Having accepted to follow them and have given up the blueprint to the manager for his keeping, I was driven to the station, the policemen who had also littered the area seems to also be on their way out. I have successfully returned the blueprint, but what about my Mother, what if the gang were to come for her again, would that be that it's all a wasted effort with me being stuck in here at the station. The plans was for me to leave for home after successfully returning the blueprint, I planned on relocating with my Mom, traveling somewhere away from here, but now that things have turned out this way, opposite the way I planned them, what am I to do now?. I was kept inside the room and have been in here for the past twenty to thirty minutes. I don't have time to waste here, they should come let's do this, this is actually to my advantage also. I never planned on how I would get to involve the police in this so that I could bring down the gang members, but this looks like an opportunity served to me on a platter of gold, who wouldn't take his chances?. I'll reveal them, I'll name them all, I'll make sure that none of this gang members escape his or her fate, they all deserves punishment and that's exactly what they'll get for trying to rob the central museum. All that's left now is how I'll get myself to stay innocent across all this, I will find reasons, a way to lure myself out of the equation, and that's exactly what I've been thinking in here all this while, taking my time to formulate everything. I was distracted when I heard the sound of something on the table, it was the sound of a file, wasn't too loud, but kinda attracting to the ears. “ I guess you've been having a good time Mr Wilfred?....” the Man who was in charge and brought me here spoke, eyes staring into mine, trying to look intimidating, but like mine trying to look confident like before. “ No..... Actually I've been waiting to see how all this go before leaving here, got to go meet my mom back home....” I said, speaking like one who really knows his rights. He just nodded in agreement, a little sign of smile on his face, but never took his eyes off me. “ I can see you're a mummy's boy then....” he said, his smile turning to laughter like he was trying to create familiarities between us. I just faked a smile, then relaxed for us to jump into the case. “ I believe I should tell you this boy..... All this is just a total waste of time you know, it's like a matter that needs to be approached because it will get the story a clear view you know, but is this of any importance, definitely no....” He relaxed his back on his seat as he finished speaking, eyes staring into mine like he was waiting for my reaction. What is he talking about?, I don't actually get him, but anyways, I think I should just give our conversation a lead. “ So, why have I been brought here?....” I asked, waiting for him to dive into the blueprint topic, but he was just relaxed, like totally relaxed like one who's not really here for any sort of conversation. “ Guess you're quite dumb, but since you're nothing but an ordinary cleaner, what's wrong with a chit chat of the future about you?....” He's making me confused I can surely admit, I am not really understanding where he's going with this or the actual information he was trying to pass to me. I just shut my mouth, waiting to see whether he could continue, and just like I thought, he proceeded. “ You know Will.... Such is Life, one is always going to play the role of a scape goat, so bad that it has to be you this time you know, it's such a pity I can say..... Being just a cleaner put you right on the spot needed, I don't actually know how you think or how things work with you, but here's a heads up..... It's a project that started with you five years ago, more like every group in this invested in you for this....” “ What are you talking about?, I don't understand you, I don't understand anything, what are you trying to share here, make it clear to me.....” I pressed, getting drowned down in the sea of confusion, where I have no strings to hold onto, like I was in the middle of the sea, trying to stay in the surface, but something was dragging me in, something I can't seem to escape from. He laughed, like all this was hilarious to him, this man here just doesn't know that I can change all his fun into misery if I decide to twist things, but either way, I have something to lose, I must lose something, that I'm sure of. “ You see Wil, I think I have already said more than I've to, but just to give you a heads up, don't look at this as injustice, if you view it that way, it will be more painful to the heart you know, just see it as you're the sacrifice for the greater good of others, who knows, you might be remembered for something, but for now, best you see it as paying a price for something that would benefit others..... I guess that's enough Wil, I wish you enjoy your time in prison, and you might possibly meet people like you there too, there are many of them, you will make great friends....” He winked at me as he turned around to walk away from the dark room with a single low light in the middle. “ Before you go, just tell me what got me here....” “ Let's just say, the enemy of my enemy is my friend....” he said before walking out from the room.
