The Caucasian dog was now wagging its tail, rubbing against Tony's legs like a loyal dog trying to win over its owner. The center's staff couldn't comprehend what was happening; they looked at each other in bewilderment, unsure of what to do. The Caucasian dog's complete 180-degree transformation was due to Tony taming it with a gentle pat on the back. It had now become Tony's favored companion, how could it possibly show aggression towards him? Observing the incredulous expressions of everyone in the center, Tony had to speak up to break the tense atmosphere: "No need to worry, the dog has been brought under control." While saying this, Tony commanded the Caucasian dog to sit in place. The term "brought under control" sounded soothing coming from Tony. But how was it possible? The animal rescue center's staff felt like they were experiencing a dream. If it weren't for the pain from the wounds inflicted by the Caucasian dog, they might have thought it was all a dream. So many staff members couldn't control the Caucasian dog, yet Tony managed to do it with ease. Up until now, people were still wondering how Tony could achieve such a change in the dog and make it obedient to his commands. Maria was the first to speak up, saying, "Tony, thank you for helping us resolve this situation." "No problem," Tony replied with a smile. After that, everyone in the center expressed their gratitude towards Tony. If it weren't for Tony's intervention, they might have sustained even more injuries before being able to bring the Caucasian dog under control. A male staff member, still fearful of the Caucasian dog, asked Tony, "Could you help us put it back in the kennel?" "Is it necessary?" Tony asked. The staff member replied, "It is necessary; otherwise, it might go berserk and attack people, which wouldn't be good. It has already injured nearly 10 people." Tony curiously inquired, "Why did it go berserk and attack people?" Even though the animals in the center were aggressive, they wouldn't attack the staff members who took care of them diligently unless they felt threatened. "We were bathing it, and a stick accidentally hit it. It thought we were hitting it, so it went berserk and attacked everyone. It's an unfortunate incident," Maria explained to Tony. Maria continued, "Tony, could you help us put it back into the kennel?" "I don't think it's necessary because I want to adopt it," Tony said. Maria, surprised, asked, "You want to adopt this Caucasian dog?" People in the center were also surprised, but then they realized that it was quite normal, given that the Caucasian dog now followed Tony's commands obediently. "That's right," Tony affirmed. Maria, not understanding why Tony wanted to adopt so many dogs, asked, "If I remember correctly, you've already adopted all three dogs from the center. Two Alaskas and an American Bulldog, all of which I assisted you in the process. Can you tell me why you want to adopt so many dogs, Tony?" Tony nonchalantly replied, "I adopt them, train them, and then sell them to others." Maria asked, "You train dogs?" Maria didn't expect Tony to be a dog trainer, considering he was quite young. Tony said, "Yes, what's the problem?" Maria remarked, "It's not just that I didn't expect it; you're quite the dog trainer." At this point, some people in the center also felt that Tony's ability to easily control the Caucasian dog was much more understandable. "So, can I adopt this Caucasian dog?" Tony asked again. Maria said, "Sure, but you need to pay more attention to it. You've seen what it can do today. We don't expect it to harm anyone. The injuries to the center's staff today were due to our negligence. If you let it harm others, that would be troublesome." "You can rest assured; I will train it well before letting it out," Tony said. The injured staff members were taken for treatment, and fortunately, no one was seriously hurt. Tom also donated $1,500 to the center to assist its operations. Although Tony felt uneasy about the injuries caused by the Caucasian dog to several staff members, it wasn't his responsibility. With that amount, he could buy a good Caucasian dog from a pet store. However, Tony preferred to adopt dogs from the animal rescue center because there were many deserving and neglected dogs there. They could become good dogs and have a better life – that was Tony's desire. While waiting for the paperwork from the center to officially adopt the Caucasian dog, Tony overheard Maria talking to a woman who had come to the center to adopt a cat. The woman who wanted to adopt a cat said, "My neighbor has a Ragdoll cat. I really like its fur and its blue eyes. Lately, there have been mice causing trouble in my house, so I thought about adopting a cat to chase them away and prevent them from entering. That's why I wanted to ask if the center has Ragdoll cats."
