Chapter 39: Confronting x Warning

Tony stepped forward, his eyes coldly staring at Carlos as he said, "What do you think?"
Carlos knew he couldn't match Tony in a fight.
Even Bard and his friends couldn't handle Tony, let alone him.
Deep inside, Carlos felt furious.
He was angry because Tony could win Young's love, and Max could date Anna. However, Carlos was unaware that Anna was now Tony's lover. If he knew this, Carlos would be even more enraged.
Carlos was also angry because he was the captain of the school's football team, quite popular in the school.
Despite not being academically excellent, he excelled in football, and several universities had agreed to grant scholarships to Carlos.
Carlos's family background was also among the wealthiest in town.
He commuted to school in a sports car worth nearly a hundred thousand dollars.
Many beautiful girls in the school had fallen into Carlos's arms.
However, the two girls Carlos desired the most showed no interest in him.
Young and Anna cared for those anonymous, nameless individuals that made Carlos extremely uncomfortable.
He didn't think he would lose to someone like Tony.
Countless male students who pursued Young and Anna were beaten and threatened by Carlos and his gang.
But today, they were unfortunate to confront Tony.
"Don't think a little strength can make you talk back to me," Carlos, though somewhat fearful, remained defiant.
Tony said, "Carlos, what do you rely on to threaten others? Don't think I don't know how you and your gang beat up so many people for trying to pursue Anna and Young. But thanks to you, I was able to win Young's love."
"So, how do you intend to thank me?" Carlos still spoke with firmness.
Tony's hand suddenly grabbed Carlos's neck tightly. Carlos didn't expect Tony to do this.
He could only raise his hand to try to loosen the strong grip on his throat.
Initially, Carlos could resist a little, and his throat emitted a hoarse sound, as if he wanted to curse at Tony but couldn't. Carlos felt breathless, his eyes rolled white, and his strength gradually diminished without the ability to resist.
Tony lifted Carlos off the ground and forcefully pushed him forward, making Carlos fly backward and fall heavily to the ground, rolling a few times.
Tony looked at Carlos lying on the ground and said, "Carlos, how did you like the gift I just gave you?"
Carlos lay on the ground, coughing due to breathlessness, his eyes red with anger staring at Tony.
For the moment, he couldn't do anything.
He could only harbor resentment in his heart. He was genuinely afraid of Tony because of what Tony had just done to him.
Tony said, "Do you think your parents' wealth and your football skills mean everything belongs to you? Get rid of that mindset. It's the thinking of sick individuals. If you continue like this, next time I won't go easy on you like today."
Carlos said, "So what can you do to me? Beat me up like today?"
Tony smirked contemptuously at Carlos, "The first time we met, I warned you not to do anything foolish to provoke me. If not, you would face an unpleasant outcome. This time, I'm reminding you again. You'll get the worst you can imagine if you continue with the stupidity you pulled today. Don't think I'm joking; I have no patience for guys like you."
Having said that, Tony walked away, leaving Carlos and his friends lying scattered in the fast-food restaurant's parking lot.
Back home, Tony, feeling that he encountered quite a few incidents since acquiring the system, most of which required physical force to resolve, decided to expedite the integration of new abilities.
After a brief online search, Tony found a woman selling three electric eels for $2,000 on an animal trading website. Looking at the photos and videos provided by the seller, Tony observed that all three electric eels were in good health.
$2,000 was a relatively cheap price to own three electric eels.
The only issue was that the seller was in the city of Boston.
If Tony wanted to acquire them, he had to make a trip to the city.
The town where Tony lived was not far from Boston, taking just over an hour's drive.
Knowing where to buy the electric eels, Tony did not rush to purchase them because there weren't many life points available in the system.
After contacting the seller, he scheduled to buy the electric eels two days later.
Initially planning to buy only one electric eel, the seller wanted to sell all three at a reasonable price that Tony could afford.
In other places, the prices were a bit high, with just one electric eel costing over $1,000, excluding transportation fees, and the sellers were too far away.
Tony had to prepare some life points to tame all three electric eels because he wasn't sure how many life points a tamed electric eel needed.
Electric eels were quite dangerous, and if Tony couldn't tame them, he wouldn't dare bring them back.
Once done, Tony summoned a dragonfly and a level 5 ant that were hiding in his room.
The dragonfly and the ant, both at level 5, always stayed hidden in Tony's room without venturing outside.
Tony didn't want others to see them for now.
The ant quickly crawled out from under the cupboard and climbed onto the desk in front of Tony, while the dragonfly perched on the chandelier in the bedroom and then landed on the computer screen.
Tony looked at the two level 5 creatures, contemplating what to do with them.
