair," the kid informed Lucian before putting two of the sweets in his mouth.
Lucian, who completely failed on his plan to play a joke on his brother's wife, forced himself to smile at the other family members. His child, Sai, followed his example and tried to greet the others with a mouth full of sweets.
The women found the gesture sweet and flocked at the small bastard.
"Oh, how cute. Is this your child Lucy?"
Lucy is Lucian's nickname among close family members and unluckily, those are the people Reene is talking with right now.
"Kayne, if you need to sell off the arm bracers you won earlier. You can talk with Lucy. He may look scary but he's honest regarding profit," one of the women proposed.
"Sure, I'll do that," Kayne agreed.
Lucian eyed him suspiciously but Sai ran towards him and hid in between his legs.
"Lucian," Sai cried. "They're pinching my cheeks."
However, Sai's brilliance overpowered his sad expression and the woman felt the urge to make him cry more.
To save his child from being tormented, Lucian picked the kid and carried him in his arms.
"Lucian," the kid sobbed, hiding his face on his father's neck.
"We'll be leaving now. Though he acts more mature than kids his age, Sai hates to be touched by people," Lucian explained.
"Oh is that so?"
Disappointed, the women bid him goodbye, kissing him on his cheeks that made Sai's tantrums louder.

"Lucian!," Sai complained while wiping his cheeks violently.
Fearing his wife's anger later, Lucian cooed Sai and gave him another sweet to bite. "We'll go home now, don't cry," he reassured him.
