   I've been wandering around looking for Fawn since earlier. I also asked Arlo about his sister's whereabouts, but he didn't know either. I went to her room, but she wasn't there. I really didn't want to leave her earlier, but I couldn't do anything when Aunt approached me with Shaun.
   "Mom, have you seen Fawn?" I have a bad feeling. I can't shake this uneasiness. If something bad happens to that girl, I won't forgive myself. Fawn looks like she's okay but I know she's trying to hide her emotions from us. She's sensitive…
   "I saw her leave earlier. Is there a problem?" Mom asks.
   "Nothing." I quickly turn away and leave the house, then I call Asher and he answers immediately.
   "Is Fawn with you?"
   "She's not here. Why?"
   "Damn it."
   "Where's my sister, Felizitas?"
   I immediately end the call. Fawn doesn't usually leave at this hour, and it's late at night. Where could she be going at this time?
   I stop in my tracks as a possibility sinks in. My parents told me what happened the other day. Darn it.
   I furrow my brow when I see my older brother, Lucas with Anya outside the gate. They seem to be in an argument, but I don't care. "Have you seen Fawn?"
   "She just left," Lucas answers me.
   I glare at him in anger, "Damn it, Lucas! Why didn't you stop her?!"
   He looks surprised by my outburst. It's the first time I yelled at him, and I'm sure he didn't like what I did.
   "Did you just yell at me, Felizitas?"
   "I just did. Is there a problem with that?" I raised and eyebrow at him.
   "I'm your older brother. Show some respect."
   "Lucas, that's enough. Felizitas didn't mean to yell at you." If only I could tell Lucas that I don't like Anya for him, but I know he loves her.
   "Fawn's life is in danger. You let her leave, and if something bad happens to her, I will never forgive you." I give him a sharp look. 
   I leave Lucas but approach him again. "Give me your car key. I'm gonna save my bestfriend." I don't know how to save Fawn, but I want to do everything I can to bring her back home where she's safe with me. 
   "I won't let you drive. It's already late."
   I clench my fist in anger, "Lucas, I'm warning you. I'm your sibling, but don't test my patience." I can be like a bomb sometimes. It's dangerous when I get angry. Lucas knows that.
   He sighs, feeling defeated. "Fine, I'll drive the car."
   "I'll come with you--"
   "No." I cut off Anya's words. "It's your birthday. Go back inside." I turn away from her and quickly get into the passenger seat of the car. Lucas follows suit, getting into the driver's seat and starting the car.
   I can't sit still as we approach Fawn's house, so I call Zev. I hate my mind for sticking to negative thoughts. When the car stops in front of the gate, I quickly get out and push the gate's door. But I curse when I find the house door locked.
   "Fawn! Are you there?! Fawn!" I keep shouting, not caring if the neighbors wake up from the noise. Finally, the door opens, and Tita Tina greets me. She has bruises on her face. What did Atlas do this family? 
   "Felly, what are you doing here at this hour? Is there a problem?"
   "Where is Fawn?" I enter the house, followed by Lucas and Tita Tina.
   "She's not here. I thought she was with you," Tita Tina says, and I head to the front of Fawn's room. It's locked. I have a really bad feeling.
   "Is there a key to Fawn's room?" I ask, and Tita Tina looks confused by my actions but doesn't question me. She quickly goes into the other room.
   I hear a noise from inside the room. "Dhai! Are you in there?! Please talk to me!" I bang loudly on the door. Shaking, I glance back at Lucas. "Help me break the door."
   "I can't, we are trespassing."
   "Come on, Lucas! Fawn is inside!"
   "Are you sure it's Fawn inside?"
   "Damn it! Fawn is inside!"
   He just shakes his head and steps back. "I can't help you, Felizitas."
   Tita Tina comes out. "The spare key that was hidden in my cabinet is missing. I can't find it. What's going on?"
   "Ma! Help me!" We hear Fawn scream from inside the room.
   "Fawn!" tears falling as I try to open the door, damn it! 
   "Where is she?!" I turn to see Zev next, followed by Asher running towards us. They try to break the door but can't. Lucas stands by, watching what's happening while holding his phone. I can't help but feel angry at him.
   After a few minutes, they finally break the door. They kick it open, and I look away from the scene, her step-father is on top of her half naked body. Tita Tina sits on the floor, shocked by what she witnessed.
  "Bastard!"
   "Fuck you!"
   I hear the sound of the two of them punching Fawn's step-father, followed by the sound of a police car. Did Lucas call them?
   "Hey, stop that!" Lucas intervenes, pulling the two away from Fawn's step-father. I quickly approach and cover Fawn's entire body while sitting on the floor. She's trembling.
   Suddenly two police officers enter the room and immediately restrain Uncle Atlas who is still struggling.
   "I didn't touch her! Let me fucking go!" He tries to resist, facing the wall.
   "I have the whole evidence of your crime, Mr. Hidalgo," I glance at Lucas as he raises his phone. "I have a record and a full video of what happened." So that was it from earlier. He recorded what happened.
   "Fuck you!"
   "Make sure to put him behind bars." Lucas even glances at the two police officers before they escort Mr. Hidalgo out of the house. "I have to inform our parents." I nod to him before he leaves until I can no longer hear the police car sirens.
   "Fawn…" Tita Tina approaches and kneels in front of Fawn, embracing her. "I'm so sorry. Forgive me for what happened to you. If I had known it would lead to this, I wouldn't have let him stay in the house. Please forgive me, my child."
   She's crying and trembling while her mother holds her. "H-he...heard Zev," she says between sobs. Asher kneels beside Tita Tina and comforts her.
   "Ma..."
   I look at Zev standing on the side. "Fawn,"
   "H...he h-heard him." It breaks my heart to see Fawn trembling in fear.
   "Shh, enough. Mama is here."
   I stand up and approach Zev. "Let's talk outside."
   Zev exits first, and I follow him until we stop in the living room of the house. I face him. "What did you tell her, Zev?" He avoids eye contact, unable to look me in the eye. "Zevadiah Braun Rizal, answer my question."
   "I messed up the timeline," that's all he tells me.
   "Timeline?" I want Zev for Fawn, but if he's involved in what happened tonight, I won't let him go near her again.
   Then he looks at me, "What happened tonight didn't happen in Fawn's past. Her timeline is changing because of me."
   I can't understand what he's saying. Zev is weird, I knew that the first time I saw him.
   He sighs, "Are you gonna believe me if I tell you that I'm from the future?"
   I raise an eyebrow at his question, "Are you nuts? Do you think I'll believe you? It's not time for a joke. We're in reality now, not fantasy--"
   "She hanged herself after she found out she's pregnant with Atlas' child."
   I'm shocked and speechless at what I hear. His face is serious as he looks straight into my eyes. What the heck? Is he serious? 
   "I said those words to her, and I didn't know that Mr. Hidalgo overheard what I said that night." wait hold on. I don't understand.
   I have no words and I'm trying to process the words he uttered.
   "What happened from her future might gonna happen again in this timeline. I don't wanna lose her again. I don't wanna lose the woman I love. I might kill myself if the same fate happen to her. I can't bear the same pain again and again of losing her."
   I stay silent, absorbing each word he speaks. I can feel the emotions in every word. I know he's not joking, who would joke after what happened? If Zev is really from the future, that means he's here to change Fawn's fate, but what happened tonight was because of him. Is that right?
   "You don't believe me, Felly."
   "I... don't know what to believe. But I'm certain about two things, Zev. You really love Fawn, and what happened tonight was your fault." It's strange how I feel Zev's genuine love for Fawn.
   "I will protect her, I won't let her die. I don't want to go back into my future without her." I smile at his words. Fawn is lucky to have Zev.
   "We will not let her die, Zevadiah.”
