"For the throne?" Jamal asked breaking the silence that was already looming.
Everyone was lost in their thought wondering what Jasmine meant by the throne. Could someone be after the throne, and had kidnapped the queen for that?. Or was there a hidden motive behind it?. They wanted to know as much as Jamal.
"Can we go in?" Jasmine said. "We will give you every detail we know. Someone might be listening"
They headed inside the house and settled in Jasmine's room. Her room was at the far end of the house which makes it safer.
After settling down, some on her couch and others on the bed and ready to listen, Jasmine spoke up. She explained how they had met two men who had suspected them and how they had followed them in a circle until it was getting late.
"Just when we thought of giving up, we saw two other men and we hid behind a tree," Ryan said.
"Though we could not get the location of the vampire queen, we met two men talking about their boss. From what they said, their boss wants the vampire king to abdicate the throne. They did not say why though"
"Did you try going after them? I mean to know their location" Ariana asked.
"It was getting so we had to retire" Ryan answered
"How sure is this information?" Jabal asked
"We are not sure if it's true" Jasmine answered
Jabal sighed. "We can't settle for that as the only information"
"We can ask Stella if she knows anything about the vampires. She might be able to help us" Jamal said and everyone agreed to it.
"We should visit her as soon as possible" Ryan said
"What about we go tomorrow. It's weekend" Jabal suggested.
"It takes three days to go to Alaska and three days to come back. That is almost a week" Jamal said
"We will be missing school again?" Jabal asked
"That's the only option"
"If that is the case, I think we should retire to bed so we can leave early and not get there at night," Jasmine said.
The boys said goodbye to the girls and retired to their room. While everyone slept, Jasmine couldn't. She could not help but think about what she and Ryan heard.
She was sure there was more to it and was bent on doing some digging alone. She looked at Ariana who was sleeping so peacefully. After confirming that she was asleep when tiptoed out of the bed and out of the room.
The hallway was quiet meaning everyone was asleep. She followed the staircase into the living room where she met Ryan close to the door about to leave the house.
Just like Jasmine, Ryan had been curious to know more. He also had the feeling that there was more to it. He wanted to go out there and find out more. He waited until everyone was fast asleep before heading downstairs. He was careful enough not to switch the light on.
His werewolf eyes helped him see in the dark so he had no worries about hitting his legs on the couch. When he got to the door, he had a sound and turned. Jasmine was standing right in front of him.
She was as shocked as he is. "Where are you going she asked?"
"To the hideout and you?"
"Same"
They left the house together to the hideout location.

THE VAMPIRE REALM
The vampire realm had been in a mourning phase, though their queen had not been confirmed dead, they couldn't help but mourn her absence. Everyone remained in their various houses.
In the palace, the vampire king paced around his room. He has just received a message. And the message had threatened him to abdicate the throne or lose his wife. He could not remember fighting for the throne with anyone. The throne was passed down to him by his father and he in turn will pass it down to his son.
Who would have sent him a message to leave the throne? A throne that had belonged to his family for over decades. He could remember when he was younger, his father had told him how their family had fought for the vampires with their lives. They had cut themselves out of heaven realm, the once known powerful vampire realm.
It was during the time, after Amaya's death, and the great book of the witches moved from hands to hands. A fight had erupted and most of the vampires were killed.
His family fought with their lives and were able to save a few vampires. With the help of a powerful witch, they left the heaven realm and founded the vampire realm beside the demons who had since then been protecting them.
And to show their appreciation, they had made their family ruler over the rest of the vampires. And since then, the throne has been passed from one generation to another. And they in turn had kept the realm safe. The realm had grown from being scanty to being filled with more lives.
Then why will he have to leave a throne belonging to his family to a together stranger? There was no way he would leave the throne and if he had to, he would be passing it to his son and not some stranger.
But on second thought, he can't let his wife die. He was left in a dilemma. He can't leave the throne and he can't lose his wife.
He decided to visit his friend, the demon king. He needed to speak to someone and the only one he could think of was the demon king. He always understands him and his advice has always helped him.
Leaving the realm with a few of his guards, he headed to the demon realm.
**
HUMAN TERRITORY
The kids were prepared and ready to leave. They had gathered up the necessary things they needed for the journey. They will first visit the earth witches coven to see their mothers, before heading to Alaska.
They woke up early and were ready before the sun rises. Everyone made sure they had everything they needed in place. Everything was placed into the booth, one after the other. When they were set, they returned to the house to see their father.
After saying goodbye to him, they entered the car and zoomed off. They will need to stop at a filling station to get some fuel before going to the earth witches coven. While they wait to get the fuel, Jamal decided to take a stroll. He loved the scene he saw and wanted to explore a bit before they leave. Soon, they will be out of the places with people and will be amid bushes.
He took a few steps away from the rest and stretched. He noticed something strange and at first, he had thought he was imagining things. He stared at what he saw. He can't be imagining things, right?
It was the demon prince standing a few meters away. He had a bag hung on his shoulder and seems to be on his way on a journey. Jamal returned to meet the rest.
"Is that not the demon prince?" He asked
"Is he the one standing over there?" Jabal asked, furrowing his brows.
"I think he is," Ariana said
"Of course he is. I will go ask him what he is doing here" Jasmine said and made to cross over to the other side of the road but was held back by Jabal.
"Why do I have strange feelings about him?" He said
Everyone stared at him.
"What do you mean?" Jasmine asked
"He's acting strange. I doubt he is real. What if..."
Jabal said and was cut short by Jasmine.
"I-i can't feel the mate's bond"
Jasmine stuttered.
"Do you think that's a clone of him?" Jamal asked.
"What if he was sent to follow us to where we are heading to?" Ariana asked.
"We should leave this place soon. We can't risk getting followed" Jasmine said and they all ran into the car.

THE DEMON REALM
When the vampire king got to the demon realm, he was welcomed and offered a seat. After pleasant greetings, the demon king and the vampire king were left alone to have their conversation.
"There is a problem," The vampire king said, bringing out the letter he had received.
"What is the problem, my friend?" The demon king asked.
"I received a letter. Someone wants me to abdicate the throne or my wife die". He pointed the letter he was holding to the demon king. "This is the letter I received"
The demon king took the letter from him. And after reading it he sighed. "What do you plan to do?"
"I am confused. I can't leave the throne to a stranger and I can't let my wife die"
The demon king sighed. "This is a serious issue"
The vampire king nodded in agreement.
"Do you have any person in mind? I mean do you know anyone that might have sent the message?"
"I have thought well about it. No one I know of"
The demon king stood up.
"If that is the case, we can't trust the letter yet. We will need to do some digging. All you need to do is act normal. I will send some people to find who had sent it"
"Thank you, my friend. I know I can always count on you"
They chatted on random things and the vampire king finally returned to his realm.
**
THE EARTH WITCHES COVEN
Jabal bought the car to a halt and everyone stepped out. They made sure to look around just in case the demon prince's clone was following them.
After making sure no one was following them, they went to meet their mothers.
"To what do we owe this visit?" Emerald asked.
"We are heading to Alaska" Jasmine answered.
"And we thought of saying goodbye" Ariana said.
"Though we have something to ask too," Jamal said
"What is that if I may ask?" Ella asked
"Is it possible to get someone's clone?" Jabal asked and Ella furrowed his brows.
"What he meant is that we saw the demon prince on our way here. He had a bag with him like someone going on a journey. We thought it could be him but Jasmine could not feel the mate bond" Ariana said
"You could not feel the mate bond?" Emerald asked
"Yes, mom" Jasmine answered.
Emerald smiled. "You can't feel the mate bond. You are not fully mated yet"
"But I do feel the bond whenever he is close by"
"That is not the mate bond. It's just a bond that pulls you both to each other and that happens once in a while" Ella answered.
"Does that mean he is the demon prince?" Jamal asked curious to know.
Emerald nodded. "Yes. He is the demon prince"
"Then why did he stay across the road instead of coming to us?" Jasmine asked
"That is because I did not notice you" the demon prince answered. And the kids turned in surprise.
"W-what is he doing here?" Jasmine asked
"He is going to Alaska with you" Ella answered
"To do what?" Ariana asked
"Stella came over yesterday. She wanted the demon prime to come with you to Alaska. She has a piece of very important information for him" Emerald answered
"Is that the reason he had a bag with him?" Ryan asked.
They wondered why Stella wanted Kelvin to come with them. They had no reason to doubt the demon prince though. Unlike Ryan who had to win their trust, Kelvin had won their trust without having to work so hard for it.
"Is there anything you need?" Emerald asked, breaking the silence that is already looming.
"Can we have some blackberries please?" Jabal asked.
"And some raspberries too," Jamal said
"And maybe some strawberries" Ariana added
"You can have as many things as you want. Just make sure to gather them fast so you can start going. It won't feel nice to get to Alaska late"
"Are we going to pass through all those tests again?" Jabal asked
Emerald smiled. "No. You have won the heart of the great witch. You will have access to the village without stress"
Jabal sighed. That is good news. He can't imagine going through what they went to the last time they went there.
"Let's go get the fruits so we can leave," Ariana said.
They nodded in agreement and headed for the garden.
