CHAPTER 15

CELESTRIA POV
I woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside my window, ready to face another exciting day. As I got dressed, a wave of anticipation washed over me. Today, like every other day, I would embark on my secret mission.

With a quick glance at the mirror, I made sure I looked presentable. I tiptoed downstairs, hoping to slip out unnoticed. But just as I reached for the doorknob, a voice called out, stopping me in my tracks. It was Grandma, her eyes filled with concern.
"Celestria, where do you think you're going?" Grandma's voice boomed, her face red with frustration.

Startled, I turned to face her, my heart sinking. "I was just going out, Grandma," I stammered, my voice filled with nervousness.
I've noticed that you've been leaving the house every day. You've only been here for a month, and I want to know where you've been going and who you've been with."
"Grandma," I began hesitantly, my voice tinged with guilt. "I've been going out to help the Damien's pack."

Grandma's face contorted with anger and confusion. "The Damien's pack? What are you talking about? Who are they?"
I took a deep breath, hoping to find the courage to explain myself. "You see, Grandma, the Damien's pack is a group of werewolves. They have chosen me to be their Luna, their leader. It's my responsibility to guide them and assist in taking care of their needs."

Grandma's face turned red with rage. "How dare you get involved with these creatures! They're dangerous, Celestria! I won't allow it!"
Tears welled up in my eyes as I pleaded with Grandma to understand. "But Grandma, they're good werewolves! They have taught me so much about loyalty and compassion. They need my help, and I can't turn my back on them."

"I won't hear any of it, Celestria!" Grandma snapped, her voice filled with disappointment. "You're putting yourself in danger, and you're risking our family's safety by associating with these creatures. I won't stand for it!"

The weight of Grandma's anger felt unbearable, and I couldn't bear to see the disappointment in her eyes. "I'm sorry, Grandma," I whispered, my voice trembling. "I never meant to disappoint you. I just wanted to make a difference, to help those in need."
"I'm sorry, Grandma," I whispered, my voice trembling. "I never meant to disappoint you. I just wanted to make a difference, to help those in need."

Her eyes bore into mine, filled with a mixture of anger and concern. "Celestria, I understand your desire to help, but you need to realize the consequences of your actions. Werewolves may seem good to you now, but they are still dangerous creatures. They have instincts that can't be tamed."
Anger surged through me, fueled by the pain of her words. "You don't understand, Grandma! They are more than just creatures. They have hearts and souls, just like us. They deserve a chance to be understood and accepted."

Grandma's eyes filled with disappointment and anger, her voice filled with rage. "How can you be so blind, Celestria? They may seem good now, but you have no idea what they're capable of. You're risking your own life and the safety of our family by associating with them. Family should always come first."
Grandma's face turned red with fury as she took a step closer to me. "You are being selfish, Celestria! You're putting your own desires above the well-being of our family. I won't allow it!"

Anger bubbled up within me as I stared defiantly into her eyes. "It's not about being selfish, Grandma! You taught me about compassion and standing up for what I believe in. This is my chance to make a real difference, to show them that not all humans fear and reject them."
"I understand your concerns, Grandma," I continued, my voice gaining strength. "But if I turn my back on them now, they will lose hope. And I will lose a part of myself that I have come to cherish."
Grandma's eyes softened, but her voice remained firm. "I just want you to be safe, Celestria. I don't want to see you hurt or worse."

Tears blurred my vision as I pleaded with her, my voice a desperate whisper. "I appreciate your concern, Grandma. But sometimes, to truly make a difference, we have to take risks. This is the path I've chosen, and I can't abandon it now."
The room fell silent as Grandma's gaze bore into my soul. I could feel her struggle between her love for me and her fears for my safety. But no matter the outcome, I knew that our relationship had forever changed.
"I love you, Grandma," I whispered, tears streaming down my face. "But I can't abandon the pack. They have become my family too."
Her eyes softened for a moment, a flicker of understanding crossing her face. But it quickly vanished, replaced by a stubborn resolve. "Then go," she said, sounding like she had given up. "If you choose them over us, then so be it."
